OK, here is the deal. I tried to get the people to installed the door to come fix a broken spring. Could not get them to answer the phone, and the original store I purchased it from (HD) said they would get back to me in 48hrs. My car is stuck in the garage! I saw the reviews for Advanced Garage Doors here and since they are local gave them a call. They came out to my house in less that 4 hrs, fixed the door (and lubricated it) in about 45 min. time (they had the parts on the truck) and I am back in business. Service was fast, the people on the phone and the service man were very polite and ready to help. This is a great company and if needed, I will use them again. read more

We needed to replace our garage door. On Monday @ 7:30 AM we called Advanced Garage Doors. Erica was in the office and made a same day appointment for an estimate. By 1:00 PM we had an estimate in writing and by 3:00 PM had the contract signed. We went with the semi-insulated door with an 12.9R rating and it looks great. The team came to our house on Thursday, installed the doors and made sure the garage was left very clean. No problem, good communications and great service. My garage door pulley cables snagged like hornet's nests on both sides after hitting a tall obstruction I had left in the track's path (bed headboard) about 4 PM on Tuesday night. I did a half-hour's worth of internet research and selected a local business, Advanced Garage Doors, to make the repair. I called at 5 PM and spoke with Sam, the owner. Someone even answering the phone at 5 PM was a good sign. Sam was cordial and put me on the next morning's service schedule. David, the tech, showed up this morning (wed) and after assessing the job checked in with (Sam?) and quoted me a price of $195. No fuss, no muss, just a solid repair of my cables and he lubed all the metal joints and made adjustments. My opener is 16 years old and now it's working great again. Job took less than an hour and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. And then Sam called me a few hours after David left and asked if I was satisfied with the work. I called after 5 p.m. on a Thursday because a spring broke. Sam answered the phone immediately and set up an appointment for the following morning. He gave me a 90 minute window. Stay Away! Initially they provided decent service for us when they replaced our garage door motors in July 2019. So we considered them again for replacing our garage doors which was a big mistake. Two days after they replaced our garage doors, the doors were squeaking loud and shaking so bad that we called them back to review their work. They never returned our phone calls and when we finally were able to schedule the installer to return, he never showed up. So the owner came and then had the nerve to downplay the issue with our garage doors and say there was nothing wrong. He refused to admit that his installer did a terrible job and eventually made some adjustments, but we will NEVER use this company again. BIG MISTAKE! Shop elsewhere! read more
