He was very quick with responding and we set up an estimate that unfortunately got canceled due to our lovely monsoon season. He rescheduled for the next day and showed up right on time which I know from experience is a very hard quality to find in most landscaping company's. Garnicas Landscaping showed up at 7am and was finished by 7.30. Not only was it quick but very professional. They did not cut any corners and truly showed there expertise! My property is very weird with no side gate or access to the patio with out coming through the house. They were very careful not to make a mess bringing everything through the house and not to ding the doors with there equipment. Overall I am extremely impressed, Garnicas Landscaping is a professional, punctual, fair priced, team of experts that I have faith would do an amazing job on even the biggest jungle!! I was supposed to hire a company to come get the backyard into manageable length so I could then take over doing the gardening, but after seeing how good of a job they did. I feel like I might be asking for a monthly quote! ** Update 3/30/20** I let my backyard/ jungle get out of control again and Garnicas Landscaping came to the rescue! When I tell you guys this is a team of rock stars I mean it to the fullest! Words can't describe the amazing Job they do every time they come out. So this time I took some before and after pictures to let you be the judge.

I paid $1,000 in cash as a deposit and an additional $2,375 via Venmo for materials at his request. After payment was made, the project was delayed multiple times. Only minimal framing work was completed, and the concrete pour that was scheduled never happened. Communication then stopped completely. I made multiple attempts to contact him by phone and text and received no response. I also requested a refund, which was not returned. As of now, I am out $3,375 with no completed work. I would strongly caution anyone considering hiring this contractor.

It was great to actually have communication with the office. The first service exceeded my expectations. Jovan and crew were very polite, and the yard and bushes look better than ever. I'm very happy with their communication and delivery of service!

He listened to my complaints and wanted to help fix the problem and learn from their mistakes. He agreed to refund my last service which I appreciate. Thankful that the management cares enough to fix the issue and train the team. UPDATE 9/2026 3 STARS: We had Silver Fern for two years, and they charged $94 a month, which was a reasonable price for monthly maintenance. Recently, they increased the rate to $99 a month. While that increase was manageable, it ultimately wasn't worth it given the quality of service we received. We enjoyed the crew when they first started, but over time, the cost no longer made sense for the minimal amount of work being done. The service really seemed to decline over the last six months. Since our yard has no grass, their only tasks were blowing leaves and trimming the bushes, and they would be in and out within 15 minutes. They used to stay at least 30 minutes, so it seemed very rushed. During their last visit, they cut our bushes almost bare and unevenly, something they hadn't done before. Additionally, about six months ago, our irrigation box was broken off the wall and laying on the ground, and we weren't notified by the crew. When we discovered it a week after their service visit, we were quoted $355 to have their irrigation timer installed. This was far too expensive for an issue that could have been avoided. After careful consideration, we decided to part ways with them.

It was 8:30 am and even though I sent a picture he said he would be over by 11 am to make sure it's priced correctly and he can determine much more accurately the number of guys to send. He got here at 10:45 and in 5 min gave me an excellent quote and said 2 guys would do the job in 2.5 hrs. We set a date 4 days later at 8 am. The two guys arrived at 7:50 am. We went to the tree and discussed what I wanted done. I offered to help but they said they had it handled and they would come get me when done. They came to my front door when done and took me around back to check it out and make sure I was pleased. They were polite and professional. They had all the proper tools needed to do the job. They hauled away all the trimmings. They not only raked the gravel but blew off that entire side of the yard. They also managed the entire job without damaging any of the 5 large prickly pear cactus, 2 birds of paradise, and 1 mini palm tree that are all within 1-5 feet from this tree. It's a family run business, his crews are covered by his insurance while on your property. Multiple mature, full, flowering shrubs were cut down into stiff, unnatural box-like shapes with most of the blooms removed. The entire look of my yard was drastically changed in a single visit. This is not professional landscaping - it's careless and shows a lack of basic pruning knowledge. When I contacted the owner about it, my concerns were dismissed and he hung up on me. Save yourself the frustration and go with a more competent company. Photos speak for themselves. ***Update***: The owner's response speaks for itself. Rather than addressing the legitimate concerns about the quality of work, he chose to attack me personally and publicly, calling me disgustingly rude and telling other businesses never to work with me. This condescending and unprofessional response only confirms why we will never use this company again.

I found the broken PVC right where I instructed his worker to plant an agave fior me. When I told Isaiah's TFH Landscaping that his worker broke the sprinkler line, ISAIAHs said he would send the worker over to do the repair in a couple days which Isaias said was Tuesday, the worker never showed up. When I called him to say the worker never showed up he said he would come in a couple days and he personally will come and be there. Well Isaias never showed up. What's worse is he used to answer the phone on the first ring and was "always there for me" and even said "You know I am always here for you and I answer the phone". But after he didn't show up two times he wasn't answering the phone anymore .... ever. I left many, many messages telling Isaias I was disappointed that not only does he not show up to do the repair that his worker broke, but he deliberately is ghosting me for weeks. He sees from caller ID it is me calling for him to repair something he damaged (I sent pictures of the hacked irrigation pipe in the hole where the agave got blown outta there from the broken line), so he deliberately does not answer the phone ever again to BE THERE FOR MEEEEE, like he told me previously. That deserves 1 Yelp star. So you think I'm going to do business with him if he doesn't even answer the phone ever? Someone told me "because they don't get paid to repair their mistakes and have to take time out from already paying jobs to go to a job that doesn't pay. I have a new landscaper who has many solid 5 Yelp stars, and so far he has shown up every time I needed him, right on time, even when he squeezed me in. I texted asking for a quote and Alis' wife, Maria, responded within a minute I think. Set up a quote for the following day - Alis and Manny showed up right on time. I walked them through our 6-month-neglected yard which was really a mess thanks to 2 mesquite trees. Anyone who has a mesquite tree knows exactly what I'm talking about regarding mesquite mess - layers and layers of mess and things to pick up. I'm so happy with the result! Our yard has never looked this clean. So much mesquite tree mess was always left behind with other landscapers or they'd just blow the mess into corners and leave most of it. Not with Alis. They did a fantastic job and I'm now going to have him come regularly. If you've neglected your yard like we did, you'll have to pay someone to deal with all of that neglect. If someone quotes you a low bid for a neglected yard (can't tell ya how many times I've gone for that!), don't go that route. Instead, pay someone who's going to be excellent, and then hire them permanently.

I've worked with quite a few landscaping companies in the valley, and I usually end up thinking, "I…read moreshould have done this myself." I recently had a job that I'd done many times before, but it was backbreaking work, and I just didn't have the energy to tackle it. It involved an overgrown border of Bermuda grass, weeds, and palm trees that love to sprout every year. Even when the palms are small, they're incredibly difficult to pull, and I won't even get into the hassle of removing the grass. Knowing I'd probably be disappointed in the results, I decided to give another company a try and hired Phillip. Though his services weren't cheap, he was a clear communicator and took the time to carefully walk through the job with me. I decided to move forward with the bid, and his team did an excellent job. Everything was neat, clean, and performed with high care and quality. This was far from your typical hack-and-slash operation. In Arizona, it's hard to ask for more, and Phillip has certainly earned my future business. If you've been let down by other companies, give them a try--you won't be disappointed.
