This store is a great store for your vehicle needs and upgrades. Jose helped me out with ordering an LED light I needed for my XJ. Once he received it, I went to pick it up and he told me about another style that would fit my needs better. He gave me good information and I decided to buy the other one. He returned the original one and I'm very happy with my new light. Best of all, it was less expensive. They are great people and they stand by their work. Keep up the good work. Octavio. read more

Excellent service, great price and quick installation of car radio. Highly recommended!!

Place is a total rip off they got me for $2,500 they broke the vent on my air conditioner the system stopped working 2 days after it was installed the piece they put in for the double din that was installed was all scratched and they say they do price matching how can you price match things on a receipt that has the price next to one item out of the 5 that were installed I trusted this place to know what they were doing because they are a business but they don't I ended up fixing my system myself because why would I take it back to people who didn't know what they were doing in the first place read more

Upgraded my car stereo to a 4 channel amp and component speakers with crossovers. The stereo had engine noise after installation. Robert ordered a new part to fix the noise for free. Everything sounds good! Thanks. read more

So I went in for a new head unit, backup camera and some speakers... dealing with Tony and every single member of his team was seamless and 5 star quality. He installed an extra camera (came with the stereo), used dynamat with the speaker install and put in a USB on the dash without charging me anything; These were items not even discussed when he quoted me. The install was clean and I'm very satisfied with the price and quality of the work. I recommend highly. UPDATED REVIEW NOV 16th,2017 Had a problem with a speaker...possibly blown.. Tony went out of his way to accommodate me and make it right. I've been referring all my friends to this shop because of the excellent customer service. Definitely a life long customer. read more

Class act audio shop, excellent customer service, thank you Tony for the great job you did on my mustang and your tech was very professional and explained everything so I could understand what my issue was with my car, will definitely be back for more work Great Job guys read more

Make sure they write EVERYTHING down. If not they'll rip you off the same way they did to me. Went from $$260 total to being charged $430 !! Horrible service, the guy walked away from me when I told him to remove a kicker guard they were trying to sell me for $60 straight from kicker sells for $25 and he had allegedly had that included in the original $230 total. All I feel is ripped off from this shop 10/10 do not recommend! read more

went in for speakers because mine had blown. tony sold me a 2k sound system even though i had mentioned to him that i wouldn't be keeping the (old) car; he said he would install it into the new one free of charge. when i came back with my new car he tried to say his name was not tony... and then did not keep his word about reinstalling the system. he also was unclear about the no interest promotion for the first year and my monthly payments, so now i've been paying off this system for two years (partially my fault but he knew i didn't need all that regardless) when i didn't even use it that long lol all i needed was new speakers. 0 stars for tony. read more

I've been going to Advanced car stereo for year and they never let me down. Their prices are competitive and they always match prices. Their work is clean and the kit in my can am sounds great! I'm very happy with their work and would definitely recommend them. read more

Negative stars if I could. I specifically called them to ask them if they had a certain wiring harness in stock. The owner gave me a price and told me they had it in stock. Upon arriving and asking for the product, he then tells me they don't have it in stock. Wth? Arrrrgh. He wasted my time and my drive there. He just said sorry and didn't even offer to order it for me at another date or anything. Terrible service! Would never recommend anyone to come here for anything. read more

So I took my car here and I thought everything was good until I smelled some smelly smell that smells smelly. I look back and my entire trunk was in flames ! After my car was nothing but rims. I had an inspector see what caused the fire and he said it was a bad installment of the stereo system. I advice you never to come here. read more

I have to say, read every review here. Only time I decided to ha e a shop do work I would usually do. End up taking it here for a pair of tv's an amp and a sub. Well end sup they broke one of the post on my headrest didn't tell me about it til I had to replace a monitor a few months afterwards, the first sub I was given blew a coil after the first day. They have crappy workmanship and their prices are ridiculous, and the fact I was quoted a wait time of 2 hours I was there nearly 6 waiting. Do not come here, if u can't do ur work yourself ask friends and family cause this is a shady place. read more

Advanced Car Stereo - Horrible workmanship on headrest monitor install, was never told about it. Do not do business here. - Car Stereo Installation Near Me - Riverside, California

Horrible service!! I went in to purchase and install a remote starter. I was told the installation would take 2 hrs...it's been over 4 hrs and I'm still waiting. When ever I asked for how much longer it would take, they kept telling me the car should the ready within 10 min. The last person I asked was Tony, he said he was going to the back and check, it's now been 20 minutes and he hasn't come back yet. After waiting in their shop for over 4 hrs, I noticed the employees including Tony tell customers their cars should be ready by a certain time and THEY NEVER ARE!!! PLEASE DO NOT WASTE UR TIME COMING. Go spend your money elsewhere!!! read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I got a car alarm installed from these guys. A month later, the alarm decides to stop working. I brought it back Into the shop and they said they would not fix the problem. They said it was the manufacturer's defective product and not their problem. They refused to help me out. Even though they sale it, they refuse to stand by their product. Hands down the worst customer service!!!! You're better off having NO alarm than buying one here. This place is a joke! read more

I had accidentally messed up the settings on my pioneer radio so I had to reset it.I didn't know how to get the settings back to where it was supposed to be so I made contact with someone online who told me to come in.When I got there I totally expected to have to pay something for the service. But Tony helped me with no problem. He fixed the settings and my music sounds better than it did before...all in less than 10 minutes!Plus he did it for free!I will definitely be back and will refer friends and family for sure! Thanks Tony! read more

worst shop wont be going here anymore they cant even warranty my 8" horn speakers I haven't had them for more then two months they just have excuses for everything wont recommend anyone shopping here read more

Got a radio/touch screen Bluetooth from Best Buy. I just happened to look up stereo shops near me & Advanced stereo showed up. Take it in, everything seems to be fine and working but then 6 months down the line.... my transmission won't shift gears. Not thinking it would have anything to do with the radio since they're not connected in any way (or so I thought) Come to find out, they were getting power for the radio via the same fuse the transmission does meaning that the one fuse was having to give power to the radio and transmission which was putting a strain on it and any normal stereo shop would get power from the cigarette lighter fuse lr similar. So I had my dad (a mechanic) hook the radio up to the cigarette lighter fuse which fixed the problem with my transmission not shifting gears. So honestly I would never come back to this shop, EVER. P.S - don't need any comments from the managers/owners or whatever I've had enough problems with you guys already. It's done and over with. read more

I came looking for 2 kicker 10" subs and spoke with Damien he was very knowledgeable and super helpful!! Got some very nice subs for an outstanding price as well, I will definitely do business here from now on. read more

These guys are amazing!!!!! I don't do to many reviews but I had to for this place. First off..... The owner Tony AMAZING ..... The stereo in my car is connected to every dash button possible. UGH..... But Tony went above and beyond to see what could possibly work. Although it was not in my budget he did recommend 2 different customized stereos. All the while HE WAS SUPER NICE AND PROFFESIONAL..... Since money was the issue here and all I rest needed was a blue tooth, he found something for my car. Which is actually fantastic. I even took his advice and added 4 speakers for my husband's car. Thanks Tony. Now for the sales man JOSE. JOSE is the man. He did show me every single detail as to how that customized stereos would look in my vehicle. His buddy as an Infiniti as well and he called his buddy n asked for pictures. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! This gentleman made me feel like I've known him forever. I've never been so comfortable going to any business asking for quotes on tires or oil changes..... Anything that has to do with my vehicle. This place was different. This place feels like a family owned business who take pride in their work and want nothing more then to leave their customer completely satisfied. IM A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER. THANKS TONY AND THANK YOU SO MUCH JOSE FOR WARM AND JOYFUL ATTITUDE. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST! read more

Jaime took such good care of me today ! He explained everything and didn't leave any question unanswered !! This store is highly recommended if you want a great system in your car *two thumbs up* read more

The work these guys do is excellent, but sometimes it takes a little bit of tone to complete. Make sure you have a day off to go down there with what you have in mind that you want done that day or another when you can be there for the several hour long wait. Make sure you hit up Kevin, he's super chill, and is very clear about pricing and the information- he's not steered me wrong, and this is my 2nd time at their shop. All the reviews about this place being full of people who hustle, etc, etc, have some truth to them; they do try to upsell you at any given turn. Keep in mind they are a business, and if you don't like it- go somewhere else. You can always say no, lol. Just my two cents. :) read more

Went down to get my car set up with a little extra sound, was helped by Damien, whom I would absolutely recommend. The guy knew what he was talking about, was extremely helpful and hooked the system in my car up PERFECTLY, not to mention him coming in super clutch, this was a Christmas gift from my mom and if she had it her way I would've ended up with something no where near what I was trying to put in there, Damien knew exactly what he was doing and within 15 minutes had convinced my mom that everything I was trying to do was ABSOLUTELY necessary. Dropped the car off around 12:30-1ish and everything was ready to go by 6:45 and the first time I heard my new system I was absolutely satisfied with the outcome and have been every day since then, looking forward to when I go back and shop for a few extra things once the system is paid off and we have more of the credit line available. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend heading down there and checking out all your options available for making your car a little more comfy! read more

My girlfriend was on the market looking for a car stereo and sound system, we saw them on yelp and saw that they had financing options. Being a college student it's difficult to pay up front for these kinds of things knowing that they could be expensive. I applied for the financing options and got approved and immediately got a call from one of the workers Luis. He was super friendly over the phone and gave me a lot of helpful information. Shortly after this I went into the shop to get some more information in person and check out some radios. Tony the business owner greeted both of us very kindly and immediately started helping her and her search. He suggested many things for her car including things I wasn't even planning on buying, he even gave her some hands on feels for the radios and sounds systems that they had displayed in their store. After spending a little while in there We decided to go with everything he recommended and ended up leaving with what seems like a brand new car. He gave her a great deal on everything she purchased which Included a new radio, backup camera, subwoofer, amps, and speakers. On top of this, with the financing option it made everything super easy and affordable. After tony finished helping me out he handed me off to Luis who was also extremely kind, helpful, and a great employee. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone who is in search for some updates on their car. The customer service, friendliness, and hard work that this business obtains is unbeatable. I would rate this place a 6/5!!!!!!!!! Definitely coming back here in the future. read more

I'm giving them a 1 Star cause they don't communicate with there employees at all. I had ask them if they could put a stereo in my car before the weekend and they said yeah no problem they had to order one part and they said it lol take a day we'll then waited since no call has to call myself to see if it was in and then said yeah it's been here like ok no call or nothing to let me know. Once my car was feeling working on they made me wait outside from 9:20 to 12 and said it will only take 35 to 45 mins they just lie. read more

A little over a year ago I had bought two touchscreen radios with back up cameras everything went well with the installation hours taken to install and customer service well today my back up camera on my 2008 Nissan Sentra decided to take a turn and I took it in not knowing what the cost would be to repair or if even it was repairable but the person who I spoke to yesterday don't know the name told me that they were a little tight on schedule due to shortage of Essential workers he let me know I could take it in today Sunday, December 6 at 9am to see what could be done and if it's fixable. The guy whom I spoke to yesterday called me to let me know the car has been worked on and ready to leave the shop by 11am.The owner was very nice and kind, let me know that the service was just on its last few days of warranty and there was no charge at this time. I'm very pleased with the customer service and how fast they managed to get my car in with no appointment even with limited workers. Thank you very much for what was done today and for sure I will be coming back. These gentlemen are trustworthy and worth the wait of service, nice job done. read more

I've been coming to this location for years and have purchased a variety of products. I've purchased technologically advanced stereos, speakers, subs, amps, wiring etc... I recently purchased a custom made sub box to create more trunk space for my beach days and costco trips. I have rarely brought speakers back within warranty. If I do I know I am well taken care of. None of my personal belongings have gone missing which is something I am leery of whenever my vehicle with personal belongings is out of sight for a long period of time. I am satisfied with the customer service and welcoming environment. I have been to a few other stereo places due to my location at the time but this is my home stereo shop. I got my windows tinted here recently mainly to protect and preserve the inside. It feels like home since I've been going there so long. I'm planning on getting rims next and I already know I'll be getting expert advice on picking some good shoes. I am happy to pay labor costs because I get to experience the outcome when riding around town or along the coast. I appreciate all the work that went into my entire system. read more

Very helpful, came in with remote start issues, found the issue, and also recommended a solution for a future issue that could happen.

Edited review: Updated to 4 stars. Just returned from another trip to Advanced Car Stereo. Very rare that an owner of a company goes out of his way to personally reach out to an unhappy costumer and make things right. That is what the owner Tony did. I was unhappy with the installation and and the quality of sound and he offered to do everything he could to make it sound right. He was gracious and non condescending and I really appreciate that. If you are looking for a new system for you car in Riverside, this location will honestly give you what you want with what you can afford. But most of all they will follow through if you are unhappy with the sound. The 3 month financial plan is a little tricky, you just need to stay on top of the finance company so it charges you on time before it defaults to the interest plan. Ask for Tony. read more
