To start off the ambiance was fantastic. The service was fantastic. Our servers name was Elizabeth aka Liz. She is the best and even the other server checked on me also. I came with my son who is in a wheelchair and they welcomed him wis open arms. They constantly asked how are you enjoying your Food, service and was there anything we can get for you. The food was excellent in my opinion and I would rate it a five star restaurant without the 5 star price. We ate from the lunch menu and before I had my 1st bite 1 ordered dinner to go for tonight. Lastly after we finished our delectable meal. Liz in formed me of there rewards program where you simply put in your phone number when I got home I already have points enough to chose a reward. Wow, just wow! I had pretty high expectations based on the reviews, but honestly, nothing could compare to the experience I had. The food was absolutely incredible--each dish was even better than the last! The waitstaff were so friendly, and the food arrived quicker than I expected. The flavors were out of this world, and everything tasted so fresh! If you go, I definitely recommend the appetizer combo plate. We actually had a doc appt in the building just across the street so we came here and I'm so glad we did! If you like Mediterranean food you will love this place! It's a quaint place. The food is delicious. We got the hummus with warm pita super good! The bowl and Gyro was just as delicious! And yes they said the fried were crispy well YES they were! Some of the best fries I've had in a while. You will not be disappointed coming to Aleppo's Kitchen. I was excited to try this place and it was exceptionally disappointed. Some food was pretty good but not amazing and overall food was pretty basic. At one point, they randomly put a small container with nuts (about the size of a shot glass). We ate it, they were nothing special. Get the bill later, it was $2. Not that the money is the issue but they should ask right? There's much more I can add, but the bottom line, I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. read more

Every time we are down in Orange County, we always make sure to stop at Aleppo's. It is the best Mediterranean food you've ever had! The best falafel, the best hummus, and their shish kebabs made with filet are unreal -so tender. Yum. We love Isabelle, the best server! She is phenomenal. Always has a smile for us. The food is good. Just don't celebrate a BD there. They overcharge, we had reservations for 10. We told them it was for a BD. They didn't tell us if we bring a cake there will be a charge. When I walked in They told me $25 Charge, I had no choice, I gave it to them. When we got the bill, they charged $35. When we asked why, we were told because there was over 7 people. It's ridiculous. $35 to put it in the fridge for a couple of hours, and bring it to the table. read more

Had a great lunch here after hearing about them on NPR. Very good potion in the lunch bowl with chicken shawarma. Great pita bread to go with the dips in the bowl (the eggplant was great!). SO GOOD! I went to Aleppo's Kitchen last week and loved it. My family is from the Middle East and specifically Aleppo so I love traditional food. They have items on the menu that are hard to find at other locations. I had the Muhammara Dip, very smooth and delicious. I also had the Mediterranean fries which is an interesting twist on fries they have cheese and tomatoes with herbs very good. I ordered the shish tawook which is chicken breast kebab. Our waitress was very nice and the owner's son came to say hello and gave us a complimentary small plate of baklava. The design inside is very traditional with small hookah type ornaments on the tables. Overall very hospitable and friendly service with fantastic food I am so glad I came here and I will be back anytime I am in Orange County. read more

I had high hopes for this place. With so many positive reviews I was sure it would be authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. Unfortunately, it did not deliver. I ordered three items, hummus side, kefta plate, and chicken shawarma wrap. The ultimate disappointment was the wrap. It tasted like a Chinese chicken salad wrap. There was no toum (garlic paste) no arab style pickles and the wrap was lacking an abundance of chicken. The hummus and the kefta are what warrants my 3 stars. They were delicious! The staff was friendly and accommodating and coming up and checking on us throughout our meal. I went around lunchtime on a Sunday and we were the only customers. The restaurant is located in a plaza with ample parking out front. Overall, it was a nice, clean establishment with great service but I wouldn't go out of my way to return. read more
