The UPS Store

The UPS Store

The tracking from 08/12 still says they haven't received the item. And my customer called their store to ask and they said that they 'ship every day' and that I should call UPS. Even my customer said the woman on the phone was rude. The woman on the phone also asked if I got a receipt which basically means since I didn't get a receipt that they have no control of what happens with packages that go to their store. Riiight. This store stinks with a capital 'S'. Pretty sure they threw my package out. Wish I kept it and walked out. What's worse is when I contacted UPS directly (several times), they told me to open a claim. I already did. They did nothing. I also have a premium membership but i'm cancelling that.

Here is the worst experience of my lifetime:- I reached the UPS Store (#4939) around 5.40PM on Nov 4 2024 at Fort Mill, SC to drop a package. A man standing next to the machines shouted angrily "GET IN THE LINE". As soon as he saw me he was angrily fuming. I said "I just needed to tape". He said again "GET IN THE LINE". Thinking he might be having a rough day I ignored and went back to the line(3-4 customers). After a couple of minutes he called me out of the line to the machines next to where he was standing. He looked at me and screamed again "YOU DON'T WANT TO SCAN?". I was simply waiting for the instructions and didn't appreciate the mean reply. Meanwhile some caucasian women entered the store and he greeted her with a nicer tone saying "Good Evening". I felt weird by the contrasting treatment but ignored him again. I scanned the package. He again talked in the same tone "LEAVE IT THERE AND GO". This time I had enough of his behaviour directed towards me. As a customer I expected better. First time I talked back and said "I will wait for the package to be sealed". I was returning a phone and in the past ATT has lost my phone so I wanted to be extra careful. He screamed "LEAVE IT AND GO. I WILL SEAL LATER. YOU KNOW WHAT I HAD ENOUGH JUST TAKE YOUR PACKAGE AND LEAVE THE STORE. THIS IS MY STORE AND I CAN DENY SERVICE. I AM DENYING YOUR SERVICE JUST LEAVE". I was completely shocked at the humiliating and discriminatory behaviour. I tried to reason with him by saying "You have not been talking to me decently since I entered the store". He smirked and said again "This is my store and I can deny service. Just leave the store". I asked what his name was. He aggressively pointed at his name tag and looked at his coworkers and said "MY NAME IS HARI" as if daring anyone of his subordinates to question him. I turned sideways to two employees working at the counter to reason with this man and come to my defence. They saw their boss looking at them and simply went back to their work and kept their head down. By this time I was simply lost of words and stared at the worst discriminatory experience of my lifetime. Just the sheer insult has taken me aback. Looking at my plight a UPS delivery driver said "Sir, please come out I can help you". When I was outside he inferred to ignore the incident. He told me about another closest UPS store (20 mins drive one way in the wrong direction). I have ignored the man twice but I can't ignore it again! After this experience I don't think if me or my family will ever be using any UPS services/stores again, a place where I was humiliated and discriminatory denied a service. I will raise this incident to the appropriate authorities. This behaviour and insult of customers is not just appalling but illegal too.

I prefer not to dress flashy, and as a business owner, that's what I do! I found SCP&D online while searching for a reliable print shop for clients; I frequently have clients that need to do mailers, flyers, business cards, and was searching for a print shop to fill this niche. As I primarily work online, I've never heard that there were different paper weights, or coatings, so I was going in pretty much blind.I called ahead of time to get a rough quote on 1,000 postcards, and whomever I spoke to helped me through the process, with much huffing and puffing. Then I went in person a week later. I'm unsure if the lady I spoke to was the receptionist, but their office was the closest to the door. I attempted to explain what I needed, and was told multiple times that they're for "commercial printing." After I explained my needs. For my business. With a first printing of 1,000. It's not like I was trying to do a fancy garage sale. I gloss over what, precisely, IS commercial, and we move onto what I'm trying to get done. At this point she is agitated, and it appeared that she thought my business beneath her, as she began rattling off the various options of printing, whether I wanted UV coating (which I immediately thought "like...sunscreen?"), and my confusion only made her mood worse. Apparently there is no "standard" either. Again, I was going in blind, to be sure, and was relying on professionals for guidance. Somehow we got through that mess, and to the pricing. Which they didn't have. Because they are a "commercial" printer. I guess other businesses don't need prices, they just throw money for contracts. When asked for a pricing spreadsheet (because I need printing done frequently for different things), she said "I guess I can make one and email that to you this afternoon." This was about three to four weeks ago. Still haven't gotten that email. Stay far away from this shop. Unless you're their definition of "commercial", I guess.

Great place for all your printing needs. My business cards were top notch. Fast easy transaction.read more

I had been looking for a web designer since August 29th. On November 30, 2023, I spoke to Tiffiney…read moreCornish. She and her team are my number one pick with no reservations. TC Creatives made all my dreams come true. Now my website looks better than RogerEbert.com or other websites with more resources. Her communication style was amazing and responsive. I was able to verify her filings with Delaware's Secretary of State, and TC Creatives is in good standing. She had solid reviews on websites like Clutch. While her bid was higher than my prior top choices, she was the only web designer who was confident and had experience with working on movie review websites. She had no qualms about delivering what I asked for without adding a very high surcharge for adding photos, genres, release date, ranking and director/author information to every post. I only requested the photos. When I expressed reservations about the contract, she was willing to make concessions to put my mind at ease, but also did not want my vision to limit her because she could offer so much more than I requested, which she did. She wanted more for my website than I did. She also held firm on adhering to industry standards and patiently explained them to me along with bringing me up to speed on the legal requirements for operating a webpage, which is not my practice area, and ways to maximize my website by aligning the usernames of all my public social media to match my website, which may seem obvious, but was not until she mentioned it. She introduced me to working with other companies that improved my website. Even after she offboarded me, she was still adding features to my website! She created a gorgeous logo, a cute graphic while the page is loading, a clean, streamlined design. She also optimized the SEO and the website's search engine to make it easier for visitors to navigate, organized the reviews according to IMDb genres, added a functional subscription option, created an automatic newsletter, an update and about me page, linked the website to all my social media, and installed the Just Watch plugin. She also provided a way for people to contact me without using my personal information and gave me online tutorials on how to continue maintaining the webpage. While she was working on my website, she constantly made backups, and my website never went down. She made sure that my page was protected with JetPack, which was never fully in sync. Even after receiving full payment, whenever there were any hiccups found, like the wrong photo was used in a post or communicating with other companies to get the necessary information, TC Creatives jumped right in with as much vigor as the beginning. She had a solution to every problem. She runs her business by prioritizing her team's well-being. Her team operates on a four-day work week. They do not work on holidays or weekends. They take the period between December 21 and January 2 off. She migrated the information of around 4,000 posts and delivered a redesigned website earlier than estimated without sacrificing her values. It took less time for her to do all of this than it did for me to find her and/or for prospective web designers to get back to me with the clock still ticking. You get what you pay for, but with TC Creatives, you get so much more. It felt like she went above and beyond her duties as a web designer in teaching me about everything that goes into a website. TC Creatives makes your dreams come true. They give you a sense of security and show that you can have it all: an excellent product and work-life balance.
