When my wife and I finally decided to have a in ground swimming pool installed I went to work! I'm the kind of person that over researches projects at my home, especially BIG ones like a Swimming Pool! I met with 7 yes! SEVEN pool contractors (6 too many) 99% of these so called pool builders are nothing more than "front men" with NO employees, NO equipment, all they are someone trying to make 20% more than you need to spend! They Sub Contract out EVERY PHASE OF THE JOB! And 99% of their licenses had issues when I checked "on line" with the California State contractors license board, no insurance, violations etc.. Adams on the other hand was/is squeaky clean and they hold many licenses, not just the pool contractors license! I had previously known that Adams Pool Solutions did pool resurfacing and I decided to call them and ask for a recommendation for a pool contractor! To my surprise they told me they are now and have been for many years building NEW pools...TG I made that phone call. I first met with their lead sales person Mike Hopkins and he's a true professional, NO BS! and we immediately became friends and more importantly my wife and I decided to go with Adams Pool Solutions. Mike did many "3-D" renderings of my yard and we could visually see what the pool would look like...Wow this was really cool as we made changes to the design even before the 1st shovel full of dirt was removed. REALLY HELPFUL!! Adams on the other hand employees nearly 90% of the entire job. They have all their OWN equipment and licensed employees. TRUST ME THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT ! Adams did everything except the finish deck material around the pool and the excavation. Even though they Sub this work out you would think IT'S "their guys" as Mike is "on them" the entire way! Like every Big project there are always hiccups along the way....Mike was always there to hand me a glass of water :-) Now a little INFO regarding their company. Any schedule issues were handled by their office manager Rosi who took care of everything Fast and Professionally. If I ever had an issue with something I called Tony Adams directly on his cell phone, this is truly refreshing that an owner of a big company is available on his private cell phone and actually answers his own calls and handles issues himself! THIS BLEW ME AWAY....TONY IS AWESOME! I truly didn't know how much work was involved installing a new pool...WOW...A LOT! After the DIG....I looked at my back and side yard which by the way....get ready...it's a war zone! When I asked Mike....how much longer will this take? He looked at me and said..."we are really good at making a mess and even better at putting it back together....WOW was he RIGHT ABOUT THIS! When they started the job Mike gave me a completion date and they came in a WEEK EARLY! By this review you might think I work for Adams but I Don't !! If your thinking about a New Pool I would recommend you call Adams and have them put you in contact with Carl in Novato Ca. Pool completed the very end of 2012 and they will give you my telephone number and your invited to come see our New Oasis. In closing its very important to me that when I had questions/problems....which trust me you will no matter who you decide to have build your Pool....Adams answered ALL my questions and ALL issues were resolved/fixed within 1-2 days...YES....1 or 2 Days Max! Their "in the field" person assigned to my job after completion was/is Mark M. and he's GREAT! Mark explained to me how the equipment works, how to adjust the equipment if necessary (which everything works perfectly) and is always available for questions or concerns. Once again....I totally "OVER" RESEARCHED THIS POOL INSTALL. I SUGGEST, RECOMMEND AND MORE IMPORTANTLY TRUST ADAMS POOL SOLUTIONS Carl G. In Novato California. read more

We would've been happy to get a quote from Adams Pool Solutions but still haven't received a call back - left a message with a nice gal on Monday....it's Friday now. Apparently they don't need or want the business. Even if a business has no time to do a job, a courtesy call back to say just that is appreciated. read more

We recently had our pool resurfaced by Adams pool. Jose was our main contact. He did a great job keeping us in the loop. He answered the phone nearly every time we called him or he got back to us right away. They did an excellent job! They were quick, careful, knowledgeable, and did a terrific job cleaning up. They used a hydro blasting technique to remove our old plaster. When they reapplied the plaster, we asked them for a dark plaster that creates a "Tahoe Blue" color effect. We are very happy with the gorgeous look of our pool! We highly recommend this company. read more

We signed our contract for a new pool right before covid hit and businesses had to close. Our designer/salesperson kept in touch with us the best he could even though we knew there were delays happening. Once construction reopened, they were very quick to get things going and to catch up since our project was already behind. The project ended close to the estimated time of pre-covid so we're were happy to be enjoying our new pool for a portion of the summer. The work was excellent, the communication was good, could have been better at times, but the scheduling always tended to work in our favor. It is construction so we understand delays, permits, inspections, etc. If we ever had to put in a new pool, I would recommend Adams, they came right out of the closure and gave us a great pool in a very reasonable amount of time. read more

Adams Pool just completed the remodeling of my pool, it made our dream come true! Our pool was at least 30 years old, it had lots of problems. Finally we decided to remodel it. I contacted Todd, the sales manager of Adams Pool. He was very nice and provided us several solutions and explained us the details. We met many times, in his office and my house. The price was very reasonable compared to quotes from other company. The project started in late may, I worked with Chris, the superintendent of the project and his crews closely. Chris is a real professional, very knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. He is creative, and gave us a lot of good ideas and suggestion to make the pool looks better. He spent times to check the details, and tried to find any potential issues and fix them. He mentioned to me, "this is not only your pool, it is mine, too". His crew shares the same attitude, they were well orgnized, talented, hardworking and never cut the corner! It was fun to watch them working, believe me, likes a magic! It was joyful working with Chris and his crew, I have learned a lot from him. I am more than happy for the job Adams Pool completed, my pool looks like charm now! I highly recommend the Adam Pool Solutions! read more

We were introduced by a friend to the folks at Adams Pools. We sat down and talked with the owners in regards to how we wanted our pool and patio remodeled. After a bit of time, our ideas were not just on paper but on the laptop screen as well! We were able to see what our pool was going to look like before the work even started. It was exciting! The pool and patio work came out better than we had imagined. The estimated time frame was longer than it actually took to finish the project. My wife and I have, and always will, recommend Adams Pools! They're great! read more

POOR customer service model! Adam's resurfaced our pool in March of 2019 and inadvertently threw out our pool light, which we wanted to reuse. They gave us an "old" one they had in their warehouse, which was fine with us. When the job was done, we noticed that the light kept flipping the breaker. It was difficult to get someone to come out an look at the issue, it took a couple of months. When someone did finally come out they said that it was a warranty issue and Naomi would follow up with us...no one ever called. I have since followed up a crazy amount of times, and been bounced between Nancy, Martha, and Kim. I have to explain the situation all over again to everyone I talk to. They are all very nice on the phone and seem empathetic, but there is ZERO follow-up. Here we are more than a year later and there has been no resolution. I guess since they have all of our money, they feel very little responsibility for ensuring that we are satisfied customers. read more

Adams did a quality job on the pool hardscape remodel. They were at times a bit disorganized/out of synch between their different contact points, but did an overall quality core job. However, they apparently made a mistake quoting the related electrical work. Instead of resolving they did a very subpar job on the electrical work and tried to sweep it under the rug. They did not stand behind their quote or make sure the problem was resolved. I will hire someone else to complete the work. Very unprofessional and disappointing for what could have been a 4-5 star experience. read more

My friend, my neighbor and I need help remodeling our pool/backyard. I can't even get a phone call from these people. I have been assured by the office staff (Kim), after 2 phone calls and two emails, that John will be contacting me. It's been over two weeks... We will go with a different, more responsive, company. read more

These guys came highly recommended from a friend who had used them on his pool, but I wasn't impressed. They were great in the quotation process and gave off a very professional air, but once I signed on the dotted line, their backlog of work suddenly multiplied so that it took months to even get the work started. They weren't clear about what needed to be done before accepting the proposal (I could have gotten in the queue for work before selecting tile and coping), and it was just headache after headache. Then, the work teams do not have their shit together. It took almost a month for a two week job and they wouldn't always let you know if they weren't going to show up (or if they were). I came back home the night they finished and if I hadn't heard the water running out back, I never would have known they started filling the pool. What a nightmare! I would definitely consider going with another company, especially if you are in a time crunch. read more

It's a shame that what I am about to write has already been written by so many others. It's almost shocking that so many people have had the same experience in the last 4 months. I wish all those reviews had been up when I signed my quote in the spring. Adams has failed me at almost every level and in almost every phase of this job. Their quote timing was 100% wrong. They put the wrong stone in place on my retaining walls. They tried to bill me before phases were even started. They left the safety fencing around the pool/yard down when the left for the night. Their job site (my yard) was left looking like a trash heap for 1.5 months. And almost worst of all, their communication about what was being done and when it was being done was horrible. When I first planned on writing this review I was going to give them 2 stars because after all the hassle of the last three months, the pool and retaining wall look good, but then I found that part of the plumbing was done wrong and was leaking under my new concrete into a flower bed. So, down to one. On top of that, now that I have actually gotten in the pool, the new surface is not plum (uniform and smooth/level). Instead of it undulates on the walls and floor. I have written their GM and he seems to be looking into the issue which I appreciate. read more

We are very happy with Adams Pool. Their beautiful showroom in Pleasanton gave us ideas for what our finished pool would look like. Their sales rep Michael was great. He didn't try to over sell anything we didn't need. Very knowledgeable about pool remodeling and always answers his phone even while on vacation. We updated our pool to Pebble Plus and added new tile and accent pieces to our steps and jacuzzi. Sergio was excellent on adding a new stone spillway from jacuzzi to the pool. He was an artist in matching the color to our existing stone. Jeromy, who was the field supervisor, always kept me informed of day to day scheduling and returned my calls ASAP. The demo crew was great an never left a mess. Adams was also done ahead of schedule. My wife an I couldn't be happier. read more

I have called Adams Pool three times in the past week to set up an appointment for an estimate on resurfacing our swimming pool. The first time, Kim answered the phone, was very hospitable, and told me a salesperson would call me back. I have not heard from them since. I just looked at this company's Yelp reviews. The reviews are basically bipolar, either very good, or very bad. I have never experienced a company who did not respond to my repeated requests for an appointment. read more

Adams is a total service pool contractor. In 2012 they did a complete remake of my existing pool. The areas that they excelled were: 1) Pool deck travertine work 2) Demo of existing pool deck 3) Basic plumbing (everything existing was removed Not so good: 1) Installation of ozone device (did not follow installation instructions to install 2 feet above plumbing to prevent water backing into device.) Installed level with plumbing which finally caused me to have the device removed and a re-plumb was needed (all at my cost). 2) Electrical: Took several weeks weeks to figure out why the GFI switch kept turning the pool motor off. They finally had to move the GFI switch to the panel box. They would not explain this to me. 3) We had plumbing put in for pool fountains and they did not cover-up the PVC openings for the fountain plumbing, so it took several weeks to flush out cement and demo debris from the pipes. CAVEAT & Lesson Learned Whatever you want they will do. I had both UV and ozone devices installed. This was my lack of understanding that they did the same thing. No real advice 'from the experts' to inform me this was not necessary. Also, I do not speak fluent Spanish. If I did communication would have been much, much better. This is not a complaint, we live in a multi-cultural society. It is just what it is. read more

This is an excellent company. Adams resurfaced my pool when I chose the cheaper surface. This surface failed, as I learned was not unusal. This was on edge of the warranty, so I was concerned. They resurfaced my pool & this time put in the pebble tech for a small increase. This is warranted for 10 years. read more

Adams Pool does high quality work! Darren West, their pool superintendent managed the construction of our pool remodel. He did an excellent job and the crew is super experienced and meticulous. The tiling guy was amazing. They needed very little management because they do everything the right way. Darren was very accessible and prompt about calling me back or texting me back. My wife and I were really pleased with their work. I would especially recommend them for large pool remodeling jobs. read more

It is difficult to rate this company because I have such mixed feelings, but I'll do my best. First and foremost, the final result is beautiful and I couldn't be happier. The good: The pulse of the project is the skilled craftsmen/women that actually perform the work. All crews and foremen, from plaster removal to tile to pebble plus finish, without exception are excellent at what they do. I had no idea how much skilled labor is involved in a pool renovation! These craft masters are truly the reason that Adams is able to produce such consistently stellar results. The showroom is amazing. Even if you think you know what you want as far as materials, make the trip over. They sure have an impressive setup! You get a real sense of how finishes look at various depths/ shade vs. sunlight, next to your tile, etc. The waterfall wall flowing over the various pebble finishes. More to follow. read more

Had my pool resurfaced with pebble tec, new coping, tile, moved some plumbing. The pool turned out beautiful but had issues with cracking tile and coping lifting up. Adams Pools blamed another contractor (pool patio concrete)-- it was clearly Adams' fault with poor workmanship but they play the blame game whenever they can. They came out to repair after almost daily calling and charged me extra (even though it was under warranty). We settled on splitting the bill but their customer service, attitude and workmanship are poor. Every time you talk to them they act like you're putting them out... not great after 12k+ worth of business. read more

A little over three years ago, I had my pool restored by Adams Pool Solutions in Pleasanton, CA. I got quotes from two pool repair companies, both were about the same, but I was familiar with the Adams name, so I went with them. I should've gone with my senses and avoided them since a number of years earlier, one of their salesman had come out to estimate a wall repair in the pool, then disappeared on me, ignoring phone calls, etc. They went right to work with what appeared to be semi-skilled labor, and before long, there were "additonal" repairs that needed to be done, not on the original quote. I think there were a few of them, adding apprx $5400 to the job. They claim to only use their own employees, not true, they sub several jobs out. Actually that is fortunate since they were much more skilled than the Adams employees. When they finally resurfaced the walls with the plaster, it was rippled and blotchy, very obvious at night when you turn on the pool light. Then the plaster around the water entrance opening peeled away, which they repaired at no cost. After the job was "complete", I was losing about 4" of water daily, so they came back a few times to "resolve" the problem...the first two solutions failed, and it was determined that the pool light niche needed to be resurfaced. This was not done for some reason when the pool was restored, and unfortunately for me, they wanted more money to repair the niche. This was after an enormous sum of money for the restoration. I sent a letter to Mark Hannigan regarding those charges, which was ignored. So I paid and had the niche repaired, and the job was done...after first failing since they thought they could seal the leaks with silicone caulk. Now after three years, after the pool warranty has expired, the plaster around that niche is coming apart, and I have a leak in one of the corners. This is something I can repair, no problem, but after a full pool restoration that cost thousands of dollars, why are problems surfacing after only three years?? I'm not sure any of the local pool repair companies can do any better, or if they have longer warranties, or whatever. But if I had to do it again, I wouldn't use Adams for the work. read more

I called them to get a quote on my pool remodeling and the nice guy on the phone got all my information and assured me that someone will call me to schedule an appointment soon. It's been 2 weeks and I have not heard from them. If this is any indication if how they do business I would stay away from them. read more

Adams resurfaced my pool and it looks very nice. The reasons for the 3 stars... They would call me about every other day telling me what they were going to do, but each time they did not complete their job and had to push back the dates. There was no one in charge that came by each day to make sure everything was done properly. Additionally, I had a salesman come over twice to review my pool, but overlooked something and had to charge me extra when I already signed the contract for the amount bid. read more

We needed to completely renovate our pool and spa. We got bids from a few companies, tried to meet with a few others and although we were initially concerned about some of Adams Pool's negative reviews they came highly recommended by someone in the business. Were things perfect? No, there were some delays, some communication issues, and a few minor items here and there. But, most renovation projects are not without a few glitches. When there was an issue, Jeremy the supervisor, was terrific, he responded immediately and fixed the problem, the office was responsive to communication issues and more importantly, Adams stood by their bid, did not charge a penny extra, even when they ran into an unforeseen problem. This is a company that is honest, has integrity and values their customers. As to another reviewer complaining Adams expected to get paid immediately, duh, of course, they do! They are not a huge corporation that can float their bills for a long time and all of this is spelled out and made very clear in the contract. When you see all the crews, trucks and equipment out at your job and the level of professionalism it is clear to me their overhead has to be high with a large payroll, insurance, etc., as a business person I get it and wanted to be sure I paid them on time, they earned it! What is most important and why we give five stars is the final work is beautiful, we love our pool and spa, and all works perfectly. Thank you Adams, greatly appreciated! read more

Wow! What an ordeal using Adams Pool Solutions. Let me start by saying that the work did get finished (fiberglass resurface) and the actual people who did the work were pleasant and seemed to do quality work. Hopefully they will honor the 5 year warranty if there are any issues. TBD. Now let me warn you about the company's poor management, lack of communication, almost corrupt obsession on getting their check for each phase before the workers have even left the premises or before final inspection was completed. Although I was never late or delayed on a payment, their badgering abuse for requesting instant payment was a constant source of contention because, legally, they must allow the consumer a certain time to pay (I think 5 days from completion?). Their project manager, Chris Newton, was belligerent, rude, condescending, unapologetic, and obnoxious. He gave no details, never communicated timing, and was short, rude or condescending. When I told him that I would not pay the final installment before final inspection and once the pool was operational (they had to fix the pool sweep connection that the fiber glass de-threaded), he threatened that I had to pay him that day. I said I didn't have to legally until the work was done and he could ask the police. He actually showed up at my door with a police officer (and a huge grin on his face) to try to badger me. When I asked why he brought police he laughed and said "Because I'm afraid of you." with a smile . Obviously, he was not afraid of me. He is wide and strong looking and shows up with two other big guys while I'm a 5'8" med build 51 year old female. The police officer quickly saw that this was simply a ploy of his to harass me (the customer!) and told me I had no obligation to pay and that it was not a police matter. We waited together until the pool passed inspection and although we didn't legally have to pay that day I always had the check ready anyway. Chris Newton is a bully and a low-class individual with no customer service skills. He is their project manager for the SF Bay Area! The Town told the officer that I was within my rights to wait to pay until Final Inspection of the work passed and that they are well aware of many complaints against Adams Pool Solutions. Besides the terrible project management, the lack of customer consideration and inability to communicate scheduling went on from day one of the project, causing many unnecessary lost hours of work for me. It was headache after headache as one reviewer says. Each part of the company didn't know anything about what was going on from another part of the company. Their internal processes are very inefficient and incompetent. They also failed the permit request application twice before I spent a morning at the town simply finding out what was missing. They just had to note what the two barriers to the pool for safety were. Easy. I took care of it myself. PLEASE BEWARE IF YOU CHOOSE THIS COMPANY I documented all my issues and concerns with the company's owner and management. I got no response. read more

I called a week ago to get someone out here to find a solution and build an awesome pool...have yet to get a call back and apparently that's the same problem everyone else has to. Our pool was done by Adams in March of this year. I had contacted four different companies for estimates. Adams wasn't the cheapest, but they did negotiate a little on their overall quote and given their reputation, I ended up going with them. Ryan is a great sales person, would even reply to emails over the weekend. Some questions I had about changing things in the quote did take some time to get answered. Once the project started, I was very impressed. Mark from the office called every day and left a message on the status of the work. Since I was rarely home when they were working, it was great to know what was going on. There was a 2-3 day delay in some of the work due to weather, but who has every worked with a contractor that was exactly on time? Being told daily that there was a delay made it all easier than me having to guess what was going on. The workmanship is excellent. The machine they used to take out the old plaster was really really loud, but they never started very early which was great for the neighbors. Unfortunately, the day they did the plaster they showed up at 630 or 7am and that machine was also very loud. I wish I was given some notice to let the neighbors know ahead of time. But it's beautiful, the tile work, the plaster, it's all very well done. The customer service was excellent. The workers that came were very polite, tidy, no trash left behind. Overall, we were really happy with everything. read more

Had my pool resurfaced and I couldn't be happier with the outcome and cost. You need to ask for John Rafalski as the pool designer to give you a quote, and Manny Torres as the pool project manager. My pool is beautiful with Johns recommendations and input. Never have I received such great service and value from a company as Adams Pool Solutions. Manny explained every steps of the project and always shows up on time. I feel like I was treated as a family member by Manny. If there was a delay or issues he would reach out and let me know ASAP. He was very responsive and on time to meet me even though when hes an hour and half away. He was also accommodating throughout the project because of issues I had with a concrete contractor. My pool light was loose after the completion of the project. I texted Manny over the weekend about the pool light, he replied back on Monday morning that it will be taken care of. My family and I was swimming later that Monday evening and to our surprise, the pool light was fixed. I would expect it to be taken care of with in the week, but this is the over the top service you can expect from them. You wont be disappointed if you go with them. read more

A follow up to my prior post. After 18 months the new tile that Adams had installed started to come loose. When I contacted them they had someone out to look almost immediately. Within a week the sent their crew in and fixed the problem and re-tiled about 1/3 the pool perimeter. It was less than two weeks from when I first contacted Adams to when the pool was repaired and back in operation. So great response and it indicates they do stand by their work. After this experience I'd say its as good as it gets when a company really does stand behind their work.s read more

Earlier this year, Adams Pool Solutions renovated our 1940's pool with Pebble Fina Classico, two mosaic sea turtles, and a custom waterline tile installation. The short story is that they did an amazing job under complicated circumstances involving winter weather, extensive custom tile work, a tight budget, and graciously dealing with me and my often intense desire to discuss every detail and plan, plan, plan. I highly recommend using Adams Pool Solutions and we love the Pebble Fina. Having renovated the pool in 1990 with new plaster and then watching it fail over time (different company-I think they went out of business), we wanted to find something more long-lasting but still have the classic swimming pool look to go with our 1920's Mediterranean style home. We hope to get a good long life out of this material. I didn't get to use our solar heated pool until this last heat wave and I finally got an up-close look at the job they did. I had watched the process with great interest and have enjoyed looking at the finished pool during the cold months. The quality of work is excellent and exceeded all my expectations. I had challenged the Adams Pools crew with my own waterline tile mosaic which consisted of 100 linear feet of Heath Tile set in a mid-century Mondrian-like pattern with an uneven bottom line that must have had a hundreds of different edge heights. They had to create the substrate, install the sheets of tiles I had assembled, then hand cut the concrete substrate to fit all the little tile bits. Not only did they complete the task skillfully, quickly and cleanly, they didn't chip a single tile which were vulnerable because of the design. As a mosaic artist, I appreciate their commitment to detail and the grouting was perfect. When work started, we were in a serious drought, but Murphy's Law was waiting for us and during the plaster demolition phase, we had days of rain which they worked through efficiently and again cleanly. When I came home from work the first night, I thought they hadn't been there until I looked in the pool. Not a chip of plaster was anywhere to be seen on the ground. Also, we have intense groundwater and the workers had to deal with a pool that could fill halfway up overnight. We ran the pump a lot. Our sales person, Bob Marceau, was wonderful to work with throughout the project. There was no slick sales pitch or talking down about the competition like the other company we interviewed did (Adams price was better too). Bob listened to our needs and requirements, clearly presented our options, and instilled confidence in the quality of the product and company he represented. We received everything he promised and Bob helped us with the one change order that was necessary. We thought our pool light was fine, but after we drained the pool, pulled out the light, we could see the corrosion, and replaced it with a LED light. Knowing my interest in mosaics, Bob also suggested that I check out Rob Vogland, a mosaic artist that specializes in pool accents. I fell in love with the sea turtles and purchased an adult and a baby sea turtle. I could not have made these mosaics myself with the technique Rob uses. They are my favorite part of the pool and I highly recommend him. Check out his website at www.vogland.com. I have uploaded several installation and finish photos on Drop Box. You can e-mail me at arrowmosaics@gmail.com and I will 'invite' you to see them if you are interested. read more

After talking to 3 other pool companies, we decided on Adams and not because they were the cheapest....we decided on them because they were the most knowledgeable. We had a pool renovation that was not your ordinary renovation. Mike Anderson came out and explained how everything would work and promptly gave us a quote. I was immediately impressed, so we decided to pull the trigger. IF YOU COULD SEE OUR POOL NOW...it is friggin fabulous. Mike actually helped us with our custom color...I highly recommend additional glass...it's worth the extra $$$. He was always available to deliver samples and help us with tile sections. We were actually building a spa on our property at the same time with another pool contractor, and Mike helped us coordinate the finishes so our place would ROCK. Rob was the supervisor?? Adams completed the rennovation of our pool two weeks ago. What a company! From the gentleman who estimated repairs and costs to the people on the showroom floor to the people who called to set dates, the entire organization was excellent. Customer service is a hallmark of good companies and this organization earned its five star rating. The workmanship is meticulous. The crews arrived on the stated day and time. Each day the work site was cleaned up before the crew left. The tile and coping are beautiful and the pool sparkles. It is hard to believe a 30 year old pool could look so good! We had Adams Pool Solutions completely retile and replaster our 27-year-old pool and hot tub, and also design and construct a few minor remodel touches (additional benches, etc.). Every person we interacted with, from the initial sales consult (Mike A.) to our project manager, to each and every worker who came out to work on the pool, was professional and polite. We changed our design several times and everyone at Adams worked with us patiently and creatively, even some folks in the showroom who weren't involved in our project (Rikki - thanks for suggesting the awesome stone tiles!). The work was completed on time and within the quoted budget and we were kept informed of progress throughout. The various crews that came by to do their parts were extremely polite, hard-working and left the worksite clean, every single night. It has been several months since the work has been completed and our family is loving our new pool - it looks beautiful and is a great place for us to enjoy with family and friends. As a testament to Adams' outstanding level of customer service, the doorbell rang the other day and it was Mike (our initial sales rep), who had heard that we couldn't fit an umbrella into the umbrella holes we had them put into the pool. He had a few pvc fittings he had scrounged up, got into the pool and tried to fix the problem then and there. And when those pipes didn't fit, he vowed to keep looking for some that would. I just don't think you see that level of service and commitment these days, especially not on a job that had been completed with no complaints from us. I have and will continue to recommend Adams' Pools to everyone. read more

In closing, we would highly recommend Adams Pool Solutions to anyone wishing to build or remodel a pool. Larry S. Napa, Ca read more

We live in the Santa Cruz area and needed to remodel our 1985 vintage pool and equipment, a fairly serious and expensive project. I interviewed virtually all the big pool contractors in the bay area to get a feel for their sense of the scope of work and pricing. Everyone we talked to with the exception of Adams felt that we should demo the coping and plaster to ensure a good finished product. My wife and I felt the coping was still in good shape and that the plaster had very few areas that needed to be repaired, so we were unsure of how to proceed. When we met with Tony Adams, he looked everything over and told us he could indeed save the coping and plaster and still give us a project that would stand the test of time. He said that they would grount in the new tile but use a flexible mastic for the top joints, which allowed us to save the coping. We also decided to saw cut and replace the entire expansion joint around the pool to prevent deck movement. We replaced all the equipment, tile, and put a Pebble Tec plaster finish over the repaired original plaster. Every Adams crew we met were friendly, professional and respectful of our house and landscape. Our project was finished in early August on time and on budget, so we couldn't be more pleased that we hired Adams Pool Solutions to remodel our pool. Thanks to Tony, Marc, Steve, Allan, and everyone at Adams for a great job. Ken & Jill W. read more

Installed Adams Pebble + product. Looks great; excellent workers, professional, friendly, and know their stuff. They could improve communication between their teams, but otherwise, very happy with end result. read more

Very sub par experience. The process was average, lack of communication, slow job. Within one year many tiles falling off, upon contacting company, no one helps you. 15 calls to fix a $60,000. Job, met with silence. These people don't back up their works with maintenance or customer service. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER!!! Royal Pools and Adams Pools work together and I cannot be more disgusted with them both. We are on 6 months of having our pool started and it isn't even half way done and it isn't projected to be done until late August. A project that was suppose to take 3-4 months will take 9+ months. When we started the project we were told that we were the only clients on the books and that it would be done quickly. LOL, 7 months later and we are still waiting. They didn't have any hesitations taking our money but have yet to produce work. There have been times that we haven't heard from anyone for weeks at a time. It took me contacting Tami the scheduler to get things started again. Once I emailed her, wow the next day a team arrived. But once they finished a 2 day tile project, we have been waiting again for 8 week now! Another time when the guys were suppose to come on Monday to start laying the coping, they didn't show up. Tuesday came, no show, Wednesday came, no show, not until my husband called the supervisor who then told us that he just found out that there was a delay and they'd be out Thursday. Well Thursday came and went and so did Friday. The next Monday came and still no word or work. Now we are at 8 weeks since any work has been done. 8 weeks? Really? I am beyond furious. The projected next day of work is Tuesday but Wednesday is a holiday so we will be set back once again. I wish I never chose to get a pool with Royal Pools. My family has put our lives on hold to ensure that we are around for the work and never know when someone will be at our house working. Such a shame and heartbreak. And all the money we have already spent has gone to a company that does not produce. Shame on them. There are so many other things that I could put in this review but it will end it here. Whatever you do, DO NOT USE ROYAL POOLS AND ADAMS POOLS. (I tried to give no stars but the system wouldn't let me but if I could, I'd give them ZERO STARS). read more
