My spouse and I stopped at Acropolis while traveling during the Thanksgiving holiday week. We found this restaurant through the Yelp app and decided to give it a shot because it had such high reviews. This is definitely a fantastic Mediterranean place. My wife and I have tried many Greek restaurants across the US and this one ranks as one of the best we have dined at. We tried their hummus sampler, the tabbouleh salad, and we each had the gyro plate. The appetizers were great and I highly recommend the gyro plate. It came with a Greek salad and lentil soup. Pure perfection. You won't go wrong with that dinner option. The service was also very good. They have a full bar and tons of wine options. We were tired from traveling all day and diced to save the drinks for our next visit. Give this place a try, you won't regret it. read more

Covid 19 friendly!!! They offer dine in and it's not packed at all. Very friendly staff, we had Naomi as our waitress and she was a sweetheart! They offered two types of Greek beer and both were delicious, not heavy like American beer. We shared the mussels as a appetizer the Greek Sampler and baklava as dessert. This is normally one of my favorites. I decided to have my birthday dinner here. The food is always delicious and I love the potatoes with a Greek salad. They called to confirmed my reservation on Thursday and then three more times on Saturday. The last confirmation made me upset because how many times do I have to confirm. The young lady calls and says your reservation is for 7 PM and if your party is not here, we will give away all your tables. I tell the young lady my party will be there at 6:30. She says ohh and then they harass my friend when she shows up. Asking her a bunch of questions and letting her know if the party is not here they're taking the tables I reserved 3 weeks earlier. I get to the restaurant with my cake and as I'm sitting my cake down. I hear breathing, I look over and it's the owner just watching me. I ask how hes doing and he just turns and walks away. No friendly greeting, hello thanks for dining here. He's just worried about this 7:30pm party that has 7 people coming. How do I know that? because they kept saying we have another party coming and need your tables. Now from what I saw. The party of 7 sit up front by the restrooms and the other smaller party seating was by the door. They were already setup for the guess. My 16 guests sat in the left corner off the wall. So what did my tables have to do with the other two parties? A couple came in with their son so of my 4th table was taken. The couple waited maybe 3 mins in the front.If the owner wouldve waited 5 mins, 2 tables became free. We were watched all night and pointed at. The servers were my favorites I actually requested Stephen and wanted Heather also but didn't remember her name when I made the reservation. I felt her uneasiness as well as Stephen's as they served my party. Then the owner sends the black cook over to check on us. I guess the owner now all of a sudden don't know how to be friendly to a group of black folks (all women). By the end of the night if they would've played it cool there would've been no issues. I felt very uneasy and wanted to leave. But with a party of 16 on a Saturday night after 7, it would have been hard to find some where to go and be seated right away. I feel like I'll never come back here again after this unwelcoming experience. Update: I will never comeback here. You as the owner could've just turned my party away. I was told you were making faces and tighten your fist in anger. Your restaurant was a favorite for many of us that was in that group. Some was new and said they couldn't wait to comeback. But don't worry we don't go anywhere and spend our money where we're not welcome. read more

The owner is not Greek and the food is not traditionally Greek food as the owners use Mediterranean spices that are traditionally used in Muslim countries. We are here twice, thinking it was just an awkward meal the first time. The second meal was just as blah. In addition, the service is weak at best, as well as the prices. If you want traditional Greek food, look elsewhere. My best analogy, you don't get your vehicle engine repaired at quick lube joint... so don't expect Greek food at this restaurant. read more

wow this was incredibly underwhelming. i ordered for delivery (delivery was fine, not the problem) a mezze plate which was meh, nothing particularly good except the tiny amount of hummus (which tasted store bought btw) and definitely not worth the price. the spanakopita was ok, but again nothing to get excited about. ok so on to the Mediterranean wrap with chicken, again nothing special in the least. i also got baklava for dessert, luckily you can never go wrong with that, thank goodness. but here was my big problem: the entire reason for ordering from them was to get a falafel. let me tell you i have literally had 100s of falafels in my life, and this atrocity was NOT a falafel. i got a couple falafel 'rings' (they seriously looked liked onion rings) which were WAY too salty....as in my mouth is burning, all i can taste is salt! i can't taste chick peas, or fava beans, or anything that usually encompasses a falafel. NOPE. just pure salt. oh, and i got a pita wrap to go with it. AND THAT'S IT. WHAT?!?!?!? none of all the normal ingredients that go into a falafel wrap: no onion, no tahini, no lettuce, no tomato ... NOTHING. this is truly pathetic. i'm throwing most of it into the garbage. i don't know if it's different (better) when you dine in, but please do yourself a favor and do NOT order these things for delivery. i spent my money so you don't have to. but if you are determined to order delivery from them, thinking it will be different for you, well, all i can say is ...... good luck. read more

I loved how the hummus had a hint of spiciness to it and how the pita bread was fluffy. For the 2 sides, I got their salad and rice.
