My wife and I have a typical Arizona fireplace called a Beehive Style in our home. We have been debating about what to do with it and I've kind of put it on the back burner for a while until the other day. I called 123 Remodeling and spoke with Tyler McCabe. We had been to Home Depot and Lowe's looking at peel and stick tile which we found would not work. He suggested mosaic tile would work and that they could do the project. He said to go pick up mosaic tile at whatever big box store we would like so we went to Floor Decor and discovered a stone pattern that we really liked. Tyler's guys came over and did a immaculate job and transformed our blasé fireplace into a piece of art. Everything went so smoothly and so well you would never know these guys were even in our house. I can't say enough positive about Tyler and 123 Remodeling. If you're looking for any type of interior design or interior home improvement project don't make the mistake of not calling Tyler at 123 Remodeling . You can rest assured if there's any other interior design going on in our house, he will be the person to do it. From the very first meeting, we were impressed by their professionalism, attention to detail, and depth of experience. Unlike other companies we spoke with, their team came prepared--immediately measuring our space, asking thoughtful questions about our design preferences, and, within two weeks, presenting us with samples and concepts tailored to our vision. One of the most refreshing aspects of working with 123 Remodeling was how comfortably and transparently they discussed the budget. They not only respected our budget from day one, but maintained that respect throughout the entire process--something we truly appreciated. While there was a designer change early on, it had no negative impact on our experience or timeline. We hired 123 Remodeling to give a face lift to our new home. Our project covered gutting 2 bathrooms including master, kitchen, framing to create an office, drop zone update and other smaller miscellaneous updates. Pricing was fair compared to other design/builds and we liked their process. Rhonda and her team (special mention to coordinator Vanessa and contractor team Bobby, Lusian) were exceptional at getting the job done within our desired timeline. Any time hiccups arose(no renovation has none), they were always quick and ready to find a solution, even if it meant getting on a zoom call at 10pm. A little more than a year after our remodel, one of our kitchen cabinet tracks came loose and broke. We contacted Rhonda and by the next day we received a response from her team. In a matter of a few days she sent Cristen out to evaluate the job and a couple day later Jordan came out to repair the cabinet. We were extremely pleased with the results, professionalism and excellent workmanship Rhonda and her team provided. We expected to have to pay for the repairs since we were out of the warranty period. We chose 123 Remodeling to remodel our master bath based on a good interaction with their designer. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. The designer made a huge oversight by not realizing we'd have to push out our wall in order to fit a standard tub. While they didn't charge us extra for that work, it was added construction we didn't want. Within a few weeks, the first team that had completed 80% of the work were let go by the company. That group had been working with very little or no oversight (at least not on the worksite) and almost everything they had touched needed to be redone in one way or another. And all the work we can't see - who knows if it was done properly? It took another two months to actually complete the project and we're still left with a couple of items that aren't reasonable to fix yet aren't up to par. It was painful from almost beginning to end and we're left with a finished project that we will never be 100% happy with. We plan to do our kitchen next and will absolutely not use 123 Remodeling. read more
