Came here for an after wedding celebration and had the best time. HH specials are wonderful. Many rolls (cowgirl and damn good are the best) were enjoyed along with sashimi and spicy edamame. Kirin light was brought with a cold glass which I always love. I didn't catch our servers name but he was absolutely phenomenal. The food and the atmosphere were very good, but I wanted to write this review to highlight my waitress. Emma was one of the kindest wait staff I've ever had the pleasure of being in their section of. She was highly attentive to me and my partners needs and very patient with us when she took our order. At one point there was some confusion over a gift card. Unfortunately you can only use them at each individual location, but Emma was kind enough to explain that and offer her sympathy. Wait staff that can offer good service when you're having a good experience is a 10/10. But wait staff that can still offer good service even in aversion is a 11/10. A year ago I dined in and had a terrible experience, and tonight I decided to get takeout and sadly - still bad. :( my only request was gluten free soy sauce (as I'm celiac and only order rolls w/o soy) and not only was the sushi quality lackluster but I got a pile of regular soy sauce. Just a bummer for a local Arcadia spot that used to be great to be is now super meh. They have a huge sake menu which is so awesome!! I loved the plum and apple sakes and of course their sushi is great. I got a Philly roll: salmon, cream cheese, and cucumber. Also the Hawaiian: spicy crab, yellowtail, cucumber and avocado then topped with salmon, mango, and scallions! Service is wonderful which is hard to come by in today's age. The grilled sweet spiced peppers pair with the edamame was superb. The bar keep was on fire! The top shelf CLASE AZUL was the smoothest tequila perfection and by far my favorite. To celebrate My husband enjoy his Mule Mexican. I perfered my sweet Saketini Lychee. I always try to pick a different chef specialty roll. I was shocked on the complexity of Surf and Turf Roll. Also, the Snow Crab (kani) was real not imitation crab and the flavor were mesmerizing. I could taste the ocean the crab was plucked out of. The sushi here is fresh! My go to sushi is Tuna (maguro), Yellowtail (hamachi). The chef's knife skills impressed my group. Our server Mel (Mellisa) suggested us to try her favorite roll which was the GUS hand-rolled. We even had some of the food come out an hour before the remaining people at our table got food. I've been looking for a good sushi place near my new office on 44th Street and tried Sushi Brokers today. I ordered the crab Rangoon, potstickers and Damn Good roll. The roll was pretty good. The crab rangoon were ok, but not sure I'd order them again. I was not a fan of the potstickers. I was expecting the typical steamed or pan fried, soft pasta-like outside with a flavorful filling. These appeared to be deep fried and they lacked flavor. I may go again just to try a few other rolls, but I won't be ordering any of the appetizers. read more

I will never go back. I understand it was busy it was Friday night , that does not exuse the music and service. I write this from the comforts of my ever so familiar water closet, reminiscent of my previous Costco trip that led me to the acquisition of this double sided Charmin Ultra soft toilet paper which to which has come to my aid on this particular Sunday. Sunday... a day where some spend time with god, others with their friends watching football, or tidying up around the house, gearing up for the week. It pains me to say that I find myself in neither of these categories, I find myself wondering what "Macrodata Refinement" consists of as I gently turn the nozzle on my bidet to help clean up the horrors that this restaurant succumbed me to. Wishing, hoping, that a severance procedure becomes available to civilian use by the time the nozzle on the bidet turns back to "off", for if I could spare my "innie" or even my "outie" from the current state I find myself in, one of us would be able to call this Sunday a success. For those of you who haven't watched Severance or don't appreciate my humor, this place gave me food poisoning. read more
