There was some confusion where the line starts inside the cafe. Opted for the croissant breakfast sandwich with a beef patty. The breakfast sandwich was tasty and gigantic. The latte was also tasty too. Came back to try the tiramisu as an afternoon snack and it wasn't super fresh. It was decent, although on the pricier side at $7.50 each. Staff were all dressed in white t-shirts

The meal options are all on laminated pages instead of on a big board, but they did have a lot of good options. We started with regular drip coffee which was ready quickly and we could sweeten to our liking. We tried the house breakfast which was two eggs any style (got them fluffy and scrambled), crispy bacon, cheesy potato fritters with tomato jam (similar to ketchup), and sourdough bread (we asked for butter) it was all very filling and some nice spins on a traditional breakfast. The bakery selection is out of this world - from breakfast pastries to delicately crafted desserts. The cinnamon and pecan rose was just like the center of a cinnamon bun, which was fantastic. It was big enough for two people to indulge without overdoing it. There weren't a lot of outlets, so not ideal for long term laptop use, but the food came quickly, it wasn't too loud even with a ton of people coming in and out. The prices were reasonable, and everything tasted amazing.

Overall the food is not the best in Boston but I have enjoyed the food at Anoushella, Far out ice cream, and Union Square donuts. Seating is open and most of the businesses deliver your order to your seat. Trillium brewery is right next door which is excellent. There are events on the lawn in the summer, such as movie night and flea markets. Would recommend more for ambience and location than the food.

Whether it's day time or night - summer is here and it's all happening at Time Out! This evening we came around 7 for the movie night and actually caught the last and most exciting nail biting finish of the Paraguay- Germany matchup!! After that was the movie - 'She's the Man' - very appropriate soccer movie! It was a fun rom-com and the whole crowd enjoyed it! And then afterwards was the next match! Beautiful evening- I'm sitting here on a blanket on the grass as I'm writing this. Cool evening perfect temps tonight - enjoying this very much! They're also showing the match inside. It's nice because you can get food from inside and there are restrooms. So it's all very convenient and what a great location! Looking forward to many more fun summer activities here at Time Out! So glad they stayed open!

The chocolate chip walnut and coconut caramel were both very good - not too dense or airy, tender crumb, and melty chocolate. And in Boston, I did just that. Levain is perfect and in my selfish definition, the BEST chocolate chip walnut cookie out there. We managed to visit twice to get our fix. Altogether we ordered the Cookie Milk Latte, an Iced Chai Latte, 1 Black Iced Tea, Raspberry Pistachio cookies, the OG Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookie and the vegan version. The cookies here make me drool every time. They are a mound. The chewiest pocket of cookie perfectly baked. Every bite feels like heaven. The raspberry pistachio was a fun summery add, it tasted berry-good with creaminess from the pistachio. Service is quick, line up and someone will help you; everything moves pretty smoothly. And they have outside seating available as well as 4 bar stools by the front window. Thank you for existing Levain!
