Just okay! We came here and ate outside, they have heaters and cute string lights, but the photos through Yelp made the place look much cuter... We had three dishes, the golden dragon, the toro dynasty, and the shrimp tempura...it took about 25 minutes before our sushi rolls came out - the shrimp tempura was good, but the other rolls were just kind of bland.. our waitress was very sweet, but I still don't think we'll be coming back. This is a really solid Japanese restaurant with great service and it's a good option if you have a large group craving sushi. We had a party of 6 and not only were we able to get a reservation for a Friday night but they were extra courteous and texted me the day before to ask if we wanted to sit inside or outside. We sat at the big, long, wooden table and it was a nice communal vibe. They have a really cool outdoor patio but we didn't sit back there this time (I've been back there before though and it's nice). The sushi was good. Nothing to write home about but it was solid. Good quality. The restaurant was very clean and I really appreciated that. I love that they have Japanese beers because those are my favorite. I also loved that they have sake - but the prices weren't great. I think I paid $15-$20 per small glass of sake. It probably would've been cheaper to get a bottle but since not many of my friends drink sake that wasn't really an option. I probably wouldn't get individual sake glasses again just because the price was too high. I also like that they had green tea ice cream and fried ice cream. That was a fun way to end the meal. All in all, it's a good place. Quality wise, you can get some really outstanding sushi when you go deeper into Brooklyn like Bushwick or even east Williamsburg, but for Williamsburg proper this place was solid. I had ordered the two rolls special, not many choices for this but I ordered the eel avocado and salmon mango. This came with salad and miso soup. I also ordered a kaarage, comes in two sizes, small and large. The rolls were your typical rolls, nothing special here. They do get credit for not using too much rice and the fish was fresh. The kaarage tho... it wasn't crispy and on the verge of being soggy with a slightly fried outer shell. Also for $9,it's not worth it. Think it was roughly 5 pieces. It came with mayonnaise and wasabi powder. If it weren't for the mayonnaise, it would've just been terrible. For a person who doesn't like miso soup because of the tofu, I drank this just fine and didn't taste the tofu at all. There is a heavy soy flavor in most other soups but this was okay. (if you know, you know) I wouldn't order the kaarage again, but could try their specialty rolls instead. Perhaps it'll taste better at the restaurant, idk.
