I can't say much for TCGs, but every time I'm in the shop, there is always some activity with trading/selling or games being played on the handful of tables set up in the shop. My son and I have been RC customers here for nearly a year and the owner (Michael) and crew are friendly and willing. There is a good selection of popular ARRMA, Losi, Axial and Traxxas vehicles and just about every single new release is in the shop within a few days. There is a curated collection of popular race vehicles behind the counter as well as Kyosho Mini-Z and handful of more specialized brands that only enthusiast hobbyist would even know about like Xpress, MST, and Corally to name a few. There is a small selection of planes and helicopters, and I've been able to have the shop order kits that are more obscure and have it be available within a week or so. I've found the prices to be the same as what is advertised on larger online retailers like Horizon Hobby, A-Main, or Tower Hobbies; Hobby Addicts does have a loyalty program, so I do appreciate that the business understands your patronage is important to them. More importantly, every dollar spent at a local business ends up within the community, so come on out and support your local hobby shop!

I hated to purchase anything however my daughter's been dying to come here after not coming for a year. The store could definitely do without her or put a sign that says "NO BLACKS ALLOWED" while she's working. I have not seen many back issues with the exception of wall comics. They have a pretty large area of clearance $1 comics on the left side of the store which seem to be 2-3 years old books. I like that these $1 boxes are on tables and my back appreciates that they are easy to sort through. They also have an inventory of collected editions which includes trade paperbacks, hardcovers, omnibus, and compendiums. The owner Kerry has tried to help me find some obscure current comic books a couple times which I appreciate. The staff have all been helpful and easy to work with. I believe they do a significant amount of business in trading card/game card these days, but still have a respectable comic offering.

Ever since then, he's been talking about them nonstop -- they're literally the only thing he's told Santa he wants. This morning, I called to see if they were still in stock, and I was so happy to hear they were -- and that they were the last ones! The woman I spoke with on the phone was incredibly kind and even offered to put them on hold for me, which was amazing. I also mentioned that I'd be coming in with my 2-year-old and that having the items ready up front would really help keep the Christmas magic alive. When I arrived, they went above and beyond. The items were on hold, and she discreetly scanned them under the counter, completely out of my toddler's line of sight. She bagged them with tissue paper so nothing was visible, and the entire staff was genuinely happy to help make this a magical moment for our family.
