Came here with a friend for dinner and started off our meal with some happy hour drinks! I tried my first aperol spritz here and it is seriously my new favorite drink!!! My friend got the burger and fries and I got the squash blossom quesadilla for our meals. Both came out quickly and were absolutely delicious!!! I definitely was eating fries off my friend's plate!! This place is so charming! I love the aesthetic very clean, cute, and cozy! I came here with a friend that was visiting from out of town for brunch. I ordered a cold brew and breakfast burrito and she ordered a tea and lettuce wrap burger! The staff was super nice, very attentive if we needed anything. Food is so so yummy, their cheeseburger has the flavor of a smash burger with some spiciness but it's so filling and the fries are perfectly crispy but soft at the same time. The aioli was bomb too. Service is excellent, staff is warm and welcoming and attentive. Ambiance can be chill or dressy which I like. AhbA is hands down the best restaurant in OC. The food, the vibe & energy, the staff (that I consider family from going so much and seeing them weekly). Everything is top tier. The food is always incredible and there are so many options for people with all different palettes. The burger is out of this world and definitely worth the hype. A lot of respect for the employees at Abha. I went there with a friend to drink some water, when I accidentally broke a glass. One of the staff there came very quickly and calmed my nerves by telling me that it happens. She cleaned up a lot of the glass, then her manager George came and quickly swept the broken glass. Lots of props to him, he handled it very professionally and came with the broom and dustpan to sweep it up. Props to both of them for handling an otherwise embarrassing situation for me. Stumbled upon this place when the rest of laguna was packed and we definitely couldn't have been happier. The entire atmosphere is relaxed and casual, with a great little bar and delicious little bites to have during the day. The real treat though was all the food we had for dinner. Extremely fresh and flavorful, very high quality food in such a cute little unassuming place. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful, so we ended up walking around the area and always returning back here for a drink and eventually dinner during our little beach day out. Okay I love ahba, I come here at least once a week on the weekends. Lately, it seems a lot has changed. Malena, the lady at the register, seemed very bothered to take our orders and we had to repeat everything so many times for some reason. Then, our order came out wrong. We asked to remove something for allergy purposes, and the meal came out with it. She also told us one of the dishes didn't come with fries, so we ordered a side of fries for $7, but then the dish came out with fries, so we had to let them know because we wouldn't have paid for a side if we had the correct information about the dish having fries with it. A gentleman later took care of the incorrect order and the charge for the fries we wouldn't have ordered if we were told the correct information and he was VERY sweet about it, but then we had to wait a lot longer for one of our guests food to come out because of it being incorrect. Two weeks ago, we came and ordered a cauliflower pita wrap. The wrap came with literally just bread and unseasoned cauliflower and also came out so late that we got a gift card for waiting so long, and at that point we didn't want to send it back because we already waited for over 20 mins for it so we just ate bread and raw cauliflower. We didn't know that the pita wrap was actually supposed to come with onions, seasoned cauliflower, and a yogurt dip until we ordered it again the next time we came and it came out the way it should. So that was disappointing. It was just kind of a messy and unorganized experience, and it's a shame because it's been like this the past couple times. The rest of the staff, especially the ones who have been there the longest, are all super sweet. But the service from the lady today and the past couple experiences are off putting and disappointing, especially considering it's not a cheap place. read more

I would come back here instantaneously! The ambiance is unmatched! The food was incredible with every dish we had tasting amazing (burger was great, chicken, and broccolini - all so yum)! The service was overall really great. Next door is a bar with drinks and we tried the espresso martini (with a chili kick) and that was one of my favorite drinks I've ever had. No "Happy Hour" specials (though it's on the menu) No branzino (though it's on the menu) No menus available (digital only & our cell signal there wasn't great) Tiny bar at the back that you have to order separately from food (two LONG lines that night) PRO: beautiful location STORY: After standing in line for a drink, I stood in another LONG line to order, while my friend got us a table for our drinks. I had her order... she wanted Branzino... it was on the menu. When I finally go to the register to order, I was told there was no Branzino!? There was no note ANYWHERE that they were out of it and, because I couldn't speak to my friend, I had to get OUT of line to go get her alternative. I was SO frustrated that we just finished our drinks & went elsewhere, where we had a FABULOUS meal on a large patio & were waited on at our table. I won't be going back. I was going to just go for it with 5 but then I remembered a few things. Seating is honestly tough. You have to fend for yourself. Luckily we beat the rush but it was hard to get a spot for 4. If it's just 2 of you, you will probably have less trouble but be careful. I wish they would just seat you & take your orders. Feels really chaotic when you first get there, plus the line to order got nuts when the rush came. Music was pretty loud, but can't deny it was a solid playlist w some good picks on there. (It did start to repeat though after we had been there a while.) Pretty much everything on the menu looked solid & worth ordering, but the menu is pretty short tbh. Kinda seems like they should add a few more entrees on there. Wish I had ideas but seemed like something's missing. Sidenote- parking is sad in that area.
