Genuinely one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. The girl at the front was BEYOND rude. I walked in and asked for the cheapest shipping option. One of the girls looked at what I had in my hand and said it would be $2.50. I said great. The RUDE girl measured the envelope then said it would be $8 plus take over a week. The manager Ashley is the textbook definition of professionalism! The staff is 100% respectful and efficient! Ashley took the time to take 2 of my phone calls about a issue with a package I mailed at her location. Honestly, I was upset with the situation how how things turn out. All of which is none of Ashley and her staff's fault. Ashley and her staff were more than patient with me and took the time to explain everything and what my options were. I have relied on the folks at the AIM Mail Center next to the Publix in Lake Wylie for all my printing needs for over a year now. I have only had good experiences. I send multiple attachments in a single email with the instructions in the email and I have never experienced them making a mistake! I was even surprised by them when I asked them to print a booklet file and they did the folding without me asking (well, they asked the machine to do the folding... the point is they went above and beyond). I have spent the past 10 years with a personal printer, printing only a few things every few months and spending a fortune on ink. Despite using both color and black/white, regular paper, card stock, staples, hole punch and the like, I have spent less than all that ink, trips to the store and the printer itself. The other reviews of bad customer service experiences, consider you are dealing with humans, who may be having a bad day. Also, you are only seeing one side of the story and maybe the reviewer was already ticked-off. If it is a pattern, then that is a justifiable experience. If a one off, chalk it up to a bad day and move on. I have more than 20 positive customer service experiences from many different employees. I cannot recommend them enough. read more

I like the prior employees that worked there several months back. They were fantastic but the most recent hires don't like to look at you in the face or say hello. Is that hard to teach someone? The one time I went in there was no one else in there and I stood there for several minutes before she would acknowledge me. It's not hard to say hello, I will be right with you. Let me start off by saying that I have only had mail (USPS, UPS, FEDEX) items for drop off, and I have not actually purchased something here. Just had an awful experience with someone who claimed she was the owner. However, the card she provided listed Richard Winter. This Karen refused to provide her name and a phone to reach the owner! When I was trying to mall a package, I was asked for ID & a phone number to put it in there system; I asked why did they need ID was simply trying to mail a standard package. Karen, stated " I don't know why you're questioning our business practice, you can just leave". Not only was she rude, unprofessional and disrespectful, she refused to provide anything sustainable to verify why it was a requirement to obtain my personal information to put into her system. My ONLY complaint.... It is often difficult for us to get there before closing at 6pm. If the owner/older man is there alone and it is 5:45 or later DO NOT GO IN. He is abrupt and obviously not amenable to being helpful for an order inquiry or shipping. Sorry but we do not have the luxury of their hours. The young man and lady are spot on helpful with efficient and friendly service!! And no worries if it is 5:45. Our copies and mail services have always been very good except with reference to the above! Wish I had their hours every day!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I just had the most disappointing/ frustrating service experience at the Aim Mail Center in Lake Wylie, SC. I've been a customer at this center for quite a few years. I go there for all my shipping, printing and most office services. Today I went in to get some shipping labels printed. The young lady at the front desk at first seemed bothered by my request to get labels printed. This is a service that they often provide that they also advertise that they provide so I didn't think it would be that complicated. She printed the labels without even giving me a test page or even verifying that I approved of the labels. Unfortunately I felt the need to just accept them even though I didn't like them. I went back after a few mins to try a order some new ones that would actually meet my needs however the reception I received was very unfriendly and hostile primarily from the other gentleman (employee) that was also at the front desk. I'm a paying customer however I felt as if I was some kind of vagrant begging for food. I've been going there for years but this will be my last time stepping foot into that store. Will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

So you have to understand that prices at a small place like this are not always going to be the cheapest... But they do provide a lot of convenience and services that you do not get everywhere else. From a staff perspective, it's hit or miss... Some of the staff seem to be quite friendly while others are rather apathetic and often rude. Generally speaking, it doesn't bother me too much because I'm just there to ship some packages and occasionally drop off some with prepaid labels. 50% of the packages I drop off I have to pay AIM for shipping and the other 50% I drop off with prepaid labels (due to shipping requirements from work). Understandably this mail center does not make money off of prepaid packages but allow for a drop off for convenience.... I have often went in with a mixture of packages and generally speaking they have been kind enough to tape the prepaid labels onto the boxes I have for me without issue. The last time I came in to drop off a couple prepaid packages, please keep in mind I am a regular there and give them plenty of business... I was told that I would have to pay for packing tape to adhere the prepaid labels to the packages. I didn't even ask the cost for this, I just simply said no thanks and left. So now I will go to Walmart and buy some tape and tape up all my packages, which is only fair... And drop them off because of the local convenience for me. The point of all of this is to simply say that I don't mind paying a premium for customer service and for convenience if it's worth it. But for them to tell a regular paying customer that they need to pay for a couple pieces of packing tape in order to ship a package showed me that that level of customer service it's not worth the premium that they charge. They have now lost a paying customer and quite frankly I just intend to use this location as a convenient drop off point from here on out. I will look to purchasing labels and printing them at home and using my own tape here on out. read more
