Love this place. I had windows tinted here over 10 years ago and they did a wonderful job. Never had one bubble or flaw. I just got a new card and went back to them. I asked for limo on all side and back windows. It was GORGEOUS but really hard to see in residential areas at night so I went back a week or so later and asked if they would change the front side windows for 20%. They turned out gorgeous, as well. I was worried it would look weird since the back are so dark but it really does look nice and it is much better for me. The staff was very professional and kind. We were so happy with what Sundown has to offer but their salesman ruined the experience for us. He said that they charge $8 per square foot using the material that we agreed on but the price in his final estimate translated into more than $12 per square foot. First, he refused to tell us how many square feet he is charging us for and after we proved the actual total for our windows, he claimed that the extra $3 is the cost of waste of material. read more

So far so good! I have been really wanting to take my car for tinting to reduce the heat in the car and help me from getting sunburned when driving. I got the ceramic tint. My husband called and determined the price; when I came in for the actual service everything was easy. They charged me exactly as agreed upon. I chose to wait in their little lobby while they worked. It seemed like since I was waiting they got to work on my car quickly. They updated me while doing it too. Just an FYI it does take probably 2 hours even if they start quickly. Our 1958 ranch home has terrible insulation, a problem we cannot address yet for multiple reasons, but we wanted to get our windows tinted to help. I called Sundown after seeing their great reviews and reading many recommendations on NextDoor, glad we did! I was able to make an appointment within a week and schedule the actual job about a week after that. Justin was the rep who came to discuss our options and pricing, he was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions and even educated us on perks we were unaware of. We were able to schedule installation about a week and a half out, the guys showed up on time and we're efficient and quick! 362 sq feet was installed and so far so good! It has about a month to dry but we are happy with what we are seeing so far! I called made my appointment and was greeted with a warm hello when I showed up. The staff was able to give me a time they believed it would take to finish my car (4-5 hours), yes it takes time to look good!!! So I went had breakfast down the street at Brandon's Diner then walked around the shops nearby then sat in the waiting room, watched some tv and relaxed. After a while the receptionist said my car was ready! I took one look and was like "wow"! 2020 Ford F350. Asked for a front strip $75.00. Slightly off however, I'm looking out the front windshield 99.9% of the time. Owner sat in my truck and admitted the strip wasn't straight. Some solutions offered however he wasn't confidant the solutions would fix it. Mind you this was the second time on my day off dealing with this. At time of install they didn't even clean my windows after install, which I was told they "normally" do. So in the end, I paid $450.00 for a decent job. Sundown is just another company catering to big business and doesn't care about the individual customer. Will not be returning or recommending. read more

I recently purchased a new Mazda CX-5 in Soul Red and wanted to get my paint immediately protected. I did a lot of research and came across Sundown Window Tinting. I reached out in regards to PPF for my car and Mitchell was extremely helpful. He walked me through the benefits of PPF, provided me with various pricing options, and was not pushy at all. In the end, I decided to go with a half car PPF (front bumper, full hood, fenders, and side mirrors) and a front window tint and I couldn't be happier. Mitchell and his guys did a great job and made sure to treat the car with extreme care. Mitchell kept me updated throughout the entire 3 day process and had pointed out a few manufacturer paint defects he had found. He went ahead and did a mild polish so that the PPF doesn't seal away the issues he found. If you're looking for PPF or window tint, I would highly recommend Sundown Window Tinting. Third (3rd) brake light was obscured by previous window covering and is a citable offense in California. Set appointment, to get tint replaced (obscurity removed) for $250.00. This is above/beyond the $1000.00 paid just about a year ago. Go to pick up and 3rd brake light doesn't work. Point this out, tech takes it back in the shop. Short time passes, and now brake light works again. Except that I now notice that my limo tint paid for in the first $1000.00 has gotten noticeably lighter. And the 3rd brake light fixture doesn't sit flush to the ceiling of the cab. First time in approximately 30 years as a customer the service was substandard. Not likely to return myself or refer others. read more
