Two instances - One from May 2021 and another January 2022. 5/2021 - The cost of the package was significantly higher than what was shown online. I can understand within 10 dollar range but it was literally DOUBLE. I noticed on the receipt it had nearly $25 in service options which does not itemize what exactly was charged. I was on a lunch break and didn't have time to argue about price. I went to another UP store and shipped a very similar package to an address much further out and it was almost spot on to what was showing online. Very bad practices and this location. 1/2022 - I shipped paper documents and the woman had said because it is going to a PO BOX it would have to go to USPS. Ok thats find. I was charged $17.44 for shipping paper documents Priority Mail with no extras. It seemed a little pricey and I asked the girl multiple times is that lowest rate and she continued to say Yes. Something told me that she wasnt telling the truth so when I got home and checked the rate online it was $9.89. Nearly a 50% surcharge! Are you kidding me?! I will never be back. read more

Very rude and unprofessional when asking simple questions about their printing service. Clearly very lazy as she yelled around the corner to speak to me instead of walking up where I could see her. I come to this store quite frequently, mostly with my Amazon Returns. The staff - including the owner Lady - is always very helpful and efficient. I never had any difficulties unlike the customer from 3/26/2022 giving a one star rating and blaming both Amazon and UPS for wrong packaging instructions; and for not getting help from the store. In my experience Amazon's instructions are quite clear and UPS will honor them. However, if the instructions say, an article needs to be packed by the customer, don't expect UPS for doing it for free. They have to pay the rent and wages. read more

What can I say bad about this place? Absolutely nothing. There was no wait. Everybody was cheerful. I was given different pricing options. My package went and will be received happily on the other end by my nephew who waited patiently send Christmas to get this. I will come again! read more

The manager lady was incredibly rude when returning an Amazon purchase with specific instructions that they (The UPS Store) would package, label and ship it for out me. She said that I had to purchase a shipping envelope from them in order to for them to accept it. So I asked her why I should have to pay for an error on Amazon's part who has a multi-million dollar partnership with the company she works for (UPS), which in turn she said that was not her issue or problem. Then I asked for her the shipping label they had just printed out for it to which she replied that I would have to print it out myself. It was almost as if she made an aggressive effort to NOT help me in every way that she possibly could with a nasty attitude, tone of voice and facial expressions too. Refused to ship a return of a gun part to the manafacture. Obviously anti 2nd Amen. Made us drive to the other side of town and that UPS said there was no excuse for this location not to process our shipment. ***no FFL is required for this particular piece it was shipped directly to us from the manufacture. Absolutely terrible customer service. I shipped a package that got destroyed in transit. UPS decided to throw the package away rather than deliver the damaged package. No one at the store cared to let me know that the package did not arrive. I had to call the store to find out the status of the package, a few weeks after it should have arrived. At that point I was told that the package was destroyed. and I would not be refunded. I asked to file an appeal, which apparently they did for me. Weeks later I still had heard nothing about the appeal. While in the store, shipping a different package, I asked about the status of my appeal. I was then told that it was denied. I guess they had no intention of ever sharing this information with me. When I asked Carrie, who I assume was the manager, what I could do she told me point blank "nothing". At this point I had received zero paperwork. I was going strictly from what they grumpy employees at this location had told me. I asked if there was a number at UPS I could contact, I was told "No", rudely with no further explanation. When I asked whether I could, at the very least, have some sort of paperwork explaining what had happened, Carrie acted as if I was putting an undue burden on her. She had a terrible time finding the paperwork, while maintaining a terrible and rude attitude. Overall the customer service that I experienced at this location was beyond terrible. Carrie was not the only staff member with a terrible attitude. Everyone else was equally short and rude. I cannot recommend enough avoiding this location. UPS should be embarrassed and ashamed to have their name associated with this outfit! read more

HOLY COW!!! Worst customer service EVER! I would never even consider stepping foot in this store again. I learned something about UPS Stores in general the first (and last) time I went here: UPS Stores get to make up and enforce their own rules. They run their own franchises which are quasi-independent from UPS. Here's the low-down: I needed to send a package to someone, so I brought it to this UPS Store on Union Road. I fill out the address and sign something that says something like "I agree to let UPS send my package" -but it does NOT state that I verify that any information is correct. It is essentially a receipt for the monetary transaction. The lady that typed in the address wrote the address in made a typo- she put "west" instead of "east". End Result: the package gets delayed & the person has to drive all the way across town to pick up this package (about an hour out of the way), after having a slip placed on the door that said that the package was not deliverable to the "west" address. How the slip made it and the package didn't, I have not a clue. I spent a lot of money to send this package, so I was not pleased that this was delayed and caused such an inconvenience for the recipient. When I went back to the UPS store to tell them that they had made a mistake (I verified with the recipient that the address was written correctly on the package), they could not have cared less. They wouldn't entertain the idea of even a partial reimbursement or accepting any accountability. They told me that I must have made a mistake. When I told them that it was the fault of the person who input the address, they told me that I signed something verifying the address was correct. When I pulled out the signed slip which clearly did not state that I verified the above information was correct, they continued to refuse to help me (or even APOLOGIZE!!!). They were SO RUDE! I would encourage anyone considering going to this store to turn around and head to a USPS or FedEx right away. read more

Do not even bother trying to get ANY information about a package from this store. I waited in all day for a package to be delivered. I checked for shipping updates and could not believe what I was reading "the driver attempted to deliver but customer was not available". The liar did not even come to the door let alone leave a delivery attempt card. I called the store and all I got was delivery will be attempted again the next day. They do not give a rats ass about customer service. So now I have to wait in another day for delivery. Useless! read more
