I cannot say enough great things about ACME Locksmith. From start to finish, the service was professional, fast, and courteous. Charlie and frankey are true master locksmiths whose knowledge and expertise are second to none. Whether it's cars, motorcycles, homes, businesses, safes, or specialty locks, they have the skills and experience to get the job done right. What impressed me most was their professionalism, honesty, and dedication to customer service. Charlie and frankey took the time to explain everything, answered all of my questions, and made sure I was completely satisfied before leaving. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship gave me complete confidence that my vehicle and locks were in the best hands possible. If you need a locksmith you can trust, I highly recommend ACME Locksmith. Charlie and frankey are among the best master locksmiths I have ever worked with, and their expertise with cars, motorcycles, and all types of locks is truly outstanding. Thank you both for providing exceptional service and making the entire experience stress-free. I will absolutely recommend ACME Locksmith to my family, friends, and anyone looking for top quality locksmith services. Five stars all the way! Sincerely, M. Brown read more

I called ACME Locksmith because of their good on line reviews and because their website states that they are "trusted locksmiths serving Peoria". I live in Peoria, specifically in Trilogy, which is about 2 miles west of the 303 freeway. When I called to request installation of a smart lock I was informed that their service area is only east of the 303, and therefore they could not provide service for me. When I asked if they could make an exception they told me that the owner would only do so if I payed an additional $125.00 for the job. This is false and misleading advertising, with no attempt at an equitable solution. I would not recommend using this company. read more

Called this place a couple weeks ago and the person on the phone was helpful and friendly. Provided some information about locks and suggested I stop by. Went to the store and the store employee was supposed to get back by "the next hour, at the latest end of day" and that never happened. Called the next day and still was not able to help find the right "key" for a lock, but he did give the advice to replace the lock and what kind to get. Sat in traffic for nearly 40 mins on Friday afternoon, I get there at 4:40pm and the store was already locked. They're supposed to be open until 5pm. Would've rated this a 4-5 stars if they stay open during posted business hours and actually provided the service they should provide. Unfortunate. read more

ACME Locksmith - Phoenix - Closed way before they're supposed to. - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I moved to Phoenix recently from San Diego and am really happy to find this outstanding locksmith store. I needed keys made which turned out better quality than the originals and at only $4 a key. I also bought pepper spray for only $11. Service by Gil was great and he competently answered all my questions. If he didn't know something he looked it up rather than give wrong info. They have a great selection of locks, security devices, safes and accessories. Highly recommended. read more

First of all, not only did somebody answer the phone at this place, but someone was actually at the storefront as well. I don't remember how many places I called, but it was to the point that I decided to go to the first place that actually answered their phones. I did that, and made an appointment. When I showed up to that other place, the doors to the shop were locked. So I called, and they said that they had gotten busy and would not be able to make it until later in the afternoon. They offered to help me make an appointment with the person who would be working on my key fob, and I told them that I had already done that and that was why I was standing in front of their store that is locked. About an hour later, I did get a call from that person to schedule an appointment, and I told them that I would not be available at the times that day had offered. However, here at Acme locksmith, not only did someone answer the phone right away, but they also have a person right at the store to manage it while other people are out on calls. So there is always somebody at the store. Next... I had called them. I had set up a time for me to show up, which was within the hour. When I arrived, it was less than a minute before they got started on programming my key fob for my car. I highly recommend this place, not only for their service, but I recommend them on the fact that they are there when they said they would be there. Sean, the person that helped me was friendly and extremely helpful to let me know all the details necessary to get the correct key FOB for my car. (I've gone through a few incorrect orders (not by them). read more

This place is a rip. Total bait and switch. I had some business keys cut and my usual place was closed. I should have waited. The guy told me the keys were a couple bucks each at first. When I was rang up, my keys ended up being like 5 times more expensive than I usually pay at the other place, and the employee said it was because they were different, special order blanks, which is horseshit. Also I had to sit and listen to the dude whine and bitch about the Supreme Court not throwing Trump in jail and how we need to expand the court. Save me the side of politics and just stick to your job and stop gouging people. Go somewhere else. read more

Erv, from ACME Locksmith in Phoenix, came out the same morning I called for an appointment and serviced our front and kitchen doors and security doors. Our kitchen security door was becoming very difficult to open and close. We own an second floor apartment and due to settling in the building, the lock on the security door was very difficult to work with. Erv effected the needed adjustments and solved the difficulty very quickly and professionally. He also gave us maintenance instructions for the locks. Keys made by ACME always work better than keys we have had made with other business. Thank you, Erv, and ACME Locksmith. read more

I was looking to install a front door key entry for a business. Requested an estimate online. Received an email a week later. The email stated, "In order to get you an estimate on this door, I would need to send a technician out to you and perform a job walk. The door you have is not standard and we need to make sure the lock provided will fit. We do charge $99 to come out for this, but if you accept the estimate, we do not charge you the $99 to return." written by Eric. I replied that we were not paying $99 for an estimate. Eric replied, "Now that you were able to type a complete sentence, I can understand your response." Wow, Eric is so professional and he needs to be the head of customer service. I got the name for this neighborhood locksmith shop from the website nextdoor.com. A lot of people raved about the place as far as its honesty and fair pricing. I went there to get my car FOBs activated. Brian was the employee. Unfortunately, even though it only took less than five minutes to key the FOBs to my car, I had to wait 25 minutes cause a woman who came in right before I did, decided it was all right to have a long conversation/dialogue with Bryan about heaven knows what about a stack of keys!! Yes, she saw me sitting there. I mean, 10 or maybe even 15 minutes max I don't think I would have really minded all that much, but 25 minutes?? Really?? Brian does really make an effort to help everyone to the max possible, but I guess I was a bit miffed cause of the wait, especially since it was warm (read hot) in there. read more

So it's actually acme, not ace, but whatever. Hours posted on the website, Yelp, and in the window were ALL different. But still like to support a local business, and I was able to get everything I needed rekeyed for half the price than if I'd gotten all mee hardware, which would've been the only option at hardware stores. Service was friendly and efficient, and saved me money compared to alternative options. And it's close to home. This will be my go to locksmith in the neighborhood. read more

Went to the Infinity dealership to order a replacement FOB. They still lived up to my previous review, just god-awful service and overpriced. We bought a used Highlander couple of years ago. Only had one key, no problem! Well, now we have more drivers around the house. Called the local Toyota dealership for a new "key"....OMgoodness! NOT paying that. Found ACME on Yelp. Lots of great reviews. Between initial e-mails to final visits. Great prompt and friendly service. Brian explained that I would need a smart remote, which had to be ordered. Seperate pricing for remote, key cut and programming. Still much cheaper than the dealer. I came in to pick up the remote and get it programmed. God bless sweet Brian! I got to sit in the store, he had to stand outside in the sun programming my new key. He even insisted that I try out all the remote functions on the key before I left. Would definitely return to them for any and all locksmith needs. read more

I needed to have door handle and deadbolt replaced on my exterior entry gate. It required two visits, as I had erroneously ordered a deadbolt that was contrary to fire code. Scheduling both appointments was prompt and easy. And on both occasions, the technician was punctual, efficient, and skilled in his work--and an awfully nice guy as well. Finally, the fees for service were eminently reasonable. For all that, I am so very grateful. read more

The service was quick. Locksmith was in the area in 10 minutes notice. Great service.

I called Acme on August 14th to fix the lock on our security door. Our keys were not working in the lock. Someone came out, looked at it, said he needed to order new parts, took our $99 payment and left. After not hearing from him after two weeks, I called to find out where the part was. Sean, who answered the phone, said he couldn't find the order and Eric would have to call me back but he was out with family medical issues. I resent the signed purchase order and asked to be contacted as soon as possible. After not hearing from them for another two weeks, I called again on September 15th. Again got Sean, who again said he couldn't find my order, and again Eric would have to call me back, but he again wasn't in because of family medical issues. This was a month after the initial visit and our security door was still not working properly. I told them to forget it and I would go elsewhere. I then called another locksmith who came to the house within the hour and fixed the security door within 15 minutes, no lock replacement, no parts needed, just a simple adjustment and our security door lock works perfectly now. read more

Mike is the Man at Acme! He helped answer all my questions and was very helpful. ACME Locksmith - Phoenix - I'm very pleased w. the customer service that I received from Mike. He was very knowledgeable & had a great attitude. 5 * highly recommend - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

ACME LOCKSMITH REALLY GETS "ZERO" STARS Apparently from what I'm reading, Acme is the "go to" guys for the simple stuff like replacing keys - not the big stuff that they proclaim on their website to be the best at like a safe in need of servicing. ..... I contacted this company thru a Rosie on the House recommendation to replace the lock on my safe. I gave the info on the size of the safe and the type of lock that needed replacing. A tech came out to have a look and didn't bring a lock with him... wasted day #1. He said he'd be out on Monday around noon. When he didn't arrive, my husband called and the service said that we weren't on the schedule....wasted day #2. When the tech came out a few days later, the lock he brought with him was inferior and did not fit and didn't really want to modify it ..... wasted day #3. How hard is it to bring a Sgt Greenleaf lock to the house and install it? I've replaced this lock before without any problems. As of this post, it's been over a week and we have not heard from Acme and quite frankly, after wasting my time on 3 different days..... I don't want to. ****UPDATE*****: 12/27: Thank you for "quick" response after 5 weeks. The quality of the lock being replaced was hardly poor or inferior. Again, the 1st visit - he didn't bring a lock. The 2nd visit - well there wasn't one, because he didn't show up. The 3rd visit, he brought a lock that he wanted to "modify" and "shave down" to fit... the lock you brought was of poor quality, sir ... not the lock that was being replaced. read more

Needed some work done on a commercial lock. Great service over the phone to make the appointment. They sent a text when on the way and "Big Mike" arrived on time and did great work. Quick, friendly service from start to finish and did I mention affordable? I would definitely recommend Acme -5/5!

I asked multiple places around Phoenix to get my Subaru key copied onto a flip key blank that I already had and either they wouldn't do it or charged about $100. It was a bit of a drive to get to acme but it was worth it. In and out the door in less than 5 minutes and only paid $39 for the flip key and an additional key. If you have a Keyport, go here. It's always a hassle going to Walmart/Lowes/Home Depot, since it depends on the person helping you if they will cut your keys for you or not. read more

I called around looking for good pricing on someone to reprogram a keyless entry and these guys quoted me a great price and were very friendly on the phone. I had a great experience at Acme Locksmith. I needed a Thule car box key copied, and Ace Hardware was unable to duplicate the foreign key, so they recommended me to Acme. Tech Bobby called when he was on his way and he arrived when he said he would. He rekeyed my front door, screen door, and garage door for the same key while still allowing me to keep my ornate original door handle. He also readjusted the lock piece on the door jam so that the door shut and locked easily. Angie's list has a discount on the service fee so if you have that I recommend using it it'll save you maybe 20 bucks. They also do mailbox rekeys but I didn't have that done. Ran me around 130 and they provide a detailed receipt and accept credit/debit for payment. read more

Got my Toyota car key cut and programmed for less than half of what the dealerships wanted. Robert gave me a quick quote through yelp then I saw Brian who took care of the cutting and programming. The key wasn't cut 100% and needed to be jiggled to work, so Brian offered to order me a new key and take a few bucks off for the inconvenience. When I went back to pick up the new key, I also brought in a Kwikset lock from my front door that was giving me problems. He rebuilt the Kwikset lock at no charge. Again he apologized for the inconvenience of having to come back for a new key. Rarely these days do you see customer service like that-- going above and beyond to make sure the customer leaves happy. I will definitely be back if I need locksmithing services again. read more
