Great little location, staff are very nice at this point, limited hours but I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes

What the hack this location was just shut down wef today, when I wanted to mail something before I went to work. Tomorrow is Sunday then my package would be held for 2 more days. My closest Post office doesn't open till 9:30 am, closed for lunch for 3 hours. Wondering if they want any business. Anyway, don't go to old airport Post Office.

Last Saturday, 12/14/24, I came to this location because a vendor I've conducted business with in…read morethe past had shipped a package to this old PO Box. Aside from mailing a package to Raleigh with an expected delivery date of 12/17/24 that's still not been delivered, I spoke to the same clerk I just had an unpleasant experience with. I gave her the tracking number for the package as the sender confirmed that the package hadn't been returned to her and per her research, the package was still at this location available for pickup. The clerk adamantly told me that the package had been returned to Baltimore though usps.com said that the package was still here. She didn't check in the back nor did she ask me to check at the blue door. She just blew me off the same way I asked if she had Toni Morrison stamps & she handed me Underground Railroad stamps, making a comment that she was closing at 4 pm; it was no later than 3:50, & my receipt confirms this. I was here today only because they stayed open later than the post office closest to me. Seeing how she was engaging with a customer ahead of me in line, something told me to check my tracking number again. The package was JUST returned to sender on Thursday, 12/19/24. When I told this to the clerk as I was shipping an envelope, she said nothing. No apology. Just nonchalantly handed me my receipt & mentioned that the tracking number was on the receipt. Someone higher than the Postmaster for this location needs to get her asap & clean house from top to bottom! The service has been horrible for YEARS with the exception of 1, 2 people at the most. How they are allowed to continue this long is truly diabolical!

This is my go-to local post office, and for everyday mailing needs, it really checks all the boxes…read more Parking is easy, the location is convenient, and the facility feels clean, well-lit, and safe--which matters when you're running errands on a tight schedule. One of the biggest highlights for me is the self-service postal kiosk (that do-it-yourself machine that weighs your package, calculates the postage, and prints the label right there). It's incredibly easy to use and, best of all, it lets you skip standing in line like cattle. That alone makes this location worth visiting. They also have drive-through mailboxes, which is another huge convenience. You can drop off letters without even getting out of your car--perfect for quick stops when you're on the go. On the occasions when I've needed full-service help--like sending certified mail--the wait hasn't been bad, and the staff has been friendly and helpful. That makes a difference. My one wish: It would be great if they added another self-service option to purchase Forever stamps without having to stand in line. That would make this place just about perfect. Bottom line: Convenient, efficient, and staffed by friendly people. If you're looking for a reliable neighborhood post office with easy parking and modern self-service options, this is a solid choice.

I run a small business and ship all my items with stamps to save shipping costs. Both times all I needed were stamps and both times the employees were so snarky to me for no reason. I asked if they could weigh the envelope and let me know if it was too heavy for one stamp to which the lady behind the counter thought it was a good idea to just bend the envelope completely?? She snarled something about it needing a special stamp. A few people have told me before that because the envelopes aren't completely flat, they would recommend a special stamp, but I haven't run into any issues shipping the way I do. I repeated my original question about the weight and she just handed the envelope back to me without weighing it. So yeah i'm not coming back here again! I just moved to CLT too..talk about a warm welcome.
