So excited to discover this hidden gem tucked inside Laguna Hills! Located on a beautiful golf course, Harvest offers beautiful views, as well as an extensive menu of elevated Californian cuisine and innovative cocktails. We stopped by spontaneously for a weekend brunch after seeing this spot on social media, and were pleasantly surprised that it 100% lived up to the hype! One of our favorites was the ceviche, which came with a tasty mix of cooked white fish, tomato, peppers, onion and cilantro paired with fresh tortilla chips, and is a refreshing option for a hot summer Californian day. I also surprisingly enjoyed the bone marrow, which was so deeply flavorful without being overwhelmingly rich, and paired beautifully with their freshly roasted bread. Also highly recommend trying their cocktails, especially the French, which comes with a creative spin of raspberry sorbet and brut to pour over. Definitely check out this hidden gem restaurant for innovative and elevated Californian cuisine if you're in Laguna!

I can't believe I never knew about the restaurant. It is right across from Aliso Creek beach up in an area called The Ranch. There's a beautiful golf course situated in the basin of a hilly area -- the views are gorgeous. Across from the pro shop, you'll find Harvest, a beautiful restaurant with indoor, outdoor and bar seating. First, you MUST try their giant cinnamon roll. We got ours with the candied bacon on the side and I'm craving it just thinking about it! Everything we ate was delicious. They even have fantastic coffee drinks too! Shout out to Frank for the fabulous service! I can't wait to come back soon.

Cannot tell you how awesome today's lunch was. The ambience was a 10+ setting in a canyon with the hills of Laguna Beach surrounding you . Our server, Jayne was most accommodating. It was such a fine dining experience. From the valet personnel to the bus boys to the chef, everything was amazing if you want an upscale dining experience this bus the place.

This is a really beautiful spot. The restaurant itself feels like a nice slightly upscale type of lodge. The menu is really thoughtful and well put together. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. They mention a lot of locally grown produce items on the menu. The Caesar salad was perfect. The wagyu cheesesteak was more bready than I would have liked, but still good. The homemade chips were fabulous. I would get this just to bring home. The apple and pecan pie were really really good. The burger was absolutely massive. Other than the salads, everyone we were with stated that their food was a bit unseasoned. I suggest putting salt and pepper on the tables, if the goal of the chef is to season foods so lightly. Why not 5 stars?? The service was just okay. Our server was really sweet. She tried hard. Little things were missing, like clearing plates. Offering cream with coffee. Refilling or asking for additional beverages. We had to flag her down a few times with empty glasses that had been there for awhile. The busboys were very helpful once we flagged them. I mention it, because that kind of service doesn't match the prices or the vibe I think they are going for. It is still a lovely place, and we will be back. Note: it's valet only.

I was so happy with my experience here! Harvest is located on a ranch. There is a hotel where you can stay and a golf course as well. Parking for the golf course and the restaurant is valet only but it is free. I didn't make a reservation to go in but they had lots of tables on a weekday. They have both plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. The indoor vibes are very warm and cozy and the outdoor vibes are nice with the views of the ranch. In the indoor seating, they also have couches and booths. Additionally, they have seating where they have large windows and it also overlooks the ranch! The service here was great. Upon seating they got us started with waters and offered to move heaters next to us since it was a cloudy day. We also got blankets to stay warm. Their food was also really good! We wanted to try the breakfast menu but got there at around 12 (which is when they start serving their lunch menu), but even so, the lunch menu had so many options we wanted to try. The appetizers and starters all sound good, and the servers are really warm and nice introducing the menu. We ordered the french onion soup, wild mushroom pasta, and the baked lobster mac and cheese. They were all delicious! The french onion soup is flavored perfectly and I loved the cheese on top. The wild mushroom pasta was also delicious. The pasta was cooked nicely and the mushroom flavor was strong. The mushroom itself is really soft and not hard at all. The lobster mac and cheese had the perfect ratio of lobster to cheese. I really enjoyed my experience at the restaurant. After finishing food at Harvest, you can walk a little next to the golf course, or take pictures in front of the mountains of the ranch. If you go during the Christmas season, they also have a huge christmas tree outside the restaurant.

TLDR; beautiful restaurant, very attentive staff, and mixed flavor food. The drinks were delicious and perfectly made. The appetizers were good and flavorful especially the bread, cheese board, shrimp cocktail, and croquettes. The onion soup was flavorful and good as well. The salmon wasn't bad but something within the flavor of the sauce it was drenched in made it off putting. The reduction in the braised short rib ruined the meal and the potato pie was more of a leftover hash brown. The scallops were alright but could have been cooked a touch longer which left them a little slimey. The milk and cookies saved the dessert because they were delicious! Get these and do not miss out.

Such a beautiful place, restaurant has an amazing view! The service here is excellent, Sal took care of us, he was friendly funny and professional, recommended a few appetizers and we were very happy with the dining experience! Sangria was really good! Apple pie was fresh and good!

The location of the establishment is beautiful and our server last night was absolutely lovely. However, I do not believe I would recommend the food to anyone. We started with the duck drumettes, which were definitely the best dish but nothing special. I chose mussels as my main, but the white sauce was way too thick and creamy and wayyy too salty (this is coming from someone who sprinkles and licks plain salt for fun). I did like the bacon as an additional touch, but again I feel like a sauce for this kind of dish has to be much lighter. My mom ordered the swordfish, but it looked very dry and the mashed potatoes at the base were quite bland. My dad liked his burger, but felt his fries were too burnt. I did really enjoy my martini and felt it was the only well-priced item on the menu. I think I would definitely recommend Harvest to grab drinks with a beautiful view, but dinner would definitely best be served elsewhere.

Located inside The Ranch at Laguna Beach, the restaurant oversees the golf course from outside patio. The staff is friendly and kind in preparing celebration for special occasions. The majority of the ingredient comes fresh from its own garden, which you can schedule the tour directly with concierge. Highly recommend the tour to dive deep into its sustainability effort and to get some action at the "chicken theatre". The menu changes seasonally to always have the best ingredients, so you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

In a canyon in Laguna Beach: Simply wonderful atmosphere to have a long, leisurely luncheon with longtime friends. Luckily, We came at a non-busy time. It was so extremely relaxing to enjoy food, wine and conversation at a beautiful restaurant in a canyon of Laguna Beach where we could actually hear each other. The patio setting ideal. Our waiter, Edgar, made us feel so welcome and didn't rush us in any way. That being said, I didn't think the food was overly spectacular. It was very good, truly. I would definitely go there again. Perhaps order that special hamburger that my friend had. She said it was delicious. I had the chicken club sandwich - a great combination of fresh ingredients, just a bit dry. If I ordered again, I'm sure I won't insult the cook by asking for a little extra mayo. Chocolate chip cookies for dessert were perfect. We loved having the actual wine bottle brought to our table so we could see it poured directly from the bottle. Class. And a terrific wine list! See Guy S. review who thoughtfully posted the Wine & Spirit list. : ) Overall it was decent food with superb service in a beautiful setting. Valet parking & a little navigation needed to drive up to find the actual restaurant.

Celebrating at harvest is absolutely the best experience you could have whether it be a birthday or a wedding or an anniversary or just life in general.. It's always better at harvest. We had the most amazing waiter , Sal he gave much personal attention. It was fantastic. A handwritten birthday card was given. The dessert was amazing handwritten chocolate on the plate. The food is so good. It's far a table. They have very seasonal delicious fresh food. The pumpkin gnocchi was so delicious the crispy octopus one of my favorites, the French onion soup, and the butternut squash soup. You must try before they go away. The roasted chicken is one of my favorites and for dessert if you can have the apple pie if you have room left, you must try it it is absolutely out of this world just like grandma would make!

(1/5) The view is beautiful, but unfortunately that's about the only positive thing I can say about our experience. Our food took much longer than tables that were seated after us. Even our appetizers hadn't arrived while other tables that came later were already being served. We had to wait an unreasonable amount of time. Our server was also difficult to find throughout the meal. I asked for a straw, but it never came, so I eventually had to ask a different server, who wasn't even assigned to our table, to bring me one. When our food still hadn't arrived, I again had to ask another server for help because we couldn't find ours. When our server finally came over, he insisted that the other table had been seated before us. After checking, he admitted that they had actually been seated after us--but never apologized. What disappointed me the most wasn't even the wait, but the complete lack of accountability after realizing the mistake. To make matters worse, an 18% gratuity was automatically added to our bill. This charge was not disclosed on the menu, and no one informed us about it beforehand. Being required to pay an 18% gratuity after receiving service like this felt completely unjustified. I'm considering filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because customers deserve transparency and shouldn't be surprised by mandatory charges. The food itself was also disappointing. The BBQ back ribs were noticeably overcooked and had a strong burnt, bitter flavor that overwhelmed the meat. Overall, the food was very average and did not come close to justifying the price. The scenery is the only reason this place gets any stars from me. Everything else--from the service to the food--was disappointing. I won't be returning, and I can't recommend it.

One of the best experiences we've had. The food was amazing, and our waiter whose name I unfortunately forgot was excellent. The ambiance and vibe were relaxed and cozy, making the whole atmosphere really enjoyable. Every dish was great, and overall it was a complete experience. It truly couldn't have been better.

She made the reservation one week in advance. We arrived at 5:00 PM, the restaurant's opening time, and were seated after only a 4-minute wait. The restaurant's interior is exactly the style I love, elegant white décor, high ceilings with stylish lanterns, and beautiful windows and doors offering a gorgeous ocean view. They have both indoor and outdoor seating areas, as well as a beautiful bar. The moment you sit down, you immediately feel relaxed and ready to enjoy the experience. The food quality was outstanding! The Seafood Platter ($160/small) was absolutely amazing. It included six oysters, chilled prawns, Hokkaido scallop crudo, kampachi crudo, Maine lobster tail, and king crab. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. The Charred Octopus ($36) with saganaki sauce, spinach, and parsley cream was a very unique and flavorful dish. The Tableside Horiatiki Salad ($53) was refreshing and beautifully prepared. The Branzino ($62/lb) was absolutely delicious! Since the restaurant specializes in Mediterranean cuisine, I knew I had to try the Branzino, and it did not disappoint. It reminded me of the amazing Branzino I enjoyed during my trip to Greece. The Grilled Colorado Lamb Chops ($84) were surprisingly tender and flavorful. The Lemon Roasted Potatoes ($18) were great. For dessert, we tried the Baklava Ice Cream Sundae ($21), which was a very yummy and the Citrus Textures ($19), which was beautifully presented and delicious. For drinks, I ordered the Ares ($30) made with Siete Leguas Blanco Tequila, blood orange liqueur, hibiscus, citrus, and cherry wood smoke. It was a unique cocktail and a great addition to the meal. I have to say, there were no disappointing dishes and everything we ordered was excellent! The service was also outstanding. Our server Julia was friendly, professional, and very attentive. She gave us great recommendations and even surprised me with a complimentary birthday dessert. Her wonderful service truly made our dining experience even more memorable. Overall, I had a fantastic birthday celebration at Studio Mediterranean Montage Laguna Beach. With incredible food, excellent service, and a breathtaking ocean view, it is a perfect place for a special occasion. The price is on the higher end, but the quality and experience are worth it. It was good, but the portion was pretty small, especially for the price. This place is definitely on the expensive side. The cocktails were SO good though, probably my favorite part. I also loved the warm dates with pistachio -- such a cute little touch and actually really good. Overall, I'd give it a 7/10. The food was a little hit or miss for me and pretty pricey, but the view, cocktails, atmosphere, and service were amazing.

The owner served us initially, and he was really friendly and funny. We ordered a bottle of wine, and some cocktails. We put in some salads and an appetizer, they were really really good. But after that, our server (the owner we were told) left, and another server introduced himself. The new server was inattentive. He sat chatting with the other servers at the bar, leaving empty glasses and empty plates on the table. We had to flag him to come back to fill water. Having been myself in the service industry for years, my biggest pet peeve is when servers sit and chat where you can see them, and when they do come, they don't do a sweep and take care of things on the table. We had to put our empty glasses and trash on a side table. It was weird. The bolognese had hardly any meat in it. It was mostly tomato and onion. I've been to Argentina. Meat is a staple. Also weird. We ordered dessert and after waiting for 5-10 minutes, the server came back and told us they were missing crucial ingredients to make it. The owner came back at the end and was really gracious, but all in all, I think the execution was lacking. The service was not great. The food was 3.5/5 I love to support small business, perhaps we will try again another night.

It's definitely been upgraded with higher end furnishings and a farm-to-table menu. The servers and staff are always friendly and welcoming and do their best at getting to you when it's busy. We love the various types of seating with some family-style seating as well as outdoor couches and chairs to watch the people go by.

When we asked for a larger table we were told they were held for parties with reservations coming in. The entire time we were there no large parties ever came in. My husband's food, a special of the night, came just warm. The balance of the party's food came hot. We were trying to have a pleasant conversation but help kept trying to remove our plates before everyone was done. We are locals in the neighborhood and had been here before the new current owners took the place over. We were disappointed before and tonight was not much better of an experience. Had hoped we would find the atmosphere and service better but was disappointed again. Probably not going to frequent again anytime soon.

Completely turned the food and service around pretty quickly! Restaurant is really nice and the outdoor space is incredible with a sand pit area and everything! Also dog friendly so that's always a plus!! Parking is easy because it's a huge lot! We had NY steaks and the char was delicious and meat very tender! The sourdough stuffed loaf is to die for and the Ahi tower is a must!! Can't wait to see the new menu and the grilled Romaine salad will be going back on the menu! You can thank me later for that one!!

The view of the beach from the rooftop is gorgeous!!!! I came to celebrate my bday here with my friends, it honestly makes a great spot to celebrate any occasion. When we entered the entire bottom floor was empty. Waited a bit and a gentlemen showed up and lead us to the roof top. Beautiful little roof top and place overall. Really clean and chic looking! We waited to be seated for, quite a while. That was the thing. To be seated and have someone take our order, it was a very long amount of time. Awkward standing there while others on the rooftop were sitting, talking and eating. I kept making accidental eye contact to the patrons. When we were seated, it took even longer for someone to come by and get our orders. One of my party members were so frustrated, he stated that we should leave in 4 minutes if no one shows up. Luckily for us, someone did. The girl that served us was a sweetheart. Once she was around she got the ball rolling, made sure that our waters were filled. Let us know when certain dishes were already gone. She was great! No complaints. We got dumplings, bolognese, shrimp scampi and I believe the fried chicken dish. The food was good. I got three large dumplings, and paired with the sour cream. Devine. The bolognese pasta was also wonderfully al dente. Everyone liked their food. You know it's good when everyone doesn't speak. I am conflicted. The servers are nice, the food is really good, but the wait times are atrociously long. It could be because we were one of the last people around closing time, it could be they were understaffed. But it was odd to have a majority of the work staff mostly ignore us. I want to come back here again and try their stuffed cabbage dish, but it will have to be on a day I have nothing but free time.

We came in around 8:30p on a Sunday night hoping to get seated, however they said they had full reservations but the bar had some space. We ended up sitting at the bar, I'm so glad I gave it a chance. The service at the bar was really awesome and the bartender/server helping us was really attentive. I ordered a Paloma and my newly fiancé ordered a spicy watermelon margarita. The drinks were pretty good. I preferred his over mine. The Paloma had a blood orange taste that was interesting. The margarita didn't have much of a spice still really good. I really enjoyed the complimentary chips and the trio salsa black bean dip. The salsa could have had a little more spice. Entrees: we ordered the enchiladas divorciadas and the filet taquitos, everything was really delicious. I especially loved the green sauce on the cheese enchilada and the mole was perfect. The taquitos were just as good with a great amount of guacamole. The portions were a decent size. Overall it was a great experience and price point. I'll definitely be coming back the next time we are in Laguna and I'll be sure to make a reservation to get a table next time.
