Hours say they are open, lady inside didn't want to work hahaha

Arrived at 8:43pm, lady said "we closed", last time I tried them, ordered $42 in food and they would not accept my $50 bill... 2 strikes and your out IMO!

Scallops and salmon poke bowl, customized

I enjoyed my poke bowl at this place but they just give slightly less food overall than other poke locations I've been to. I was still full when I finished though! Ingredients tasted fresh and I like that they didn't charge extra for the seaweed salad. They also are reasonably priced for the protein scoops and give you a decent amount. Also has more variety of protein options compared to other places--you can't always find yellowtail (extra charge!) or scallops. We got ours to go and got our orders within a reasonable time frame. The restaurant itself is also in a great location in the hub bub of Scottsdale, a really nice option for fresh food.

Great fresh ahi poke, like Honolulu ahi poki. I am living Oahu for over 20 years, honolulu don quixote sale poke similar flavor .

One of my wife's favorite comfort foods (and food in general) is sushi and we see poki bowls as just deconstructed sushi so it is a great way of getting more of what we like without feeling like we are getting too much =) Ahipoki has a fresh menu where you get to make your own bowl from a number of ingredients. The portion from scoops is a little smaller than our local poki joint and there wasn't as much seafood variety but for the most part, we were pleased with what we got. Prices are fairly reasonable for fresh seafood and such and portions are pretty good. Service is fast and friendly and you get some deliciously fresh food. Seriously Subway has nothing on them, eating fresh shouldn't be attributed to old deli meats.

Fresh, tasty, and generous portions! Loved the poke bowls and refreshing drinks. Great service and friendly atmosphere -- highly recommend!

Large salad with Kimchi shrimp and Tuna

My go to place for a healthy delicious lunch. The food here is always fresh. I get a large salad the comes with 3 choices of protein. Love the fresh Tuna. Also get the Kimchi Shrimp. Yum. Lots of options for toppings. I pay extra to add a scoop of avocado. Usually go with their house sauce. Always quick service so perfect for a fast lunch.

The salmon was great quality for this local poke shop, some pieces even had that "melt in your" mouth texture, better salmon than some of the other poke shops I've been to in CA. I got the blazin salmon not sure if that meant spicy but there was no spice to it at all. The tuna was decent and the octopus wasn't too chewy. Wide variety of toppings! They are a bit stingy with the fish scoops as other poke shops are. $13 for a large and this is an Arizona location so getting fresh fish delivered is probably a factor of their costs. It seemed like a lot of locals came passing through so I definitely recommend this spot!

Robbin did a fantastic job. She was super sweet, patient, and helpful. Not to mention, look at the gorgeous bowl she created for us! We will definitely be coming back soon because of her (:

We regularly dine at…read morethe one in Tolleson, but found ourselves in Mesa today and were in the mood for seafood boil. This location is a much nicer facility and in a better area than the one in Tolleson. The menu is consistent too, which made it easy for us to order our favorites. I hope you get Gigi as your server as she is very pleasant, friendly and checks on you regularly. However, the two (2) greeters at the hostess stand are a different story. It is obvious neither of them like their jobs and just come in to punch a clock. It would be nice if they at least made eye contact with the customers before they have you follow them to the table they have picked out for you. Smile? . . . that's out of the question, too. We determined by the expressions on their faces their parents probably told them since they graduated from high school they aren't going to sit around the house doing nothing all day so this must the the place they applied to.

We are fans of the local competitor and wanted to see how this one compared. TLDR: the other one is better! We each ordered the Famous Low Country Boil - mine with lemon pepper sauce and my daughter with the 88 Special, a combo of all the sauces. She went with no spice and I went with mild. We also ordered a bowl of rice. We did enjoy what we had but it seemed heavier than what we are used to. We were not big fans of the sausage mixed in and our service was fine, but not amazing. We were also disappointed that there were not scissors offered to help get the meat out of the crab / lobster - we really had to work for it! On a positive note, we did make good use of the wet wipes that were given to us as well as our bibs and gloves. It is quite a messy meal and note that I learned the hard way: don't wear white if you're planning on ordering any kind of seafood boil! Pricing is similar to the competitor. Ambiance is chill but not as fun. I would not rush back, but I also would return with reasonable expectations.

They were busy at around 10:15pm so we had to wait a bit for a table. We also had a large group of 8 but luckily we were able to get seated. Our server did an amazing job with our large group. Some in the group ordered pan roasts and some ordered crawfish etouffee. My friend also ordered clams. I always get the combo pan roast here. It's a mix of crawfish, shrimp and crab. Choose your spice level from 1-10. I forgot to specify a number and just said "hot" but it was not spicy enough for me. I normally get 7-8. I ended up adding in all the hot sauce options that were on the table plus some chili powder. Now that had a good kick to it. Ask for that! Price for the combo pan roast has doubled from before! It used to be $20, then it slowly increased to $30, and now it's $40! It's good, but I can also make it at home and get more for my money.

This place feels like someone at the casino ran out of ideas--and space--and decided, "Sure, let's…read morecram a seafood restaurant into this random corner and call it a day." The result is a space so small and awkward it borders on absurd: a few tightly packed tables, a tiny circular bar, and just enough room to guarantee a wait time that feels wildly out of proportion to what's actually being offered. It's wedged at the end of a hallway off the casino floor, with all the ambiance of a service passage. Calling it a restaurant is generous; it's more like a seafood-themed afterthought. Honestly, it would make far more sense as a grab-and-go sandwich counter or coffee stand. As it is, it comes across as the fast-food version of seafood--minus the speed, convenience, or value. I was there with my 21-year-old daughter and we sat at the bar, which turned out to be a mistake. Instead of even the bare minimum of professionalism, the staff treated the space like their personal break room. We were subjected to loud singing, nonstop chatter, and unfiltered complaints about coworkers and management--all happening just a couple of feet away while we were trying to eat. It wasn't just distracting; it was genuinely uncomfortable. There's something uniquely off-putting about paying for a meal while being forced to listen to an impromptu staff gripe session. With so many legitimately good restaurants nearby, there's absolutely no reason to waste time--or money--here. It's the kind of place that makes you immediately regret not going literally anywhere else. I would have happily waited to dine at Orange Sky, where the setting and service actually match expectations. In hindsight, skipping this entirely wouldn't have just been the better option--it would have been the obvious one.

We brought family from out of town and had a party of 11 (six adults and five kids). There was a long wait, which we completely understood. We spent the time at the bar where the service was excellent, and the kids browsed the nearby shops. Unfortunately, once we were seated, the experience went downhill. Our server seemed to have little sense of urgency. Everything took an unusually long time, but the biggest issue was the food, which took well over an hour despite being a very simple order of burgers, sandwiches, and other basic menu items. Throughout the wait, we watched tables seated after us receive their food and leave while we were still waiting. The most frustrating part was the lack of communication. Rather than checking in or providing an update, our server was frequently visible chatting with coworkers and rolling silverware. When our food finally arrived, it was at best room temperature, making it seem like it had been sitting for quite a while before being brought to the table. We asked to speak with a manager, who said she would look into it, but never returned to follow up. That lack of acknowledgment or accountability was even more disappointing than the delay itself. We declined the offer of dessert because we needed to get the kids home, yet instead of bringing the check promptly, our server spent additional time clearing the table before finally processing our payment. As someone who has worked as a server, I understand that delays happen and kitchens get backed up. What makes the difference is communication, ownership, and making guests feel like their time matters. None of that happened here. It's unfortunate because we've had good experiences in the past, but this visit left us embarrassed that we chose this restaurant to host visiting family.

I stopped by Society Swan for a nightcap after having dinner at Teleferica Barcelona. I parked in the complimentary lot at the mall. Ambiance (5/5): This is part of where Society Swan shines. It's a beautiful restaurant. With speakeasy vibes (although it's not a speakeasy). The bar area is essentially in its own room which is where I sat. If you're dining in, there's a spacious dining area (along with a mini bar). Think deep wood and sophistication. Service (4/5): While they weren't too busy, service was solid. I was greeted promptly and presented with a menu. The bartender checked back in after a reasonable time to take my order. I had to grab his attention to close out. Food (N/A): I had dinner prior so only a cocktail for me on this visit. With that being said, I love French food so I'd definitely love to return to check out the fare. I'm generally a fan of Fox Restaurant Concepts and their flock of restaurants (did you see what I did there?!), so I imagine the food is quite good. Drinks (4/5): Society Swan has an interesting cocktail list, with a good portion of it being martinis. The speakeasy vibes hit here too as you see creativity and sophistication with the cocktails. They're a bit pricey, but overall, my cocktail was good. It's tough for me to say no to drinks with Japanese elements like yuzu. Society Swan is located in the same vicinity as Teleferica Barcelona, Catch, and Din Tai Fung. Quite the corner of restaurants! Looking forward to trying the food next time around.
