Not sure where to write this review, hopefully it gives credit to the right MATT, Sr. Locksmith with Acme Locksmith, who merged/bought/sold to Scottsdale Locksmith. From what Matt was saying there are 2 offices now but you'll get the same kick-butt service from either one. MATT was awesome showed up early, and from the beginning was friendly, professional, full of suggestions and free advice to improve my home's security. In short, Matt was awesome and I'm more than happy to say call this guy, he knows how to do it and he'll go above and beyond the call. He showed up in a very nasty situation where my sister's boyfriend was finally caught in his fraudulent life and for the first time to any of us, her boyfriend showed his sociopathic, wicked, dishonest, cheating, stealing self and he told my sister he loved it. Matt showed up and did top quality work with top quality parts for great prices and when he left my sister felt a lot safer and it was a load off my family's mind. I just got the keys to my first house yesterday and it was recommended to me to get the locks changed asap for obvious reasons. My Realtor, Lisa Zaklan with Keller Realty, recommended ACME to me. I called them up this morning and they were able to make an appointment with me at MY earliest convince SAME DAY. The locksmith I had was Matt and let me tell you, he was fantastic! He showed up on time and quickly changed my six locks. He also took the time to walk show me some priceless safety tips in my garage with my garage door that I would have never even thought about. The bottom line is that if you need a lock changed,fixed, or whatever and you want to use a company/locksmith with skill, integrity, who will go the extra mile, and won't "nickel and dime" you, this is the company to use! We live close to this ACME locksmith business and we cannot say enough good things about them. They ask questions to understand what your real need is and offer options as to what solutions could work for you and the different strengths and weaknesses of thos eoptions. Most importnatly they show that they WANT to do a good job for you and it's not just lip-service. Their behavior and attitude makes you trust them and makes you feel comfortable. Parking is easy (right in front of the store) and they are located next to a bank and a grocery store at an active intersection. Be honest, upfront and straightforward with them and you will get a good result at a reasonable price. I simply am not one to write reviews, but after the spectacular service I received from Bobby at ACME LOCKSMITH I just had to say something. I am in Arizona on vacation and needed a spare high-security key made for my hard-to-find-parts-for 1998 Saab. After phoning another locksmith that informed me I could get a duplicate Saab key I drove there only to find out their machine was down. They recommended ACME and off I went - expecting another letdown. I was pleasantly surprised that Bobby told me not only could he make a duplicate, but that I could be in and out in 5 minutes. What a great company!! Bobby was absolutely incredible!! Fast and super-friendly service that I figured had gone the way of carhops and fender skirts. I called several places to get quotes from different companies to come out and rekey my car. Acme was the cheapest and had the best customer service. I found them on the internet just searching for different lock smiths in the phoenix area. My first impression when I called is Villette who answered the phone and she was super super nice and helped me out a lot. She had someone at my place within 30 minutes. She even called the next day to make sure everything turned out good. I have to say that she sold me. She was super nice and answered all my questions without hesitation. I needed a key for a 1986 Corvette door lock. The dealer does not have key codes that far back. I called ahead and was told that if I bring the car in, it will be $25 to make a key. Now, compare this with the other yahoos that I called first...One guy told me $120 to start. I said what does "to start, mean?" And got a line of BS. I took the door panel off and drove the car over to ACME. He did not have to pull the cylinder (which would have been $55). It took at least an hour because the key had to be hand made and fitted. The charge was $35 for the TWO keys! No extra charges for the time it took to make the first key. I am only sorry that I don't have more locks that need to be fixed. I was referred to Acme by " Rosie on the House". My whole house needed attention. Russ was the service provider.He was very knowledgable, very thorough and extremely professional . His quality of work demonstrated his skills. The work was impeccably done in a timeframe that again demonstrated a very skilled professional. Russ was open to questions and the answers were backed by years of experience. Russ is a supreme asset to this company. In my experience, the guys that answer the phone need help.. I called and dealt with Violet. Their phone customer service is out of this world. I had called FOUR other locksmiths before finding this company. The other ones either didn't have voicemail set up, didn't answer, or hung up on me repeatedly when I tried to contact them. This company had someone energetic and knowledgeable answering phones. They scheduled my appointment within two hours of my call! Although we did not end up using the actual service to rekey our door - when we do I will definitely be calling them back. If their customer service is this good and I wasn't even a client yet, I can only imagine how repeat customers are treated! They are great! read more

Hubby had broke our key off in our toy hauler. Called and set up appt, They were very punctual!! Thomas was the locksmith that took care of us. he is awesome!!! fast, friendly, took extra care. not only did he fix our lock, (I really had doubts that it even was fixable!) But he was able to make new keys with very slim pickens on what was left of the key in the lock!! i was amazed!! The best part is, the prices are extremely fair and reasonable.!! I am very satisfied with Acme Locksmith. They provided a 2 hour window as to when they were to arrive and suprise the arrived right in the middle of the window (not 20 min after the latest time). Matt was very friendly and knowledgeable, provided me additional tips on how to secure other doors and my garage. He aslo corrected 2 other doors which were not closing securely, and there was truely "no additional charge". What was amazing is the charge was EXACTLY what they told me it would be, no more! Excellent service and value. My son locked himself out of his truck, again. The last time he lost his keys with another vehicle we called AAA and the mobile service they sent charged me $225. I thought I would shop around prior to doing that again and saw this company's reviews so I called them. Eric is new with the company but was very helpful. They sent out a service tech that was very knowledgeable and friendly. Also they cost me less than the AAA discounted rate of $225. I would recommend this company to anyone. Had a GREAT experience today with ACME locksmith. Called at 0900 to have someone come and assist in replacing my front door lock that broke the night before. Within 45 minutes Ryan arrived and replaced my dead bolt lock and cleaned up my door handle to make it work more efficient. Ryan was professional, fast, and very customer focused. He explained what he was doing, ensured that it was working correctly and re-checked prior to departing. I would recommend ACME to anyone needing locksmith assistance. I looked on the web for a lock shop and i was having a hard time finding one. It seems that a lot of locksmith just do mobile service but don't have shops. Then i was able to find Acme Lock and not only do they have a shop to go to, plus they have a moblie servce as well. I went to Acme's shop were a very nice man name Sean helped me make keys to a very old boat ingnation. Sean was filled with all types of knowledge and was able to make a key to the lock. Shawn did a great job of analyzing a tough key problem and through patience and some filing, he fashioned a replacement key that worked perfectly even though the blank is slightly thinner than the factory one. AMEN....for the for ACME LOCKSMITH...an actual SHOP....needed to have a lock box re keyed (could not find a shop in my area...only mobile service). SEAN was very friendly, quick, honest and reasonably...just a great FAMILY owned business. I live in Florence and have absolutely no problem handing out the extra business cards I took. Had a great experience here...needed a specialty key cut. They finished the work quickly and when it came time to pay the bill, my credit card wasn't working and I had no cash. Brian the manager simply smiled, handed me the key and asked me to return with the cash or a working card at my convenience. Needless to say, it could have come down very differently. I had to evict tenants from my rental home by way of a constable. I had to time the eviction with a locksmith. Bobby with Acme was awesome! He was parked near my home a few minutes early. He called me to let me know that he was nearby. He re-keyed 9 locks in a very brief time and even fixed a couple of door latches that weren't working just right! I would recommend Acme and Bobby as they do great work at a fair price and Bobby even made repairs that I didn't know were needed! read more

I was looking for a locksmith that could program my key fobs to my Dakota, I was forced to replace my controller because it also controlled the lights as well as the remote door lock/unlock function. Other locksmiths had priced the job at $180 for one fob. Acme priced it at $55.00 for 2 fobs. I took the Dakota to them and they actually did it for $45.00 for both fobs. Over the past 15+/- years, I have often put up with what I consider their extreamilty HIGH prices. But after my last experience I am throwing in the towel. Like many of the 1 star reviews here... They are just rude, condescending and not very helpful. I left this store and went to Home Depot and found 3 different lock solutions that worked, for a problem they said they could not help with, I see almost all the negative reviews are about price and rude employees. read more
