I went to my dealership and was appalled at the small fortune they wanted me to pay for a pair of two chipped keys and two programmed key fobs. They also wanted to make me wait for their technician. I simply went to Car Key Replacement and for a fraction of the price I got what I wanted from a super smart girl named Noa in about 5 minutes. Don't even waste your time at the dealership. Go to Car Key Replacement immediately! I highly recommend them. Did you know if you go to sell your car and you have two sets of keys you can get $500-$1000 more for your car? read more

I had them come to make a new key because the x took them they made a new one an d when they tried to start it the key broke he called the boss and sa5that he could repair the key housing for 600 with a 1 year warranty, 6 months later they key wasn't turning properly he said to send him pictures ! Of the key not turning... Anyway I went to oriellys and bought a new key cylinder for 60 $ ... Company is a total scam !! Go elsewhere..Damn Crooks! read more

Maor, the owner of this place took 800$ from me and made my car even worse. He replaced an ignition switch for my mercedes but now all my windows are stuck down and i can't use a horn or blinker. He told me to take it to a mechanic which he should know is something a mechanic can't fix. It needs programming and he did it completely wrong. Blocked my number and never gave me any money back. I also waited week for him to even get the part when he said a week tops read more

Yeah I got a cheap new Chinese key but the car's computer doesn't want to accept it. Alarm goes off til I start the car up paid 170$ for terrible customer service. Putting his clipboard and supplies on the roof of the car like his personal desk. Very sad that I settled for this guy read more

Replaced 2015 Infinity QX key perfectly Worked no problem. Took about 30 mins Needed car and another working key in order for them to make the copy and program the chip inside the new key. read more

The technician who came out did good work and I appreciated that they could come same day. However, I think these reviews must be inflated because I was charged $394 and didn't realize until after I got the key that I was charged that price for a non-Honda, non-alarm key... so basically a spare (and now I have to manually lock and unlock the doors). The dealership quoted $150 for an alarm key! Even having the car towed to the dealer would have been much cheaper. Update: the technician also told me I should submit the receipt to my insurance and at least part of it would be covered. Absolutely was not, though I have full coverage and roadside assistance. I don't understand how this business has so many good reviews. My boyfriend initially reached out to this company due to my car alarm randomly going off after the key had gotten wet. They came out the same day and advised us a brand new key would need to be made to correct the issue. We paid $175 in total for the technician to come out and remake the key. The issue did subside for a little but the alarm started going off again for no reason. When we reached back out to the company they gave us a "oh well" solution. Stating we would have to pay out again at the same amount if not more, for them to come back. Basically trying to convince us to not have them come back Funny thing is we chose this business due to such raving reviews plus a "1 year guarantee on all parts and labor for each job completed" per their WEBSITE! When we reached back out about this guarantee via text, the technician, I believe by the name of Scott, merely texted back a "okay cool". Really sad that I basically got scammed out of $175 & now I had to take to another locksmith who indicated that the key remade was an after market key that is not of good quality. He made me OEM key for $100. Located on 18th ave and Indian school Geronimo Key LLC in case you need a better recommendation! :) read more

I do not recommend this company. The guy that came out here was clearly just looking to get money. We finally settled on a price which was higher than what I wanted to pay and at the end he still tried to charge me more and said it was for more fees. Ummm no we agreed on a flat price. Do not deal with these guys!!!! Poor customer service read more

I needed a deadbolt put on my door. The dope they sent didn't know how to do it. So I just had my door re keyed. If these guys don't know how to install deadbolts they need to go into another business. I would never use these guys again. read more

The shell on my key broke right after work one day so i looked up car key replacement, and I'm so happy that I found this place. The gentlemen on the phone was very nice and new exactly what I was talking about. He assured me that they would be able to fix it, no problem. When we got there a young lady was already expecting us and knew what the issue was with my key. I was so tired from work and had the kids so it was nice to get in and out. The battery was already running low on my car key and I was quoted $75 just to re-shell the key. But my original key wouldn't fit in the new shell so she made me a brand me key and programmed it. Not only did I get a BRAND NEW KEY, she gave me a single key to only open the car, and she only charged me the $75. I reccomend this place to everyone!!!! Thanks again car key replacement read more

We have a 2000 Lexus LX470. Had it since new and over the years lost all the keys with exception to the non-fob smart key key. Wanted to have a Fob key made. Contacted the Lexus dealer and was quoted around $350 plus the cost of the blank key (over $400). Contacted a couple other locksmiths who told me they would rather not attempt it due to the difficulty. Searched Yelp and called Car Key Replacement who said they could do the job. Met with Maor and he explained the unique complexity with this year and model Lexus in that it is one of the most challenging ignition systems to recreate a Fob key using the non-fob smart key. Nevertheless he said he could do the job and quoted me about half the cost of what the dealership wanted to charge me. Long story short, it took about 90 minutes, a lot of specialized equipment and professional manuals and he handed me a new Fob key. Can't say enough about Maor and his knowledge and dedication to his craft. I am certain there is nothing that he can't do when it comes to car key replacement...and for a great price. Thank you Maor! read more

I needed two fobs cut/programmed for my girlfriend's car because hers didn't come with a factory self learning setting. I took it in and the girl that helped me was super informative and explained exactly what she was doing and why. The entire process took maybe 20 minutes. I decided to get a fob for my truck too and have them do it also the next week. I normally don't write reviews for anything, but this was a great experience overall. Great quality work, especially for the price compared to the dealership! Absolutely recommend. read more
