What a hidden gem! Found this place just browsing restaurants in the area. The restaurant is quite nice and there's this great outdoor patio with a little fire pit, and heat lamps all around. The service here was very good too, the servers were very attentive the entire time and gave us their recommendations. Super friendly. When the food came out, Boy oh boy was the portions on larger size. We ordered a variety of things because we were a party of four and it was our first time there. The cheese fried egg roll was so good. The sampler dip appetizer was also excellent, I definitely recommend ordering this. I got the lamb shank, and it was perfectly season to fall off the bone. It came with us delicious yogurt sauce. My partner got the beef spicy kebab plate, so delicious! And it was a huge portion. We had some the next day for lunch, and it tasted even better. This is the Fourth time I eat at Aleppo with my family , the food always great , good service. Never had a problem, I recommend it highly. Only problem I have .: there is something on their menu called "pita" . I don't understand it . While the whole menu is Syrian/arabic food, where does the pita come from . I know the bread in Syria is not called pita or in any other Arab country except in Israel, so why do they use a Hebrew or maybe Greek name or Arabic bread , are they ashamed of calling it Arabic bread?? read more

Busy nights I get it but this place only picks and chooses who they want to sit down when checking in. Reservations or not. The host just decides who he wants to sits first even tho you checked in before any party that was a walk- in. And the reason it such a long wait to be sat is because no one cleans the tables for new patrons. Service is incompetent. Food is at least a 30 minute wait. Asked for a check and to get a to go box, for the server only wanted to close our check and completely forgot to bring us a box after waiting for 10 mins. Seems like this place only serve its own kind. The wait to from being sat down, to the service is ridiculous. Will never come here again l. read more

My family loves Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food a lot. We have visited many different restaurants. Aleppo is one place I haven't even heard of until a family friend invited us to join them for Father's Day dinner. So our 2 families drove over to Anaheim. It's been ages since I have been to Anaheim. Yup, not even to Disneyland (which is overly overpriced and woke). The area leading up to Aleppo was very clean and beautiful! I felt we were going to be pleased upon arrival and sure it was a really cool, clean, and beautiful family friendly restaurant. The staff were quite warm as well. As it was our first time, our waiter took time to explain what to expect with the dishes we were contemplating on (platters) since we wanted to make sure we ordered enough food for all. We ordered 2 mixed kabob dinner platters, an appetizer platter, beet salad, and 1 mansaf which i f i remember is the lamb dish. The service was very good which matched our mood for Father's Day. The food was equally very good especially the lamb since I don't like lamb due to the gamey taste. But this was not gamey at all! The beef meat was also tender and flavorful. The appetizers sure made our appetite perk up. The flavors compare very well to other good Mediterranean restaurants. A new favortie of mine is the beet salad. This is a MUST try! My wife also ordered Turkish coffee. This version had cardammon which we didn't like at all. Other than that, this place is a new favorite! read more

I came here today for the first time since opening their new location. I've been a fan of Aleppo when it was at their old location in Anaheim right in little Arabia. However it's not the same and it's definitely not as good. One the service was poor. It took FOREVER just to bring a cup of water and container. Also people were complaining about long waits. The black mint tea was so bitter 0/10 Grape leaves were okay. The original recipe was way more lemony and these just lack that heavy lemon flavor 5/10 The mixed plate doesn't come with hummus so beware but the kefta was good. The steak was flavorless, chicken was okay just overall a small portion of each and way more rice than you need 4/10 Lemon wings however were amazing I will give them that. It's drizzled in lemon butter and more for dipping 10/10. Hummus wasn't great either. Had a small size and it tasted off like it needed more tahini and lemon. Desserts were okay. The baklava was super dry so 0/10 and the Qatayef was good 8/10. The ambiance was cute the decor was very pleasing to look at. Over the experience is disappointing and makes me sad such a good restaurant that use to have so much flavor and good portion sizes has changed for the worse. read more

I tried the restaurant about 2 weeks ago. From the time I called to the actual dining experience, I would rate as very good. I called and a very attentive, polite and pleasant young lady by the name of Isabel answered all my questions. Once I arrived with my guest we were seated promptly and the waitress and hostess were polite and friendly. The restaurant is impecable and the design and decor is bright and modern while paying homage to the Syrian heritage and culture. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was tasty and very clean on the palate an indication of freshly made food. I discovered this restaurant via Instagram which can be a miss or hit .Fortunately, this was a winner. Upon walking in we were greeted by a sweet host who brought us to our table right away. The lunch menu has a little something for everyone and was reasonably priced. I ordered the chicken shawarma and it came with yummy crispy fries, garlic sauce, and ketchup my hubby had a chicken bowl and he loved it. It was half rice, half salad with pita bread, tatziki sauce. The food and service at Aleppo's were great. Our server (can't remember her name, but may have been Rosie) was very friendly and accommodating. They provide a good size portion of food. We took home the leftover food and it was good when eating later that day. We will definitely return and encourage others to eat there with the great atmosphere. The service team was so friendly and accomodating, the interior was bright and nice, and the outdoor tented area was clearly a very popular spot to spend an evening with friends. The restaurant was full of families celebrating graduations and the whole place had a feel true to the name, a friendly family kitchen. The food, oh, the food...just so delicious. As a first timer I stuck with the recommended mixed plate that included skewers of steak, kefta, and chicken with rice and a salad. I enjoyed all three items and the sides. Just keeps getting better. This new location is a hidden gem next to the Anaheim Stadium. It's got a vibrant new menu with an updated and modern decor. I mean, it's a huge step up with easy to find signage and plenty of parking. I haven't had anything that wasn't good here. From the salads to the flatbreads (I love the new potato za'tar version!) to the Aleppo sandwich; everything is delicious. Even their fries are on point. Loved the dip trio; it's all great fun to share. The servers are also really friendly and it was just a nice place to chill with 3 or 4 friends. They are opening up a patio area soon so it'll be nice in the summer with a cold drink. Their lemon mint drink is divine. read more

I almost got lost by insisting on going to Aleppo's Kitchen's old address until my phone insisted on sending me to the correct address. Aleppo's Kitchen has been in business for many year but I've not been able to visit in the past few years. This relatively new location is convenient, with ample parking, great dining space with an updated menu of the same delicious food their kitchen has shared over the years. Haddi, the manager, was very gracious and seated us promptly. Our server Val, was prompt, efficient and attentive, managing her way around the busy dinner service. The food was delicious, fresh and filling, at quite reasonable prices. We ordered mutabal with pita, lamb khabsa with rice & almonds, and spicy chicken panini. Dinner was great, with leftovers to take home. Aleppo's Kitchen remains among my favorite dining spots, with its gracious service, delicious, fresh food and great value for their offerings!
