After getting several quotes we selected JMG Contracting for our renovation, not just on price but also how David's years of experience was evident in the way that he answered our questions and helped us come up with a plan that met our needs. Our project consisted of a complete redo of the master bathroom including converting a garden tub and shower into a full walk-in shower with accessibility features, new vanity and mirror (both involving electrical wiring), and a new bidet toilet (also involving wiring). We also upgraded the vanity, mirror, and light in the guest bath as well as upgrading some lighting throughout the house including adding pendants over the peninsula and converting track lights to can lights in the kitchen. We absolutely love our new bathroom! It gives me a calm feeling every time I walk into the room. A little oasis in our "beach" house in the middle of the desert. While having your routine disrupted by construction is never fun, JMG made the process as seamless as possible. Everyone that worked on our project was courteous, friendly and professional, and worked to make sure we were happy with the results. The team was careful to protect our floors by taping down a path of brown paper to the construction zone. They also created a zippered "door" with heavy plastic to keep the mess and dust as contained as possible and even swept at the end of the day. I specifically want to mention Josh, Frank and Gorge. We feel they went above and beyond in making our vision come to life. I had some pretty specific images in my head and they were listened patiently and did their best to make it happen or explained why it wasn't possible. And thank goodness for Holly! Holly's knowledge, guidance and calm throughout the process was invaluable as well. JMG gets the job done! We highly recommend them for any project. Schedule estimate and walk through. No one came out to do so at schedule time and date. Left messages to office as well as with office manager Holly, no follow up. If you can't show up on time for a bid or follow up with a call, can't imagine what nightmare would ensue when they are actually doing the work. If that is your first impression you leave on a potential client, imagine the quality of work or lack there of. Lack of time management and follow up is all you need to know about this place. Do yourself a favor and read the negative reviews and avoid. read more

If you are looking for a great company to do your remodel, JMG is it. They just remodeled our kitchen and I couldn't be happier. Everyone that I worked with were excellent. They listened to my ideas and expectations. Mike the project manager was great. He kept me informed on what to expect each day from demo to completion. All the guys, Patrick, Joe, Josh, George, Ivan, Frank, Ryan, I'm sure I'm forgetting someone but they all were great. Very respectful and friendly. I will definitely use them again. BTW they did a remodel of our master bath a couple years ago and we had the same great experience. I dont want to forget Katelyn and Holly in the office who were very helpful in getting appointments set up for tile and countertops sekections. read more

When We started our bathroom remodel with JMG contracting we were nervous because we had a bad experience with another contractor on our old house. JMG did an amazing job from start to finish. We really liked how they used a program called buildertrend. That helped us see all of our selections and costs / communication. We really liked using buildertrend because It makes the process transparent and organized. JMG's communication was great from the estimating process all the way to the end of the project. Katelyn was super helpful with our design/ selections. Bryan was our project manager and he did a great job! We are really happy with the whole team and experience! We have already recommended them to our friends and family. read more

A huge thank you to good folks at JMG Contracting in making my design ideas come to life! I no longer hate my 28 year old bathroom and love the updates. The pictures do not do it justice. I could not be happier with the attention to detail and precision with the large format tile. Special thanks to Brian, Holly, David, Jeremy, Jorge and Jesus! I look forward to doing our next project with JMG. read more

We had an excellent experience working with JMG Contracting on a recent bathroom remodel. We have worked with many contractors over the years and they were by the far the best! Each crew member that worked on our project was prompt, professional, and courteous. Our project manager Chris visited the site everyday and kept the entire team on track. We couldn't be happier with our remodel and appreciate the ease at which JMG completed our job. Thank you team! read more

We had a great experience with JMG! Our remodeled bathroom is gorgeous! Everyone we dealt with at JMG was professional, knowledgeable and approachable for all our questions. Our project manager kept us informed throughout the process. We removed our old tub and JMG created space for a linen closet! We finally have room for towels! Shower is gorgeous! We even came in under budget. Can't believe that's our bathroom! read more

A 4th project completed with JMG contracting, and just as expected they were awesome again. They installed a hood vent in a 12 ft high ceiling over a kitchen island stovetop, and they did a great job. We love it! Always professional, reliable, responsive, accountable and they don't leave any mess behind. Highly recommend if you want a job properly done and with honesty. read more

Before you do business with JMG, look at the fine print in their contract, their preferred providers list, how prices are handled, and their "lack of providing a schedule". Buried under item 9 Miscellaneous in their 10 page contract is their Cancellation Policy: "Cancellation Policy - The option to cancel the project with no penalty up until initial deposit is collected. Anytime after the deposit is collected and the client wishes to cancel, JMG will retain 20% of the deposit amount. If JMG has ordered any materials or incurred any other expense such as [but not limited to] meeting with designers, walking the project with the Project Manager and/or Estimator, job creation, or any other labor expense associated with the clients project, JMG will be entitled to additional percentage of the deposit up to the full deposit amount." Even if they never perform ANY work, never show up at your house, and never provide you with a schedule, they can and will enforce a 20% "cancellation fee". They collect at least 40% of the contract quote upon signing, you will pay at least 20% of any money collected or 8% of the total price quote! For a large kitchen project, this could be thousands of dollars. In our case, it was about $8,000. Their preferred provider's list consists of standard companies such as Home Depot and Lowes for many items. We decided to purchase some items from Spencer's and were told that instead we should consider a company that specializes in used or "scratch and dent" appliances! When we visited some suppliers, we asked for prices, we were told to get a quote from JMG. Despite many, many requests for prices and waiting weeks, they never bothered with these requests. When they did provide a price quote, there were no "contractor discounts". We never received a schedule (even after waiting weeks and giving a deadline of "needing a schedule by end of day, on Friday" and being promised that it would be provided!). We were told that our project could be done in 6 to 8 weeks if we signed the contract, and in the email that came with the proposal. "I'll be looking forward to your approval and we can get this moving forward." All this meant was that JMG would setup an online account and then start making promises that never materialized. There are many more complaints about the "expertise" of their staff, their inability to do the work promised, their promises every week to schedule meetings that never happened, their disrespectfully canceling a meeting 15 minutes beforehand, etc. When it became apparent that they weren't planning to start on our kitchen remodel, had no schedule, we realized that we had been "taken". Hope that others might avoid the frustration and cost of doing business with this company read more

I am so glad we choose JMG contractors to remodel my bathroom. Mike the product manager was professional, compassionate and caring about the job. His team was no joke, straight up workers and I appreciate each one of them. The experience remodeling the bathroom was a bit longer than we expected, with a couple of hiccups when the product came in. But Mike and his team resolved them and kept it moving. I highly recommend JMG contractors for anything you want remodeled. They are the best in the valley. OH, not to mention the clean up, it's like they weren't even there? My vision bathroom is a dream come true. THANKS again... read more

Jmg, has been very unprofessional, we did a contract for 2 bathrooms, they wanted 30% up front when contract was signed, then 20% when they started. My fault I should have read the contract better, 50% before they even walk in the door? Their work is not the greatest, my one bathroom the tile is off because they put in the niche wrong and it is not centered in the wall, even tho they had the tile to measure it out, so my one side looks really stupid with this 1' inch piece to on one side my niche. They did not even offer to fix it, as it would have been a complete re-due and I probably would have waited another week to get that done. I did make them fix the tile, when none of the corner lines matched up. Then my new tub already has scratches on it from the workers standing in it and leaving all their garbage in it. The pic show's carboard in the bottom, but that was only after their 1 wall guy put it there, after I called and complained. Most all are always late, even PM says he will be here between X and X and 5 minutes before the last minute, i get, "oh I will be there in 45 minutes", really? Very crappy work, on the walls, they always have to be re-textured, because the one guy has no clue what he is doing. Splatter everywhere, and no clean up. Drinks left on the rooms they are working in, garbage left out from wrappers from supplies.   Grout water and pieces poured in my grass front yard, told them it had to be cleaned up before final check. They are always stopping to go run and get supplies, as they never pre-plan for anything. After the first bath was not even completed, I told them I wanted out of my contract and to not do the 2nd bathroom, asked to speak with the owner, but he would only communicate through their program, Buildertrend, no phone calls, as the email was the only way he would communicate. Promised me all my issues would be mute if we finished the project, umm they did not stop. When they did demo in 2nd bathroom, they knocked out the internet, so I lost 4 hours of work and asked if anyone was going to pay me for the money I lost out on, owner Jeremy, had no reply to that, not even a comment of "no, sorry", or "I will look into this", nothing. I will say that the 2nd guy who did my tiles and the replacement guy who did my wall textures, were great. My 2nd bathroom looks great as they used different guys that they used on the 1st bathroom. On a side note, the guy who gave them 5 stars is their estimate guy, ROFL!!!! read more

Do not use them, ever. I hired them in late 2024 for a basic kitchen remodel and living space reno. I gave them the huge down payment they asked for, and over the next four months they kept asking for more and more money. In those four months they did zero construction on the kitchen and living space. They did, however cause enough destruction to make the home unlivable. I made many, many sacrifices for my country, and now these despicable people take my savings, wreck my home, and leave piles of garbage behind (which they charged me for removing, and didn't remove!). The photo is what my kitchen looks like in May, 2025. I only pray no more hard-working Arizonans fall prey to these scammers! read more

JMG Contracting - Kitchen, post JMG "work". - General Contractors Near Me - Peoria, Arizona

It took 26 years for us to start our kitchen remodel. We were worried after hearing horror stories about remodeling projects gone wrong. Our experience with JMG was great! There were a couple of hiccups along the way - there always are in remodeling projects. But Bryan and his team (and everyone else at JMG) worked with us and got the problems resolved quickly. Everyone that worked on the project, from the project manager to each of the crew that worked on our home, was professional, respectful and did their work with pride. The project was done on time and on budget! We couldn't be happier. read more

When it comes to home renovation projects we have extremely bad luck. JMG has turned this around. Everyone at JMG from David who performed the initial estimate to Holly who handled handled the purchasing to Bryan supervising the project were amazing to work with. There was a constant flow of communication every step of the way which I have found to be rare in the construction industry. All of the sub specialists really took pride in their work and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the final outcome. We highly recommend JMG and look forward to working with them in the future. read more

Thank you JMG! You guys were great to work with. David kicked off the experience by listening to all the details we had for our major remodel (trust me, there were a lot). He listened to our budget and provided an estimate that was within our expectations. Don't expect JMG to give you the lowest estimate but you get what you pay for. Josh and Albert were our contractors. They were very good at communicating and provided us guidance when needed. One downside was going from David to Josh to Albert, some details got lost in the transition. We were able to overcome this via good communication. The job took a little longer than originally planned but it was also in the middle of a tough job market where it's difficult to find good labor. Overall, our family could not be happier with our new home and I would certainly recommend JMG to any friends and family. read more

JMG Contracting just remodeled a bathroom shower for us after a leak. We were very impresses and appreciative of how they handled the job. They were very clear in their communication with us, told us what to expect and maintained great customer care throughout the project. The lead on our project, Jorge, did a great job of managing the project, addressing and correcting any issues or concerns we had and making sure the project was completed to our satisfaction. They showed up when they said they would and worked hard every day, they were mindful of our home and property and did an excellent job of cleaning up each day and at the completion. The pricing was fair in relation to other bids and the work quality was on the mark. Its hard to find good, reliable contractors, who take pride in their workmanship and ensure the customer had a good experience and I think JMG is that contractor. We will definitely use them again and recommend anyone needing a contractor to check them out. read more

JMG was easy and great to work with. They were transparent with the tentative start date being someways out and the project timeline once it was started. The Buildertrend app was helpful in tracking my project, the communication and selections. Also every guy that came through the house was very friendly and clean. Overall satisfied with the project and outcome on our guest bathroom remodel. read more

Project was scheduled to start in July but didn't happen until Sept. it lasted through December so our holidays were inconvenienced. While I am mostly happy with the end result, I would not recommend JMG. It took 3 months to finish a small hall bathroom due to numerous errors. Many things had to be redone, items were damaged, and sometimes they were late or no showed without communication. Also, I had to negotiate what got fixed and redone, not all items were resolved. I am still dissatisfied and upset about the floors. They damaged our floors by leaving tape on them for weeks at a time. They also did not properly complete our bathroom floors. We still have to remodel another bathroom and a kitchen, however, we will be hiring a different company. read more

We had the typical roman tub that no one used and a small shower. JMG helped design our dream walk-in shower. Josh and his crew took the design to reality. Special shout-out to Luis who was a perfectionist with the tile work. read more

The workmanship is great and the people coming into my home are. Otherwise, I would have given it a 1 star. Shady business practices.

Jmg, has been very unprofessional, we did a contract for 3 bathrooms. Project started Dec 13, 2022 and still not one bathroom complete. Their work is not great, we have had one bathroom, that tile has been replaced at least 5 times. Very sloppy work all around, most everything they have done has had to be done more then once. Now they are mad and have attitude with us because we want stuff fixed and done right. They don't clean up after themselves at all. Now they won't talk to us by phone or text and must use their app only and still have not answered questions we have concerns about. They took our project manager off our job without letting know and send us a foreman that comes to my house and is very rude, when we don't even know the guy. Many no shows with this company. This project should have been done by now. read more
