They were pretty busy and couldn't get me in until next week, but instead of just sending me on my way, the guy working there took the time to help me out. He checked out the camera I bought and let me know it was the wrong one for my setup. He told me exactly which one I needed and didn't pressure me at all to buy from them or pay for an install. I called up Jose to get some advice on removing a dealer-installed KARR alarm system. On a side note: don't install this junk in your car...ever. The car honked every single time when starting, and the dealership associated it with a faulty air bag and a $$$ expense. Back to Xtreme. Jose removed the whole thing for a reasonable $, saving us some of our Saturday morning and the chance I'd snip the wrong wire and explode the car like you see in the movies. This is the first time I've written a review for a company l didn't even buy anything from, but they were so helpful that I just had to. I recently bought a car that didn't have a CD player and I wanted to add one. The dealership told me they could do it and it would cost $900. they showed me pictures. l thought that was a bit much and decided to check elsewhere. l went to Xtreme and they said they had the exact same model for $200. but they didn't stop there. I came here because of the Yelp reviews, but I wish I didn't! I paid for a stereo and a backup camera along with installation. The price seemed high, but I figured they have good reviews it should be worth it. When I received the car back the first time... they put in the wrong size frame, thinking it was OK?! It was too small there were gaps and you could see the glue. And it wasn't even flushed with my dashboard. the camera seemed fine until it wasn't the very next day the rear camera fell out of the socket that they created. When we took it back they replaced the frame with the correct size I still think its crappy craftsmanship the gap is gone but its still not flushed with the rest of my console. They "fixed" the camera... temporarily because it has fallen out AGAIN!!! AND when we got the car back the 2nd time the airbag sensors were going off on the dashboard. We informed them they said "oh it'll go away when u start driving it. Its been months now and its still on...!! now i have to waste MORE GAS AND TIME AND TAKE IT BACK A 3RD TIME!!!!! I recently bought an auto stereo system from Crutchfield and had Xtreme Autosound install it. I upgraded my factory system to a Kenwood receiver with Kicker door speakers and a JBL BassPro Nano subroofer. I am very pleased with the final outcome. It was installed in a 2012 Tacoma Prerunner Access Cab. Crutchfield included all the necessary hardware/wires to make the installation easy for the installer. I came here for help on speakers that I got done by another company in Laverne spent well over 8500+$ to come to find out, they used sprayed aluminum copper wire, thanks to extreme audio. They were able to fix it and make my speakers work like brand new, other shops in the area we're trying to charge me a crazy amount to diagnose the fee while this Shop charges me a very low fee to fix the problem, I really appreciate everybody at extreme audio.
