Wanted to share a great experience with this company. I inherited a large rifle safe and had it shipped to a storage location near my home. Once there I started hunting for someone that could move it to my home. Everyone I talked to either was not interested in the job or seemed to think they could do it with a couple of furniture dollies and a hand truck. The safe is 28x56x72 and weights 1700lbs. When I found 1-800-4A-Gunsafe and talked to Shane I felt like maybe someone really had the experience with safes this size and weight and could do the job. I still had a fair amount of anxiety on the day of the move as there was lots that could go wrong. When Jax and Johnathan showed up they were punctual, respectful and as I found out, very well skilled and experienced. Professionals all the way. Where I wanted the safe was a pain in the *** to place. Only a few inches of excess space on the sides and had to step up over the sill while making a turn to get it into the room. A few weeks ago I ordered a Liberty safe from John and team. We arranged delivery for this past Friday. Friday evening after installing the shelves I changed the code accordingly but unfortunately the safe would not lock. It was "stuck" in the unlock position. I called John Sat at 11am, described the issue, he had me check a few things and was able to diagnose the rare defective problem over the phone. He had a replacement safe delivered THE SAME DAY WITHIN 2 HRS! I mean when is the last time you got that kind of customer service from anywhere or anyone? I was promised delivery on Friday between 10-12, at 12:01 I called to see if they would be arriving soon....the office said they didn't have my Name, Phone number, Address or a receipt with an invoice number.... I waited two weeks for delivery, spent time making sure nothing would interfere with delivery ....all furniture moved out of the way and even cleared another area just in case the first spot didn't work. They do not care about you or your time!! They did return my money without effort. Horrible experience with this company...I hope it guides you in your decision I was never told the safe could have been delivered today! Read the negative reviews and find it interesting that it seems like buyers remorse more so than poor service. You likely should do your research pryor to purchase. Went in, got very detailed information on pro's and con's on various safes. Found one that was made in the U.S., Company owned by a veteran, that overs a discount for Vets. Service was friendly, many safes on the floor from inexpensive imports to high dollar safes with price tags that make you eyes bug out.. Safe was available for next day install. The folks they sent out were professional and courteous, would not hesitate to recommend this business to others. read more

As a retired police officer, having a quality safe was important. After finding 4A Gunsafe / AZ Liberty Safe, and talking with the Shane, I knew this is where I wanted to purchase my safe. After spending over an hour reviewing the different brands and features a selection was made. The price was competitive and the safe was delivered on time. I've moved the safe twice, once inside the home and again when relocating. Both times I had 4A Gunsafe move my safe. The guys are more than professional, they are trustworthy. Yo In my new home I had the "dream location" for the safe though I truly didn't think it could be moved into this space. Wrong. They knew this location was important to me so they made it happen. There is one NEGATIVE comment. And, I believe it's the same for most safe owners. I should have gotten the next size larger. The, "Yea, all my stuff will fit in here," didn't work out as planned. There were other items I later came up with to I put in my safe. My recommendation? Follow what these guys tell you. They're not upselling you a larger safe. They made this really easy for me. I bought a safe at a different store, and they provided the pickup and delivery/install service for me. It took one call to set it up, I got the invoice right away and reminders before the delivery. I actually decided to go with a slightly smaller safe than the one I originally planned and the delivery crew caught it, called me from the store to make sure they got the right product. Nice touch, a level of care and detail not common in today's world. The install was a breeze too, they had all the tools including a super cool dolly and strips that they put on my floor to protect it as the safe slid into place. Recommended. read more

Their return policy is awful, and wasn't disclosed or clearly posted any where. Once the safe has been delivered they offer you 50% of the purchase price for any returns, even if it's the same day it was delivered. All the Safes they sell can be cut through in under 2 minutes by anyone with a steel carbide saw blade and a circular saw. I was literally just looking as I only recently decided to "consider" investing in a nice safe, and he was totally patient with that, not out off since j wasn't looking to but that day. I realized I had forgotten to post my review from some months ago! I needed a safe, but also had an issue where the maximum height I could use was lower than most. I wound up buying my safe from someone else, but one of these guys (Shane, I think?) installed it. I was very happy with his knowledge and care in getting my safe where it needed to be. Sadly, he couldn't bolt it to the floor as I didn't realize this house had a post-tension slab. But I'd call them in a heartbeat next time I need a safe! read more

Wish I could rate lesser than 1 star. Purchased small safe ( $150.00 ) on 8/30/2016. When purchased our home was under construction and not installed at that time and was advised installation at a later date would be no problem. ( No mention that installation ( drill a couple of lag bolts into concrete ) was to cost more than the safe. Advised owner ( Preston Scheier ) that based on that I would be returning the safe. ( in original box and not opened ) He stated that the warranty was one year but he could not resell because it only had 2 weeks left on warranty. ?????? What kind of warranty is this. ????? If I purchased on 8/30/2016 ( within one year ) how can I not have right to return He doesn't make sense. I will not never purchase any thing from this company, but I strongly recommend get every thing the owner says in writing. read more

Shane Nelson was great to deal with. Went in, discussed my needs and my price range, and Nelson made sure to tell me the ins and outs of all the safes in that range, features, and limitations. We selected a safe that fit my needs in my price range, completed the purchase, and setup a delivery for a week and a half later. On the day and time Shane specified, my safe arrived with the installers, they positioned in where I wanted and had everything setup and configured within minutes. When I got home it turns out the safe's default code had been changed accidentally and was not working. Despite this, Shane was able to contact the manufacturer and get the safe working that very evening. Couldn't be happier with the purchase and more satisfied. We recently moved from California to Arizona, and needed a large, secure storage area for our valuables and collectibles. As current Liberty Safe owners in CA, I logged into their website and was directed to Josh initially. We communicated via phone and email, and he was able to work up a very competitive quote. I finalized everything with a ten percent deposit, and waited to finish moving into our house in Cave Creek. Once we arrived in Arizona, I scheduled an install with Josh over the phone. On the prescribed appointment day the two man crew arrived in a non-descript white panel van. Discreet safe installs should be handled exactly like this. Jordan and Nathaniel introduced themselves to me and my wife. Jordan explained the install and set a very professional and friendly expectation right off the bat. These guys we great, and well equipped to handle our large job. Maybe their employer pays for their gym memberships? If not, maybe they should!?! Jordan set up the safe, unloaded it from the pallet, and installed the floor bolts to affix the safe to our foundation. He also installed the electrical outlet, and installed our de-humidifier. He then took the time to explain and help us set up the electronic lock function. Very nice. The whole time Nathaniel was busying himself in the background...breaking down boxes, organizing the van cargo, coiling extension cords...these guys were a great team! With the safe installed and leveled, Jordan took a few minutes more the finalize the account balance charges. He was able to take payment on his phone right in our home...so easy. They wrapped up, we shook hands, and Jordan and Nathaniel moved on to their next job. These guys were great, and I could not recommend this business more highly.
