I came here a few years ago and bought a car stereo and set of rims for my truck.. I did the 90-day pay but didn't have the deposit that day.. Tony, the owner, worked with me and helped save the day by fronting the deposit.. we love the stereo(gave it to my nephew as a graduate gift) and the rims look badass on my truck! Needless to say I recently had to come in again for a Viper alarm system for the truck (bad people want what's not theirs)... The Team here were awesome!! They gave me a ride home while they were working on my vehicle and picked me up to take me back to the store to pick up my vehicle.. I appreciate everything they've done .. awesome job on my truck, Thanks Guys!! awesome people and a good company for your vehicle needs .. Stereos, Alarms, dtv seat systems, etc..I highly recommend this place!! read more

I brought my wrx in for installation of some DRLs/turn signal lights. Robert was fair in estimation for price, and the lights were done well and best of all the connection is subtle in the engine bay which I take very good care of. I recommend these guys for sure. Thank you for wearing masks and being professional around customers. If I ever need electrical work done I know where to go. read more

I want to thank Tony for going out of his way to make things right. Immediately upon posting my last review, Tony instantly sent me an email and further called my cell. Tony did not care about the review, he only wanted to make sure that he corrected the issues, that I was completely happy with the system, and to ensure I knew that Advanced Car Stereo was standing by their work. Since then Tony has worked on the system, took care of the issues, and the system sounds great. Tony also called me the day after (Easter Sunday) and wanted to make sure the system was working to my satisfaction and I was happy. What I explained to Tony was its not an issue that defines a company, its what the company does to make it right. Tony came through for me and I am a bid fan of his. read more

This place is a scam. Dont bother going to this place they charge you before they even start to work on your car it should be the other way around. read more

Last week my Sony stereo started glitching. I called their technical support and they told me to unplug my usb in the middle of updating the firmware. It completely fried the stereo and Sony told me it was my problem because it was out of warranty. Went down to Advanced Car Stereo and Tony replaced my stereo and told me he would take care of the issue with Sony. Great customer service! read more

Been going here for over 10 years, Tony and his crew are spectacular. They handle all my installation issues, and I'm picky. They have all the best products and the latest models. The customer service is impeccable. It's always a pleasure to go down there and see what's new and improved. And then have them install it while you wait, or leave it, they'll take great care of it you! Custom Fabrication and installation no problem. read more

So far my new Chameleon headrest DVD player sucks. It won't work thru the stereo or the wireless headset. It cuts in and out. It was installed in a new 2019 Expedition. I'm really upset on the time, money and energy. It seems like the shop doesn't care. I'm taking it in tomorrow. I also have to wait for the owner Tony to call us back. No email or contact. As of right now, I don't recommend. I'll keep you posted. read more

This place has great service. They were super helpful with finding the right stereo for me, and even upgraded me to a better touchscreen stereo for free. Definitely coming back read more

Don't know much about this joint besides the owner Tony is a real kind dude. Bought a stereo a few months ago. The volume knob broke off so I brought it back and he replaced it with a new head unit no questions asked. In and out in literally 2 minutes, never had it that easy in my life. Shoutout to Tony. read more

TRUST ! Some competitor must be jealous and greedy to write a bad review against ADVANCED CAR STEREO. I've been going to Tony for help with each car I've bought over the past 15yrs. I get the best in Installation, Knowledge of Product, and a very good Price. Thank you Tony for operating a Honest Retail Business. Note: Thank you for doing such a quality job with my Wife's car the other day. read more

Advanced Car Stereo hooked it up once again!! There is a reason why Tony has been open this long. He is always out there making sure his customers are being taking care of to the fullest. Straight forward not out to rip off his customers. Like other stereo shops. read more

Walked in to get my stereo fixed walked out with a new one with the help of Damian who was very helpful and very informative. Thank you for all the help! read more

Stay away from this business. They will rip you off without telling you they'll hook you up but get you in the end if you finance a don't they give you 3 months 0% interest. So if you get a 1200 dollar system if you don't pay them off in the 3 months it doubles so you end up paying 2400 they don't tell you that all they care is about commission and keeping they're job please go somewhere else safe yourself the hassle with this business read more

Only shop I go to get all my aftermarket parts/stereos/alarm. Tony is usually the cheapest around and guarantees his work. Recently installed Alpine x409 in my Jeep with hertz speakers and a 10" sub in rear. Sounds so nice. read more

Took my car to these guys for window tint last year. The tint was warrantied as long as I owned the car. The Tint Tech trapped a bug in the tint, so I went back a few days later to have it fixed. The tech was busy but I couldnt wait a couple of hours. I go back almost a year later to get the bug out and was told they no longer have a tint tech on site but they use a mobile tint guy by appointment. I schedule an appointment. The day of the appointment, I think I'm going to be there late so I call and tell one of the guys I'm on my way. He says no problem. I still get there at my appointment time and one of the main guys calls his tint tech to let him know his customer is there. The tech tells him he's about 20 minutes out. Im ok with that because i know how traffic can be at 4 pm. 45 minutes later I check on the techs status. "Oh, he should be here now". Ok, because i don't know what he's driving and there's several cars near the work bay. So I give them another 25 minutes. Fed up, I go outside, my car hasn't been moved. I tell another sales person to get my keys because my time is just as important as theirs. I got my keys and left. They are probably great when you're spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on a tooth rattling sound system or tricking your rig out with wheels and light bars, but if this is costing them money for repairs, your not as special to them. I didnt even get an apology! Thank you Advance Stereo for your lack of customer service. read more

Five stars for this car stereo place. Tony the manager is a very honest guy. I was thinking of replacing the stereo in my suv till he showed me were the auxiliary inputs are for the iPhone. Hey save me a lot of money. read more

Absolutely the best guys around! They should definitely have a full 5 Star! They installed my light bar quick and low cost as well as my PA system! Dude. I couldnt be happier with this shop. Helped me like no other shop would. I cant give 10 stars. But i would of i could . Verry respectful and helpful read more

I found them online and came in. Before I was even in the door Robert asked what he could help me with. Explained I wanted a new radio installed. We went over a few options and decided what I wanted. Quickly paid and got started. Only thing I can complain about is they told me it would be an hour and half to two hours for install but it took 3. They have a comfy couch for you to wait though. Restroom was very nice and clean and so was the inside which I appreciate. My cars radio looks awesome and sounds even better. The owner gave me a great deal, and an even better one for a better Sony touchscreen radio but it just wasn't in my budget. Also I wanted a tint, I wish I would've been able to do it then and there but they have some one by appointment that comes to you which is nice but i kinda wanted it done right then and there. None the less I will be coming back here and recommend my family and friends. Thanks Jose, Robert and Tony. read more

Took my car into this place... Asked for a complete re wiring of the car... And to bypass my factory amp to my after market amps that I had already installed... And to just run the stock speakers (10)...for now into my 4 channel amp...they said OK... We will do it for 300...it's a BMW 540I...I wanted the nightmare over with so agreed... When I got the car back after 45min... (Minimum 3 hour job) ...they hooked up ONE door panel... And didn't re wire shit...there shouldn't be a star rating option... Just middle fingers... Don't ever go there... Go to Pacific stereo for sure read more

I would never come here again they gouge you for your money. Beware look around before you make your decision. You can get cheaper prices

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE AT ALL!!! STAY CLEAR! Please be aware that this place is the biggest rip off in Riverside. I made a purchased here through the manager Jaime and regret the day I stepped foot in this business. Its very sad to know that people think that lying to customers and consumers they will get commission, positions or simply rob someone and keep their job. Tony the owner should really understand that the employees he currently has are hurting his business in the long run. I mean once you mislead someone, make them feel like they are screwed over NO ONE will recommend your business period. I was mislead into a finance contract with promises of no additional interest rates after a pay off of 90 days. It was a lie. My balance for the cheap products that they sold me were worth within $800 come to find out. My balance was around 1600 with financing. The balance after 24 months is $4200!!!!! Again misleading clients will never help your business. Everyday I went to that shop the people that helped me looked at me like they didn't want to help me. After they knew what kind of scam they got me into. Finally the owner Tony attempted to fix the issue swapping items out. We never got the install or the satisfaction of a true good company professional stereo shop. Every day I went to try and get answers other customers were in the shop yelling at the employees upset and were unhappy with the service, one guy even was recording the employees cursing and stating he waited four hours to get something simple installed. How did I not do more research prior to ending up with this horrible balance, experience and debt. *** I hope the owner really understands in the near future that running scams out of your business will put you out of business!!! read more

I used the place down the street but when they messed up my credit when I was 19 and went out of business. I came to advanced and tony the owner helped me out and told me what to do. He fixed warranty stuff from the other stereo shop and didn't charge, just to be nice. Since then I've gotten alarms on multiple cars and stereo stuff too. I recently splurged and bought an apple CarPlay In dash at Best Buy. I forgot to call tony but last minute I did and he got me a 100$ pioneer rebate the Best Buy rep didn't even tell me about. I got the same thing installed by tony with a few add-on things for 100$ cheaper then the material only from Best Buy. I went and returned the unused stuff I bought from Best Buy. I know Best Buy has overhead But I prefer to support small business in my home town. Thanks Tony at advanced read more

Worst experience I ever had with a business. They installed HID fog lights on my Benz and I had to take it back because it wasn't working after a day. I came in before other customers and since it's not a sale, they had me wait 3 hours before they started working on my car. They said it will just take an hour but after 3 hours, this is unacceptable. They don't care about customer service. Typical Mom & Pop shop. STAY AWAY!!! read more

Ya well I bought an in dash DVD player and they installed it. Never worked properly. radio cut in and out and then it started not reading discs. So I went back before the warranty was up and they said they fixed it. But they didn't. So I went back and told them after the 1YEAR warranty was up and the jerk that was in there didn't budge at all, would not help me In any way, cuz the warranty was up. I took the unit they sold me to another stereo place and the offered me $150 dollars credit for my DVD player that wasn't working! advance stereo was not friendly to me. They installed a piece of equipment in my car for $350 which never worked and stopped reading discs in less than a year. And they said they could do nothing about it! I do not recommend to anyone who is serious about their car! read more

Warning. Advanced stereo is composed of thieves who have very little knowledge in car stereos. I took my car here to get a 4 channel amplifier and new 6x9s installed and they managed to make my car sound worst than stock. I argued with the owner of the store and they assured me that my car sounds normal and that it was my amp and speakers that were to blame. After researching this problem I learned that advanced stereo hooked my new speakers to the tweeter wires that only receive the higher frequencies. They couldn't understand how to deal with a premium oem stereo. They should have used a summing converter to converge my factory wires into full range frequencies. I was denied a refund and I had to fix this problem myself. I was out $170. read more
