Stereo's R Us definitely knocked my install out of the park! After calling around SRU was definitely the best quote I got in the area. they quickly installed my head unit and backup camera in under 2 hours. I also asked if they could convert my cigarette lighter to a USB hub and they definitely made everything look clean and flush. One thing I wish I would have done was buy the head unit in store as the install would have been free. Live and learn I guess. Overall I was very happy with the work done and how clean everything turned out. Thanks guys! read more

My 2019 Altima Radio hadn't worked right since I bought it used during the Pandemic. Didn't think much of it until I started using the car more and realized all 2019 Altimas probably had radio issues based on information found on the internet. I couldn't take the way it would blast on its own so I came here and got an aftermarket radio replacement. The radio is really nice and you lose a few features but I am pleased with the outcome and service I received. Thanks to Abe and his crew for responding and caring about my concerns. read more

I went to there after I read most the reviews here in yelp. And I must say those reviews were not false. I called the store and spoke to Abe and asked him about doing a tint in one of cars and he quoted me $45 cheaper than anyone else (I called 6 other places before I called Abe) and the tint was perfect. I also had them install an aftermarket stereo system in my FJ with Apple CarPlay and rear view camera. And that job was PERFECT. They also took care of my CB radio and Scanner for FREE. Awesome people work there. I never felt any pressure and everything was done perfectly. And I will come back to these guys for all my other cars. I really suggest anyone who's looking forward to installing any system or tint TRY this business. You will not regret it!!! Thanks a lot guy!!! read more

Worst shop ever! Fat guy in the front will give you BS if something goes wrong. He doesn't care what you are having troubles with. He'll blame something else. FTG! I hope your shop closes lazy as. read more

Did a yelp search hoping to replace the stereo in my 2007 Honda Pilot. Abe was super responsive and within an hour my new stereo had been installed. Great Customer service! Would definitely recommend Stereo's R Us. read more

They have done 2 of my cars thus far and will be coming back for my 3rd. The owner Abe is easy to talk to and will work with whatever budget you have in mind. I had previously shopped around at all the other audio shops on this street and Abe had the best prices and I felt the most comfortable dealing with him. Additionally, the set up I went with for my second car is way cheaper than piecing it together from crutchfield.com. The installers are also friendly and don't mind talking about car stuff. I had a sub, amp, and wiring kit installed and that took about 45 minutes with another 10 minutes to fine tune the equalizer. It might have a small show room but if you are looking for a specific brand/model, Abe will be able to get it for you. Bottom line- stop wasting your time going to the other audio shops, and come here first. read more

I'm a returning customer to these guys and brought my recent new car to get a new stereo. The dude in the front helped me out perfectly and told me the best radio they have that is good for my car. I got the kenwood over other stereos because of money wise. So I came back the next day and they installed my car for me in less than 2 hours. Total plus installation came out to $800. I believe the price is slit for the stereo and the installation but after thinking it again, you get what you pay for. The radio works fine, the Apple car play works amazing, including playing Spotify. And the backward camera works as well. Nothing wrong with it and I'm happy with my purchase. I would recommend these guys to anyone. They are pricey but they are not playing you around and want to help you get the best stereo, speakers, and other options. read more

I called several stores and these guys were friendly over the phone. Their prices were reasonable and it was easy to work with them. I said i would wait for the install and the tech said he would put two guys on the job to finish quicker. That is service! Definitely will be coming back for any future car stereo purchases. read more

It would have been nice if you took the time to actually look and listen to what i asked you for instead of the wrong mounting kit causing me to drive another 30 miles round trip and going somewhere else to get the right one $168 isnt a lot of money for a stereo im sure people spend way more than i do was probably nothing for ya but i drove to you since you had given me a deal in the past i wasn't expecting the same price or anything but you were pretty unimpressed with my buy like a bother dude down the street at American stereos was a heck of a lot more welcoming and took the time and made sure he gave me the right one the stereo works great sounds good you also gave me the wrong antenna adapter lol like geeze man ill give ya 2 stars since the stereo works read more

These guys fixed the issues I had previously with another audio shop (see my past reviews). I can't thank these guys enough! Shoutout to Abe and George for their tremendous work. The issue I had was this whining noise coming from the front speakers or tweeters, sound would cut off from time to time, and there would be little to no sound in the rear speakers and amp wouldn't work properly. I stopped by three hours before closing time, told them about my situation and then George, their audio technician, wanted to check out the wiring before he got started. Immediately, off the bat George diagnosed the problem and figured out that the previous audio shop used the wrong wires. Abe gave me a fair price for labor. They told me it'll take two hours, but they finished within less than an hour and a half! Incredible! I came to pick up my vehicle and Abe showed me they made a better placement for my amp and ran new correct wires. Now my component speakers and amp sounds freaking amazing because of them! Thank you so much Abe and George. You've earned a new customer and I will definitely be returning for a future upgrade! I will recommend these guys to friends and family. They are worth the drive. Trustworthy and excellent service. read more

My son loves his older car and since I couldn't talk him into an upgrade, I suggested that he at least upgrade the stereo system. This place had fantastic reviews so I messaged and got a round about quote for a new stereo with hands free calling, Bluetooth, and a backup camera. I ran it by my son and then made an appointment for him to take it in. He said he received very good service. They helped him choose a good system and it was installed in about an hours time. He is happy with his purchase and as a mom, I feel better knowing that he has these upgraded features that can help keep him safe while driving because no matter how old they get they will always be our babies. He's happy with his purchase and overall experience so I would definitely reccommend Stereo's R Us to anyone that asks. read more

Definitely won't be returning back to this shop. Came for a simply swap. Just transferred my old system from one car to another and I should had went to the shop where I gotten my first installation they were busy. So I hoped on my phone trying to get quotes of what I needed within my time frame, So found this shop on Yelp and I received a message from the owner and he could do what I asked and at a discount which was great and got me in the door, I compared their prices compared what the other is the price could not beat. So I pulled up and parked and to be the only car bad sign in the parking lot. But he took a quick look at my car and said yes let her started snd go in and sign the deal. After all that was said and done I ended up paying 100-200 more than was I was originally quoted before! And that was before I even went to my car to hear what it sounded like. Once I went out to my car and heard my beat I wanted to cry. Sounded horrible!! I should I kept what I had. And I told him is it up all the way and he said yea it's just the song your playing so you can hear it. I was just so pissed and was ready to leave and hate that I wasted my time and money. Lessened heard to always go with what you know and take your husband or boyfriend with you ladies so you won't be taken advantage of. read more

I wanted to wait a few months before giving a review, to actually used and listen to my new system that was installed. Chevy 07 crew cab Silverado. List of things installed: head unit, 4 component speakers, 1 powered sub, and an amp. The install of all these things went perfectly, the amp and powered sub was set perfectly under my back "pull up" seat of my truck. Clean wiring placement. Sound? Night and day difference. I am very happy coming here. Price? I used Yelp app to find rates and quotes. I came here due to other positive Yelp comments and quoted price. Management and staff was very professional and answered all my questions. The owner did a final run through of the system, checked both audio and video with me. He wanted to make sure I was happy and satisfied. Thanks again!! read more

They overcharge you for radio installation and they use cheap materials do not recommend this place....

Abe did a fantastic job getting me a new radio, Amp, sub and box, as well as installation. All for a really good price, which other stores most likely can't beat. I was in need of a new setup, as my stock setup sounds like tin can. They did a good job, fast, and very clean install. I definitely recommend you guys stop here before you go to other stereo shops. read more

I cannot express how pleased I am with Stereos R Us. Even more with Abe and his installation crew. I have been researching and researching double dins for my '08 Tacoma for well over a year. My biggest "fear" was the cost of installation. Abe really worked with me to get exactly what I wanted but not break the bank. My install took just over an hour and it looks great. After leaving the store, I discovered a couple little things I need tweaked and will contact them about it. That is why I am only giving 4 stars... for now. I am 100% certain they will take care of them and I will follow up this note after to share my outcome. Thanks Abe for having such great customer service and I look forward to giving you my business in the future! read more

I didnt feel like traveling to S.B. or Pasadena to get some audio equipment installed. I turned to Yelp and gave Abe and Stereos R Us a try. I must say I am happy I did. Great service, fast work a fair price also gave me a good deal on some rear speakers and an alarm. The installer knows his stuff, and the work was clean. I will recommend to anyone looking, dont hesitate to get a quote. These guys know about car audio. Thanks for the positive vibe and experience. read more

Brought my old cassette player car into this shop to upgrade to a Bluetooth/CD stereo. Carlos immediately greeted me and was super patient, explaining to me the different options they carried for stereos. I contacted Abe through yelp and he was able to quickly give me quotes regarding a new head unit for my car. I asked him about several head units and he gave me his honest opinions on the models and recommended the best one based on what I was looking for. I was looking for a shop to put a back up camera on my 2004 Toyota Sienna. I asked for a quote thru YELP. I'm glad I went to Abe and he hook me up with a new stereo with back up camera, Bluetooth and Apple Carplay for a very good price. The other shops where charging almost the same amount but they will only put a back up camera using a rearview mirror. This was definitely a no brainer for me. Also Abe Honored the coupon on YELP. If you're looking for a Stereo shop Stereo R Us is the place to go. Highly recommended and I will definitely come back in the future. Thank you Abe for hooking me up. read more

Not enough good things to say about this place! I was the first appointment of the day so they got me in and out very quickly. Everyone was nice and laid back. Long overdue review. I bought a video in motion bypass for my Escalade. After reading the instructions, it seemed a like a complicated process that would take a few hours to complete. Prior to coming to Abe the owner of Stereos R Us I shopped around. Abe had the best prices and the best equipment for what I was looking to get installed. He was very knowledgeable about installation techniques, which was very important to me in addition to cosmetic appearance. I will be taking my husband's car back tomorrow to get the same installation setup that I received a few days ago. Awesome company, awesome service, awesome price!!!! Very seldom do I see the need to write a review as many Yelpers already mention all the positives and negatives of any business, but after this experience I thought I'd share my experience. Abe is a wonderful salesman with a good sense of humor, sometimes cough cough. Not once did he push for a bigger sale. He gave me what I wanted along with many other options in my comfortable range without pushing for the bigger package. I was really satisfied with how he helped me which led to me wanting to support this business more. With a brand new less than one week old car I was skeptical of all mechanics as I heard of the horror stories of ABC hack jobs and skimping on quality to make a buck off of you. Last thing anyone wants is a damaged new car and this is also valid for any car, who wants a hack job? Jorge, the mechanic who worked on my car, really impressed me and I hope many only mechanics learn from his ethic. He treated my car as his own and thought what kind of job do I want on my car? As a result everything was flawless, no scratches on the door, no dents to be found, the car literally looked untouched but the amazing sound showed the quality this establishment put forth. Thank you Abe and Jorge for the quality work and keep up the good work. I will definitely recommend anyone who is hesitant about having their car audio done come here for true quality. Oh and did I mention that they actually have the "correct" tools to remove parts in your car? Not some random screw driver on plastic to save money. read more

These guys are the best in town. The best customer service from the beginning. I was looking for audio shop in town that were knowledgeable and weren't trying to scam me. Every time I contacted other shops, they were rude on the phone, like if they don't like money or something. I contacted Stereo's R Us and Abe was able to answer all my questions. My car is a special case (Honda CR-Z Ex with Stock Nav) because they do not make any double din frames for it and other shops and online forums were saying that it was impossible unless you retro fit it with many additional parts. These guys were able to install my radio, back up camera, and steering control with no problem and at a reasonable price and I was also able to just walk in with no appointment. read more

There is one review that mentions an unpleasant experience and being taken advantage of. I second that review and have attached the work that was done on my vehicle. I went here to have an aftermarket stereo installed and they left important controls including controls that adjust the mirrors inside the dash. There is also wiring that was hanging by the accelerator and break, which could have been dangerous if I had not noticed. Additionally, after having the original stereo swapped back in later on, i had found out that the module which was supposed to be installed with the aftermarket stereo, was never installed by them. Just passing this along to anyone new who is looking for honest work. read more
