Not only did they move electrical outlets around in our newly remodeled kitchen, they also installed new Toto toilets with bidet seats. (Absolutely a must have.) They stayed on schedule, respected our budget with their very competitive pricing, and made the entire process surprisingly smooth, even when making some changes throughout. After reading all of the 5 star reviews on QC, I requested more information through Yelp. Marty contacted me within a couple of hours and we discussed my project. I recently moved into a brand new home and I wanted a custom wall unit for my office. The wall unit consisted of shelves, cabinets, and a desk. I wanted the wall unit to be integrated into the wall and appear as one piece. I looked at other companies (garage or closet organizers) and their product offerings all appeared to be modular. After Marty looked at my office, he sketched out the wall unit after taking multiple measurements then produced a quote. The price was reasonable so we negotiated a contract and I made a down payment. We agreed to an end of January delivery and installation date. Marty delivered the wall unit well ahead of schedule on January 8. He did the installation with his helper Nic who was very polite and professional. The installation appeared to go without a hitch which is what I expected from a craftsman with close to 60 years of experience. I highly recommend Quality Craftsman for anyone seeking high quality wood work products such as cabinets, desks, or furniture. I have attached a picture of the wall unit that I now have to decorate. I love my kitchen and I've also approached him about a future project. I had a basic 1970's era condo kitchen-outdated but can't really change the footprint. I tried to revive it with refacing. It still didn't function well, but I worked around it. A leak in the wall behind the cabinets, forced an unexpected remodel. I received estimates from several contractors using stock or RTA "IKEA" kitchen cabinets. The cabinets I saw in these stores did not seem as sturdy as my existing cabinets. I couldn't customize and would have similar unusable spaces where the pre-made cabinets are put together. The contractors and pre-made cabinet stores told me custom cabinets would cost twice as much as their estimates. While looking for design ideas, I saw multiple Houzz and Reddit posts stating a local carpenter could give me custom cabinets at a much better price. I am so glad I paid attention to the posts! That's how I found Sacramento Millworks. His price for my project was comparable to the quotes I received for stock cabinets. Raymond is a carpenter and a designer. Because of his experience, he handled everything. He walked me through everything, including a trip to the granite and tile shops. I just picked colors. He was very patient.
