This restaurant never disappoints. I have been coming here for around 10 years so I started when they were on Brookhurst. The food is always perfectly prepared. You can tell they have pride in every dish that they offer to the public. The presentation of each dish is very beautiful and just makes you want to order more of those healthy Mediterranean items. Man on man.. I used to like this place and would eat here a lot. Today was not good. Service was horrible. They were a little busier than usual, but this is not an excuses. SO GOOD! I went to Aleppo's Kitchen last week and loved it. My family is from the Middle East and specifically Aleppo so I love traditional food. They have items on the menu that are hard to find at other locations. I had the Muhammara Dip, very smooth and delicious. I also had the Mediterranean fries which is an interesting twist on fries they have cheese and tomatoes with herbs very good. I ordered the shish tawook which is chicken breast kebab. Our waitress was very nice and the owner's son came to say hello and gave us a complimentary small plate of baklava. The design inside is very traditional with small hookah type ornaments on the tables. Overall very hospitable and friendly service with fantastic food I am so glad I came here and I will be back anytime I am in Orange County. read more

Tried Aleppo's Kitchen and was pretty disappointed. The filet plate was underwhelming and definitely not filling for the price. The chicken plate was dry and lacked flavor, and to top it off, it gave me an upset stomach later. Not worth it in my opinion, would not recommend. read more

The food was absolutely incredible--each dish was even better than the last! The waitstaff were so friendly, and the food arrived quicker than I expected. To start off the ambiance was fantastic. The service was fantastic. Our servers name was Elizabeth aka Liz. She is the best and even the other server checked on me also. I came with my son who is in a wheelchair and they welcomed him wis open arms. They constantly asked how are you enjoying your Food, service and was there anything we can get for you. The food was excellent in my opinion and I would rate it a five star restaurant without the 5 star price. We ate from the lunch menu and before I had my 1st bite 1 ordered dinner to go for tonight. Lastly after we finished our delectable meal. Liz in formed me of there rewards program where you simply put in your phone number when I got home I already have points enough to chose a reward. I had high hopes for this place. With so many positive reviews I was sure it would be authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. Unfortunately, it did not deliver. I ordered three items, hummus side, kefta plate, and chicken shawarma wrap. The ultimate disappointment was the wrap. It tasted like a Chinese chicken salad wrap. There was no toum (garlic paste) no arab style pickles and the wrap was lacking an abundance of chicken. The hummus and the kefta are what warrants my 3 stars. They were delicious! The staff was friendly and accommodating and coming up and checking on us throughout our meal. I went around lunchtime on a Sunday and we were the only customers. The restaurant is located in a plaza with ample parking out front. Overall, it was a nice, clean establishment with great service but I wouldn't go out of my way to return. read more

This place was absolutely amazing. The food here was perfect. I literally had 0 regrets or negative comments about the food at all. The service was pretty spot on as well. Well minus having to charge you for hot sauce, I thought that was a little on the cheap side. Raise the prices on the food but to charge for hot sauce or extra bread aside from the 3 pieces they give you is kind of not the way to go. But the main dishes wow. I will order the same dish every time. I had the lamb kebsa. Sooo delicious. The lamb fell off the bone and was so tender. The food had soo much flavor. The lebne was so good, and the house made grape leaves were just delicious. Honestly everything was good. The only thing I didnt like was the ishta desert. Every time we are down in Orange County, we always make sure to stop at Aleppo's. It is the best Mediterranean food you've ever had! The best falafel, the best hummus, and their shish kebabs made with filet are unreal -so tender. Yum. We love Isabelle, the best server! She is phenomenal. Always has a smile for us. My husband and I went last night and ordered a few dishes. We got the falafel appetizer which was good. The cheese rolls were mediocre. I got the beef shawarma which was terrible. It was gamey. Weird smell and didn't taste fresh. The salad that came with it had no flavor. Rice was good. Overall terrible dish and wouldn't put $20. My husband got the kash kash dish was was good. The beef was fresh and the toasted bread was pretty good. So I'm giving them an overall 2 star rating is because service was awful. Service by itself was actually 1 star. We asked for condiments with our appetizer it never came. We had to constantly flag them down to request something. Our drinks didn't come until after we were done with appetizers which we had to remind them. Our bill for all of our meals was actually higher than listed on the menu!! If they have to increase pricing then it has to get updated on the menu. They charged us for $5 custom item when we asked they said it was an error. So you charge us more than the listed prices on menu and "accidentally" charge another $5. Ridiculous. Anyway, we wouldn't return. The food wasn't great with the bad service we would go somewhere else. read more

I was excited to try this place and it was exceptionally disappointed. Some food was pretty good but not amazing and overall food was pretty basic. At one point, they randomly put a small container with nuts (about the size of a shot glass). We ate it, they were nothing special. Get the bill later, it was $2.
