As we're nearing the end of our shower remodel, we would like to express our gratitude to the Global Prevention Services staff. Upon having our master shower remediated for mold through our home insurance policy, we were on the hunt for a company that could reconstruct the shower. I submitted a request through Yelp, and Global Prevention Services responded and got me scheduled for a consultation immediately. Shortly after this consultation, the Global Prevention Services Project Coordinator, Kimberly, put together several service estimates for me, as we weren't yet sure the direction we wanted to go with the shower tile. Kimberly was patient with us as we picked out materials and went back and forth on what we wanted to do! Due to our mold experience, we ultimately decided we wanted to limit the amount of grout in the shower, in hopes of minimizing the chances of it failing. With that, we started the reconstruction! Throughout the whole process, Kimberly and Rudy, the project manager, were incredibly thorough, communicative, and overall, just really helpful. We could not be more grateful for the time and effort both Kimberly and Rudy spent trying to make our shower dreams come true. I would also love to give a shout out to all of the guys who helped load and unload HUGE porcelain slabs -- that is no easy feat! I think it is also important to thank both the CEO, Michael and the President, Jeanette for checking in throughout the project to ensure our satisfaction. Nightmare experience!! Global Prevention Services charged us 15 grand and took over 6 months for a very small guest bathroom. We were willing to pay this because we were under the impression that Global Prevention would perform high quality work. Rudy was the project manager and consistently apologized and agreed the work was poor quality but never made any effort to fix the sloppy work. They just wanted a payday and didn't provide quality work as they promised. Please don't do what we did and CHOOSE ANY OTHER COMPANY. Global prevention services is a fraudulent company looking to scam homeowners and do as little work as possible. My child's bathroom is now a huge safety hazard thanks to the sharp metal trim they left exposed in multiple areas. This has been an absolute nightmare for us, stay away!! read more

Rudy came out at my chosen day & time, was very friendly, also provided answers to some questions I had about water damages. my estimate for repairs & remodel was very reasonable. they were able to do my renovation on the start date I chose& was kept up to date on supplies on back order or not available. We had a bathroom remodel that included new tile, new shower door, tearing down wall paper and repainting. GPS was the only contractor who said they could do all of it. Thier customer service was excellent. Kimberly schedule the job to perfection. She always called to let me know when a crew was on the way and most were right on time. UPDATED REVIEW BASED ON OWNER'S RESPONSE: I, as a consumer, would have no reason to tells lies about a company. I only leave reviews to warn others. The inspectors you recommended DID want to charge us, so, lie number one. You said you would try to call me on Monday and didn't. Nor did you call on Tuesday, nor Wednesday, so lie number two. I am soooo glad we did not use this company as you NEVER call back (per other reviews as well, but I guess you would also accuse them of lying rather than taking responsibility like a professional). Also, your inspectors were the ones who said they would not recommend you, even though you recommended them. I am the one who should have never tried to give you a second chance. Obviously, you are unworthy of that. I left a bad review before because (as other reviewers have written) these people do NOT get back to you. I removed the review and decided to try them again. SAME THING. Except this time the person who answered said I should talk to the owner as we have a toxic black mold issue. The owner called us the next day (Friday) at 5 pm. I missed the call but got it ten minutes later. He left a message that I cannot call him back as he's going to a fundraiser event, but he MIGHT get back to me on Monday. Here it is, Wednesday evening and still no call. Good for the owner that he's so busy going to events that he doesn't need to bother with potential customers. I can only imagine how they'd be after you became a customer. Meanwhile another company (also Yelp guaranteed) had the owner call us that night, sent someone right out, got us an estimate, called around for carpet cleaning, and... is taking care of business. I spent the better part of six months talking to flaky companies, companies that wanted to completely gouge me on cost, you name it. I called Global Prevention Services and told them my situation of wanting to do a very small bathroom remodel and a new window. From the very beginning, Kimberly in the office was communicative with me every step of the way when it came to scheduling and project status. The window was on backorder for a couple of months and they were consistently keeping me updated with its status. Rudy came out to estimate the cost and came back with extremely reasonable numbers and even some recommendations for me when it came to design. Hired Juan to remodel the bathroom on my historic home, he was able to start the job well ahead of the estimates from other contractors and at a very reasonable price. G&C met several challenges and, in the end, completely transformed the bathroom with superior craftsmanship. These guys are really good but I agree with the other reviewer, get at least 3 quotes for the job and, in my book, for ANY job in your home really. It is unbelievable the range of prices for the same service and almost always the best quality comes from the busiest who has best quality. Be very careful dealing with a leak or flood as you might have mold - another company told me to make a hole in the wall and put a fan to to it which would lead to spreading the mold and transforming a messy situation into a hugely messy one. Obviously, the more messy, more fees to them. read more

Thank you for sending a crew to repair the water damaged in the bathroom, kids bedroom and master bedroom, that was cause by a bathroom leak behind the vanity, a lot of drywall and laminated floorig was removed, the crew work very hard and quickly to set-up the proper equipment to get it dry fast. Global was the third contractor for our restoration job, and we are so thankful for their great work. they were the only to set a completion date in their contract as normal, and when our old house threw curves they didn't use it as an excuse, incredibly, Global just worked harder and met the challenges and still beat the target date by a day! My house is better off than before as far as solid soundness where the sun doesn't shine (we had a leak in a wall and behind cabinets) and a great finish with that 5 percent gap that water doesn't forgive all sealed up. Prevention does fit well in their name, and not a string of subcontractors. These people proved themselves accountable to me and to nature, and not afraid of their job. Global respected this was my home more than their job and still proved they were competent, capable, willing and really kind and well intended for our family. While my expectations had been set very low by incredible predatory practices by the mitigation restoration gamers, and while we learned the hard way that better than the other guy in that realm is no way good enough, Global proved they are far far better than the other guy. I am sitting looking at the crisp millwork, thorough caulk, Jose's tile laying art and how Rudy could wrestle those countertops dead level and center, and realizing this is finished now so fast is amazing, I was so afraid this bogged down scary ugly digout job would nuke the holidays for us. I am thinking all you all's moms should be very proud of you. I actually didnt think it was possible to get this done right, and pop back from setbacks, but you did it.
