We hired three movers to move us from an a one bedroom apartment to a house. We thought we would have received a call after our initial review, but we never did to render the situation so I want to share my husband and my experience. Booking was easy. However, when the movers arrived, they told us that stairs were not detailed even though we told the intake person about it. Too late now since we needed to move. Of course, this drove cost up a bit. Two out of the three guys were okay. One of them was on his phone quite a bit and did not help his coworkers as much. Sort of frustrating when you are paying for three and only two are working hard. We had opted for the wardrobe boxes and we were mortified in how the movers just shoved things in and damaged several items. We got to the new house and they just carelessly did not pay attention to the boxes with the labeling and put clothes all over the place. We were surprised and the lead informed us they had to finish soon cause they had another job to go to. Not our problem since we were paying. We were disappointed to say the least and would have hoped that the company would have called us personally to render this after our initial review. We had even tipped and paid well but were not pleased when we reviewed the work after they left. Long story short for future customers, do your research and sort out the good, bad and fake reviews before you plan your move. We will never use this moving company again. read more

My move with Nomad was over 1 year ago (sorry I am so late in writing this review). After getting several quotes, I decided to use them, and overall it went well. Jen was very responsive and their estimates were accurate. I got 3 movers and a truck. Two of the movers were very experienced and they were fantastic. The third was an inexperienced kid who ended up breaking my dresser's glass top. But it could have been worse and that's why I am giving them 5 stars. Overall I'd recommend them. read more

I am so happy I went with Nomad moving company. They were so kind and their wardrobe boxes came in super handy. They wrapped everything up nicely and didn't damage ANYTHING. I also would like to add I was nervous about paying a company by the hour. Afraid that they would take their sweet time but Max and John HUSTLED. They had a really good rolling container system where they rolled out 6+ boxes at a time it was so fast. While one person was rolling it to the truck the other was wrapping items for travel! Not to mention they were both super kind and professional. I'm recommending anyone who is moving to them. Lastly, while I was moving in so was my friend. She spent 3x the amount i did.... she had a little more stuff but that price difference was because her movers were slow and didn't hustle. Honestly this was probably the worst moving experience I had in years. Raphael and two other arrived 30 minutes earlier than appointment time and without doing anything for 30 minutes they wanted to charge me for that. So when I objected they wasted a lot of time arguing , working slowly and not efficiently. They were not cooperative. I asked them not to dismantle two small beds, but they dismantled one of them and lost special bolts, and nuts, and now I have to buy a bed , The worst part was that they moved boxes randomly without noticing the notes on each box , then after 8 hours of work they asked me a good tip to continue working. This made me very mad and just let them leave. During the day I had to contact the management office several times to resolve issues they made. They moved in a most unorganized way and causing me and my family to suffer a lot. They just dumped almost everything in the garage in my two story house and left ! At the end they wanted to charge me extra, It was a nightmare ! read more
