My tire blew up over the weekend and I was driving on a spare. I went somewhere and waited and they were closed - no sign, they didn't answer their phones the last two days. So I was driving and looking for someplace that could take care of me, and stopped in at Aina Haina 76. Robert and the other young men provided excellent customer service. Jen and Mitch took care of my safety check. Everything was completed in the time promised - new tires, balancing, they even switched my front and back tires and put my spare away nicely in my trunk. The experience was so pleasant, when it could've been anything but. Every team member was professional and courteous. For my safety check, I arrived maybe 15 mins before they started safety checks and they took me right away, I was surprised. Super quick and easy. Awesome customer service! I got a flat close to this gas station late at night with my elderly mother in the car. We pulled into the gas station and Mr. Cashier / Attendant (young surfer guy with long hair) came running out to the car to see how he could help. TONS OF ALOHA! We ended up stuck at the gas station for almost 2 hours because we tried to fix the flat ourselves, but had to eventually call AAA. Grateful for Aina Haina mechanics and staff for keeping our family's fleet of vehicles safe and on the road. Oil changes, brakes, starters, springs, you name it and they fix it. No matter the issue I could rely on quality work and an honest price. If they were unable to fix something, they gave solid recommendations on where to go. Too often when you take your car to the garage you receive a laundry list of "recommended" services. When that happened, I would get a second opinion at AH76 and could rely on an honest answer which saved us thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs. I arrived at 8:55 AM for a safety check first come first serve. They open at 9:00 for service. I was immediately greeted by an attendant who took my paperwork and then started inspecting my vehicle. I waited at conveniently placed chairs and observed the bustling activity of the station. My wait was no more than 20 minutes and I was advised that my vehicle was ready. Here's something that you may not find very often: an honest, kind, and sincerely helpful auto service station. Our older, beat-up Nissan Versa had a mechanical failure on the road today, the engine light came on and the car lost power. We got it off the road safely and then managed to drive it to the nearest service station which happened to be Aina Haina 76 next to Foodland in the Aina Haina shopping center. Their staff was super helpful and took time out of a busy morning to take a look and see what was wrong, even though I didn't have an appointment. I took a walk around the mall and gave them some time to check things out. After about an hour I talked to the technician and he had found that the car ran low on coolant and had overheated, causing a sensor to put the car into "limp" mode, which is why we lost power. He filled us up with water, reset the engine light and sent us on our way without charging. I was amazed at the great service, friendly attitude, and that they were genuinely interested in helping motorists and not just there to run up the bill. I'll definitely come back here when there's something more serious wrong with the car, and recommend them for their honesty and generosity in helping us out! Five stars all the way. read more

The reason why I'm giving this place a 3 is because the cashier older local lady working on 3/9 at 3:30pm was extremely rude. Her approach was very unprofessional and purhaps needs to be educated on providing better customer service!!! Otherwise I was happy being able to get a last min safety check. Customer service so far was good beside the two times I went there they did not call me to tell me my car was done. My car is transportation to work and home. I don't want it to sit there if it's done. First time I went my AC was leaking on my passenger floor. They found it was clogged and they blew it out. The price was not an arm an a leg. They didn't call after it was done I showed up and it was done already. MUST READ: Second time I did an oil change so I've been driving around this whole time and a month later I take it to firestone to get my breaks checked and they checked the oil and there was no oil on the damn dipstick!!! I highly encourage you to check these thing after they are being done there! I will not be returning and giving them my business. I do not have an oil leak and to have no oil is ridiculous! read more

So sad to see how this place is running now. Back in the day they use to be so friendly and service your car quickly and correctly.. Now that those nice employees have left.... Gas pumps not always working. Don't expect any customer service whatsoever. When I drive up to see if they could service my car, I looked around for anyone to say hi or at least acknowledge me. At least two workers walk right past me giving me a stink face. No "one moment ma'am" or " I'll be right there" NOPE! I stood around walking to look for someone for 15 minutes and then I just gave up. Another day I went to put air in my tires. I drove up to the air hose and an employee walks out saying they charge a $1 per tire for air.. I was like TF.. Ok.. She puts air in..$4 later I drive off and check my tires PSI from my dash.. The lady didn't even fill them with the same PSI. My mother went to see if they could change out her tires. The mechanic told her that someone just bought new tires and that she should by their old ones!! She said that the tires are too small for her van and.. Well.. They are used and won't last long!! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. February 29,2020 around 4 pm I came here to put some air in my tires. When I went inside; there was an Eldery woman working as the cashier that day. When I asked if I can put in air in my tires , she suddenly slammed the tire gauge on the counter. After charging me $4 for air (ridiculous btw), i asked for the receipt and she kept ignoring my request until after the 4th time, she just threw the receipt at me. The lack of professionalism continued today when I went back to the same gas station. I asked to speak to the supervisor, two workers wearing a mechanics uniform started giggling and one guy pointed to the other guy "He is the supervisor"( I found that be extremely childish) As I voiced my complaint to said "supervisor" about the rude elderly cashier from the other day; he rudely brushed me off; telling me not to come back and then threatened me by saying that he will turn the pump off if I ever filled gas here. Check was done quickly, accurately, and all of the staff was super friendly and professional. I've always received amazing service at this gas station so I'm not sure why I haven't ever gotten my safety check here. They're so fast! I decided to come here after Harding Service couldn't take me. The woman who helped me was incredibly courteous and patient, even after I accidentally gave her the wrong documents and had to hunt for the right ones in my car (annoying, I know, but she was really patient and I appreciated that). There was another car that came at the same time as I did for a safety check and we were both out of there in about 10 minutes. I've only ever received above average service here. I got my first flat tire near this gas station and the workers changed it out for me after hours. Saved my night! As a new driver I was terrified. I was never made to feel like an inconvenience in the years that I've been coming to this station. read more

This is not the cheapest place for gas, but it's convenient as the last gas station on Kalanianaole before you get onto H-1. Plus it's in the plaza where Foodland Farms and McDonald's is.
