Dr. Sadda helped save what was left of the vision in my left eye. He also sent a list of tests that should be run to my primary care physician as he suspected a genetic clotting disorder. Turns out he was 100% right as I tested positive for Factor V Leiden clotting disorder. My primary care physician put me on blood thinners for life so Dr. Sadda's suspicians may very well have saved me from a fatal clot in the future.

I think if my corneas were thicker, I would have chosen SMILE instead! Although SMILE was still a flexible option, I decided to go with the traditional route since it's been around longer. My eyes rx were around -6.25 and -5.75 + astigmatism in both eyes: Cylinder -1.5 (157 axis) and -2 (036 axis). Consultation was very quick. They just do a regular eye exam and scans on your eyes. There is no "eye-touching" or dilation, so you can take yourself to the consultation with ease and it's free. I did consult a couple more places due to family referral, but decided to go for this place because the service is fantastic and staff remembers you. On the day of the procedure, the entire thing took about 1.5 hours due to waiting. But the actual procedure was only like 10 mins. The laser part was literally just a few seconds. I remember stepping into the op room and I felt a bit cold, then the staff member offered a blanket to cover me. Honestly it was extremely comfortable; being under the machine did not scare me at all and had my full trust in Dr. Lee. After the procedure, I could immediately see the staff member's name on her shirt. I was pretty shocked! It was still "blurry" due to the many eyedrops they put in your eyes during the procedure. The procedure was completely painless and I felt absolutely nothing at all, which is still shocking to me lol. FYI on the way home, the numbing started wearing off and my eyes started to water and hurt. Try your best to sleep it off and use those numbing drops the first 24 hours of post-op. At some point, you might feel a bit of pinching on your eye(s), like you're being poked by something sharp. Don't worry, it's just your nerve and part of the healing process. For me, it only lasted like 1-2 days of that poking feeling (started on the 3rd day or so). My eyes got gradually better and better after 4-5 days of post-op. After a full week, I didn't feel that poke-y feeling anymore. The other thing I like about this place is that the steroid(?) eyedrops they give you combines 2 different kinds of medication, so it's not separated into 2 bottles. I was using 4 drops a day (per eye), and has now dropped to 3 times a day after the first week of post-op. I've been instructed to use up the bottle until it runs out. Not having to use 2 different bottles makes a big difference to me! I really recommend this place! I'm currently trying to convince others to come here as well. You will not regret it! :)

I got the procedure done with Dr. Liu and she also was very reassuring and informative answering all questions I had, talked me through the whole procedure and during which was very quick and painless only mild pressure. I was definitely a bit nervous but it does help to relax as much as possible, they gave me a stress ball to keep and music options! I was immediately able to somewhat see aside from the blurriness. After sleeping I woke up and noticed immense vision improvement with slight blurriness. I'm definitely happy I got it done and love the results already! For 3 years I evaluated surgeons and surgeries. I chose ABiC combined with cataract surgery performed by Dr David Richardson at San Marino Eye, a mere 8,000 + miles from my home in Australia. The surgery was successfully performed on Friday Nov 8 & 22. Did I make the right decision? You bet I did! Along with his team at San Marino Eye, Dr Richardson's priority was my eyesight. I could wax on positively about patient access, generosity of time, professionalism, up to the minute procedures etc etc, all of which is true. Dr Nicole Fuerst chose to do LASIK in one eye and PRK on the worse eye. The surgery was done at the Caster Eye Center in Beverly Hills. Yes, the drive will suck, but once you see the high tech equipment and skilled staff you will be glad you made the drive. The technician who helped Dr Fuerst do my daughter's eyes was incredible. She calmed my anxious daughter down, enough to get the surgery done. In the end, my daughter's eyes were corrected beyond expectations or better than glasses or contacts.

If you are considering him I would not hesitate to go see him . Here is my story in regards to what happened to me and what exceptional service and treatment I received from Dr Nguyen and his staff. I tore my retina on Dec 26, 2025. At that time I didn't know that to be the case. I went to the emergency room that night and they did a sonogram and said nothing torn but I had a hemorrhage and to follow up with a Opthamologist. Well the 26th was a Friday so I had to wait until Monday to go. I did have on opthamologist from my cataract surgery but when I went to see him he was not working because of the week between Christmas and New Years. I then went to an Optometrist I know and he sent me to Dr Nguyen's office in Pomona. I walked in that Monday the 29th about 10 AM or so. I told the girl at the front desk my story and she said she could squeeze me in on Tuesday the 30th for an evaluation. I went to see Dr Nguyen on Tuesday and they ran several tests. Dr. said I had a torn retina and would require surgery to repair. I was thinking to myself ok a week or two to schedule and he said he had a spot on Wednesday the 31st. He wanted to do it sooner than later. I was shocked as I did not anticipate the sudden surgery but decided it was the best thing to do. Now comes Monica, the office scheduler for surgeries. In order to do this surgery I had to have blood work done as well as an EKG prior to surgery. Monica had me set up at Pomona Valley Hospital to do everything within about 2 hours that same day. She was amazing with the organization. December 31st, surgery day. Everything went smooth. At discharge they said I should see Dr in the Pasadena office on Jan 2. Later in the day on Dec 31 I received a call and they said Dr would see me at his office in Pomona on Jan 1. I said that is a holiday and she said not a problem Dr would meet me their and open the door and check me out to make sure everything was good. Sure enough he was their on the 1st and said all looked well. Again, I highly recommend Dr Nguyen without hesitation.

Her husband had surgery with Dr. Lu and was very satisfied. Coincidentally, both his office and the surgery center are in Arcadia, where I live. I had cataract surgery on my left eye on 2/16 and on my right eye yesterday, using an EDOF multifocal intraocular lens (paid out-of-pocket). Dr. Lu truly lived up to his reputation; he was very professional, explained things meticulously, and patiently answered all my questions. Both surgeries went very smoothly and successfully. Furthermore, Dr. Lu personally calls patients on the same day after each surgery to check on their progress. Although there are follow-up appointments the next day, his dedication and willingness to go the extra mile touched and reassured me.
