While everything worked wonderfully at first, our Cal Salt system stopped functioning around May, and we reported it immediately. When we finally pulled the trigger they coordinated the delivery very well and when they arrived with their crane, they had a team of 6 people and not only did they deliver it perfectly but they maneuvered around the palms and bistro lighting carefully. We shopped around to different hot tub manufacturers to gain as much information as possible before purchasing a hot tub for our backyard. Dublin Spa Center was by far the best price with a large showroom. David recommended a Cal Spa that was on sale and we made the purchase. He was very knowledgeable and didn't try to over sell upgrades. The important upgrades were already included in the selling price! That's not what we experienced with other manufacturers. Nate and Al set up the hot tub and walked us through the operation procedures along with giving us a wonderful gift package! That night we noticed one of the led color lights out of sequence and contacted Nate the next morning. He sent there top maintenance guy John out the following morning at 9:00am. This might be my favorite yelp review to date : ) I started searching for a swim spa many months ago, as I have an 11 year old son at home and started wondering what I'm going to do to entertain him this summer, when likely not sending him to summer camps. Putting in a pool would cost over 100k, so this seemed like the next best option and great because we could heat it in winter to hot tub temperatures. Anyhow, I live on the Peninsula and went to 3 or 4 different spa places. Majority of them told me I wouldn't be able to get one until at least July, and some said likely closer to a year out for a wait. They also were not super knowledgeable and/or didn't care to really try to sell one, so when I had questions, they didn't have great answers to most of my questions. I eventually had given up but then came across Dave at Dublin Swim spa. From the get go, Dave was extremely knowledgeable and told me he had a few in stock that could be delivered asap. I honestly thought this might be a scam since I was told nowhere in CA would I be able to find one to be delivered by summer. The next day I drove out to Dublin, met with Dave as they were still finishing building out their new showroom since other location burnt, and he had me sold within about 20 min. He was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and made the buying process so easy. Came out to my house that same afternoon to make sure he wasn't overselling something he couldn't deliver on (needed to confirm crane would work from my house location and driveway) and told me what prep I needed to do in order to get delivery (upgrade my electrical and lay a concrete pad). He gave me contacts for both of these places as well even though I opted to go with local folks. Dave also dealt with my mass questions via text and was always super responsive getting back to me. My swim spa was delivered this past weekend and the whole crew (Family owned business) came out to help with delivery. We have had a great experience so far with Dublin Spa Center. After Covid hit my wife hasn't been able to go to the Gym and do her water aerobics. Recently she has been having lots of back issues and needed a low impact for her back and one foot. We didn't think joining a gym again was best with all the different strains of COVID out there. We started shopping around for a SwimSpa and we were being told that with supply chain issues we would be looking at six months to get one delivered. My wife also wasn't really happy with the shallower depth of most of them we looked at buying. She wanted one that went up almost to her shoulder. We called Dublin Spa and talked with Nate and they just happened to have one available that was 15' long and had a hot tub section on one end. It was the perfect depth, and we could have it in just a few weeks. We put our deposit down on it to hold it. They recommended someone to do the pad and we had the thick reinforced concrete pad put it within a few days. We ended up using our own electrician to run a new circuit for the tub as the electrician they use was too booked up. About a week and a half after the pad was laid and electrical was run, the tub was installed by a crane they recommended. Two days later we had our water guy bring 2000 gallons to fill it. Two days later Nate and team came by to fire it up adjust the chemicals and show us how to use it. This is the second hot tub we have bought from Dublin Spa Center in 20 years and they provide a wonderful service. We went to multiple spa showroom and apart from Dublin Spa Center, it was a painful experience. We felt at DSC we got honest advice and were discouraged to invest in extra features that we wouldn't be needing, saving money in the process. Other places were trying to upsell us and sell us their old models. We are very happy with the hot tub we chose and the people delivering were amazing and worked so hard, doing all they could not to damage our garden. The owner and his son did the final install and all looks great. They also gave us a referral for a person who can help us maintain our wooden deck around the tub. After they left yesterday, we found a bag full of goodies: 2 beautiful fluffy white towels, a bottle of wine, cookies, yellow rubber ducky and more! We were so touched. Also, instead of just giving us all the chemicals we need (those also for free), they put them in a sturdy plastic tub with a lid. These little loving touches mean a ton to us! Due to COVID-19, our hot tub couldn't be installed until recently and because there were some other delays caused by the shelter-in-place order we were sent a kind card with a $50 gift certificate for a restaurant. My experience with Dublin Spa Center, and especially with salesman Nate, has been dispiriting, to say the least. I've never owned anything like this before, so I relied entirely on him in making this decision. I had two primary areas of concern about purchasing a swim spa: the cost to run it after the initial purchase, and accessibility. Nate told me that the impact on my electric bill would be minimal, due to the amazing insulating power of the spa cover. Then, when I worried that I wouldn't be able to lift said cover (which, at several inches thick, is quite heavy), he assured me that it would be very easy, and that he had never heard anyone tell him that it was a problem. Well, my electric bill more than DOUBLED in the month following the purchase. It's so high now that PG&E even charged a separate fee for the excessively-high usage. That's hardly a "minimal" impact; the spa runs constantly. The worst part, though, is that I can't even use the spa by myself - because I can't lift the cover. After installation, Nate admitted to me that the person who installed the spa actually *told* him that it would be difficult, if not impossible, for anyone to manage the cover alone, given the height of the tub and the way the stairs were configured. Sure enough, I am completely unable to make any use of this spa at all when I am home alone. In spite of knowing all of this, Nate cheerfully charged my credit card anyway, and professed complete bewilderment when I told him that I felt misled. In fairness, Nate did offer to replace the heavy cover with another one, which he claims will be easier to lift. I consented, because it could hardly be *more* difficult. It hasn't arrived yet, although the spa was installed six weeks ago; I imagine that my PG&E bill will increase yet again after the new cover does arrive, because any insulation will undoubtedly be reduced. I wish that I had never made this purchase. If I could, I would return it in a heartbeat. As it is, I am considering simply disconnecting it and letting it sit empty, since I can't use it anyway. I'm giving two stars, rather than one, because the tub itself is pretty great - when other people are here to help, it is enjoyable and seems to work as described. But as for the business itself, well, suffice it to say that I've been reminded why it's not always wise to trust a sales person to tell the truth about a product. read more

We had a great experience with Dublin Spa Center. After visiting a few showrooms closer to us, a friend suggested we take the trip down to Dublin. We were first time purchasers, and Nate at Dublin Spa Center really took the time to explain the particulars of water sanitation system options, hot tub layout considerations, and more. We left with a much better understanding of hot tubs, brochures for several different options, and felt zero pressure to buy. When I called several days later to get pricing for a couple of the options that we had narrowed down, I also called two other dealers for the spas we were interested in. Dublin Spa Center had the best pricing by FAR. As with our visit to the showroom, there was no pressure to pay extra for optional features. There were some options we wanted however, and Nate was very helpful in selecting options that made sense for us, and steering us away from unnecessary expense. During the installation (as others have mentioned, don't be surprised if the owner shows up to install your hot tub!), we had specific aesthetic concerns that required a creative solution, and these guys were happy to figure out a solution. We got a great result, a fantastic hot tub, and a nice care package to boot. We've had our tub for nearly four months now, and we're loving it. (I'm even writing this review while relaxing in the hot tub!) This is a true family run operation, and it really shows in their customer service. Dublin Spa Center is the only place you need to go to purchase a hot tub in the bay area. Their service is impeccable. Their products (Dimension One Spas) are the tops. We live in Dublin. Our community has a large pool, but no hot tub. We wanted to purchase a good quality hot tub with low maintenance. Without knowing too much about hot tubs, we began searching on the Internet to see what we need to know about Spas if we wanted to purchase one. After speaking to some friends and looking at Yelp reviews, we quickly realized that Dublin Spa Center was the place to go for good quality professional help. Nate and Dave were great to work with. They have a truly no pressure sales technique. The products (Dimension One Spas) speak for themselves. I have not been in a better quality hot tub. Now that I have my own hot tub, I cannot get myself to go into any public hot tubs anymore. The hot tub installation process was invaluable. We have a narrow side yard with AC units on the grounds that made it very hard to even just bring the hot tub to the back yard. Dave and his team of workers built a ramp to go over the AC units. Each hot tub is custom built, meaning you get to choose your colors, features, etc. When our hot tub arrived, it was professionally installed and we were enjoying our tub immediately. Dave, came by about a month later to drop off some hot tub supplies and he noticed a small leak in the tub (evidenced by some dry water spots leading to a floor drain in our back yard. He immediately opened up the panels and inspected the hot tub for a leak. Although he did not see the source of the leak, he noticed a pool of water under the tub. He immediately contacted the vendor and they immediately began working on custom building a new hot tub for me. Dave told me everything is warrantied so that I did not have to pay anything for the new tub. Dave even told me to enjoy the hot tub until the replacement tub arrives. Two months later, our replacement tub arrived and Dave and his team again built the ramp and installed our replacement tub. Since then, no leak. Everything worked great. We have been enjoying our hot tub for almost a year now. I was in the process of calling Dublin Spa Center to order some supplies for my hot tub and realized I never wrote a deserving Yelp review for such a great local business. Dublin Spa Center truly is a great local business in Dublin. I believe they are family owned for over 40 years, at the same location. If you are looking to buy a hot tub, be sure to swing by Dublin Spa Center before making any final decisions. You will not be disappointed. Be sure to have speakers installed in your hot tub. After my spa needed a major repair covered under warranty by Dimension One, the team at Dublin Spa Center, led by Dave Seim, made sure my hot tub was returned to Dimension One and then reinstalled in my yard. This was no small feat, as it was a large spa built into my deck on a hillside. Dave always called me back and was honest in telling me what I could expect from Dimension One. He did not charge me for the Spa Center's extra work and told me to let him know if I had further problems with my spa (whether still under warranty or not). Finally, they said they were going to deliver the spa and kept on changing the delivery date. We bought our first spa (Dimension One)from them in 1998. It lasted 18 years running constantly!! In those years we maybe spent $1200 in repairs. Finally last year we got tired of waiting for it to crap out. Never did. In July of 2016 we went back to Dublin Spa and bought the Dimension One Lotus Bay model. Had it built with options we wanted. It arrived in Sept 2016. It has worked flawlessly since then. In July of this year I noticed it lost a little water each week. There tech came out and said leak was internal and they are going to order a complete NEW replacement. No hassles no pushback. I know that Dimension One Spas are not cheep and you can find other brands much cheaper The added cost is more than worth it. Especially with the service that Dublin Spa provided to us. I bought the first tub from Dublin Pool & Spa 14 years ago and was always happy with their outstanding service ! If there was ever a problem , John would come out and fix it -- Somehow it was always covered on the warranty . Nate was very helpful and knowledgeable when it was time for a new one. Dave inspected the property prior to purchase and helped get me in touch with "John , the gazebo guy" -who will get his own review- who will refurbish the old gazebo for us.
