Once there I started hunting for someone that could move it to my home. Everyone I talked to either was not interested in the job or seemed to think they could do it with a couple of furniture dollies and a hand truck. The safe is 28x56x72 and weights 1700lbs. When I found 1-800-4A-Gunsafe and talked to Shane I felt like maybe someone really had the experience with safes this size and weight and could do the job. I still had a fair amount of anxiety on the day of the move as there was lots that could go wrong. When Jax and Johnathan showed up they were punctual, respectful and as I found out, very well skilled and experienced. Professionals all the way. Where I wanted the safe was a pain in the *** to place. Only a few inches of excess space on the sides and had to step up over the sill while making a turn to get it into the room. I live in Peoria, specifically in Trilogy, which is about 2 miles west of the 303 freeway. When I called to request installation of a smart lock I was informed that their service area is only east of the 303, and therefore they could not provide service for me. When I asked if they could make an exception they told me that the owner would only do so if I payed an additional $125.00 for the job. This is false and misleading advertising, with no attempt at an equitable solution. I would not recommend using this company.

We then met him at the showroom to see the different products and make a final decision. The owner Anthony came out to measure and look at what type of support beam would need to be added. We felt confident in the entire team. The installers showed up at the scheduled time and were very professions and nice. They put dust barriers up to protect the house then went to work. They had estimated 5 days but completed in 3 days. They matched the pop outs and moved our electrical around so that it looks like it was always part of the house. The sliding glass doors open up our kitchen and family room to our outside living area, pool and waterfall. It makes our house seem much bigger and we love the new look and feel. We went with the La Cantina doors and from a product standpoint they are awesome. I am very impressed with Illumination, the team and process. I would definitely recommend them!!

Now friends, this is a very minor job compared to their full remodels but he was willing to help put my type A mind at ease.
