    I love the Retina Institute. They are very efficient and clean. Dr. Davis is the best. I highly recommend the Retina Institute.

I missed two hours of work for this appointment so it upsets me that I waited in the lobby for an hour with no updates on how long it would take to be seen. I could hardly hear the receptionists behind the plastic barrier and the tv was on loud. When I finally got placed in a room, it had already been about an hour and 40 minutes past my scheduled appointment. Someone came in to quickly drop off a box, but at no point did anyone apologize for the wait or offer any indication of how long I could expect to wait. As a diabetic, I have to worry about low blood sugar, so it was important to get a retinopathy but I couldn't sit there waiting for almost two hours because my blood sugar started to drop. I really wanted to be safe and be able to walk home if the procedure would make it unsafe to drive. Unfortunately, nothing was completed and I walked out to go home and take care of myself. Please be respectful of appointment times. Please communicate with patients who have disabilities about how long they will need to wait. Please tell us if we can step away and you can call us to come back in to be seen. It's okay if you're very busy, so either don't set the appointment or at least please talk and be upfront about what to expect.

Not only was this a colossal waste of time but the office environment lacked professionalism. Every single receptionist was dressed like they had just gotten out of bed, half of them were wearing AirPods not acknowledging the overflow of elderly patients who had questions and many elderly patients were given VR goggle exams in the waiting room. I hate to sound entitled but in a healthcare setting being professional, kind and attentive should be the BARE MINIMUM!

So please make sure you guys make right appointment since dr not available all time at certain locations. Dr latter was very kind and professional. He was telling my husband and I that one day if we have a kids, our kids will def wear glasses since both parent have it on lol. I wish the timing on time. I came right on time at 10am but called to go inside at 10.35 am. They said they were little behind with the schedule. Also I wish they have good selection of the eyeglasses. Their selection and variations very low and more like standard basic one. One of the worker told me they have little selection since elderly come more often. So if you want luxury trendy glasses I don't think you able to find it here. Just ask the prescription and take it somewhere else like LensCrafters or Warby Parker. I'm pretty sure they take most insurance but make sure first to ask. I'm pretty glad I don't need to pay any copay.

My kids has been going to Dr Latter for years now. I also had my parents go to get their eyes checked with Dr Latter as well. He's one of the best opthamologist by far. As for the front desk, the ladies are so sweet. Zuma and the Asian lady (sorry I forgot your name) are the two most kindest, sweetest women I've ever met. They always greet you with big smile on their face.

    Shittiest racist place ever…read more I called to schedule an appointment for Thursday, but they told me they were fully booked, so I scheduled for Wednesday of the same week instead. I booked an appointment for Wednesday at 8 AM and confirmed it with the female staff member at the front desk over the phone. I wasted my time driving there and arrived exactly at my scheduled time on Wednesday. They claimed they called my name, then told me I didn't have an appointment until the next day because they had changed my appointment to Thursday without informing me directly -- only through a text message. I was never clearly notified, so I assumed my appointment was still on Wednesday. Do customers really have to do their job by repeatedly confirming appointments to make sure the schedule is correct? Should I have to ask for the phone representative's name just to hold someone accountable so appointments aren't changed without notice? Whoever the female staff member at the front needs to get fired. This was a mistake on their end. This place is terrible and filled with incompetent staff. Please DO NOT come here.
