The fence was totally done wrong and the wood is now separating on the fence only 6 months after his work. The height and the style was not even the same. You can see in-between the slates and the natural wood is showing. It's definitely a botched job all the way around. He over sprayed our fence into our neighbors pool and deck. I wanted to write a review so no one else wasted thousands of dollars on a terrible job. Our neighbor hated the work on the fence as well. Mike is a nice person but the quality is not there and he commits to work without writing it all down on his estimates so he isn't committed to follow it through. Be very cautious.

Jake arrived on time to the job every day, was friendly and happy to answer all of my questions...(and I had a lot). I found out i had a construction defect in my home last year as there is mold and water intrusion in all of my bathroom but i had clancy look at the downstairs as he was referred to me by my brother trying to figure out the assessment damage and at the time he was the only contractor i knew of and instead of being professional and just saying hes not sure hes equipped to inspect something like that he wastes my time by having me send him all my documentation over to look at then makes an appt after he goes on vacation then when he comes to the appointment without any inspection he looks side to side and says its wear and tear because of the way i pointed my shower head and when my husband argued with him about the fact he didnt inspect anything he puffed up his chest and reitterated its wear and tear. Then he told me i wouldnt have a case if i filed a claim with contractors board but if he knew what he was talking about he would know that the claim would fall under the department of real estate as because it was a new construction home i didnt contract the work with them rather they were already building when i purchased the home but he would know that if he knew what he was talking about. Plus 40 of neighbors are dealing with the same thing as we have an attorney and his contractors who pinpointed the defects simply by walking into the shower and stepping on the pan. Now im making this review because i sincerely hate people that think its ok to be dismissive and act like a shit head by blowing smoke up someones ass with little regard for their situation to give them non factual incorrect information because they didnt want to deal with it and didnt want to look stupid in front of their employee. Now is that really the reputation you want the public to think of you. Its repulsive and its not how you treat people.

I love my kitchen and I've also approached him about a future project. I had a basic 1970's era condo kitchen-outdated but can't really change the footprint. I tried to revive it with refacing. It still didn't function well, but I worked around it. A leak in the wall behind the cabinets, forced an unexpected remodel. I received estimates from several contractors using stock or RTA "IKEA" kitchen cabinets. The cabinets I saw in these stores did not seem as sturdy as my existing cabinets. I couldn't customize and would have similar unusable spaces where the pre-made cabinets are put together. The contractors and pre-made cabinet stores told me custom cabinets would cost twice as much as their estimates. While looking for design ideas, I saw multiple Houzz and Reddit posts stating a local carpenter could give me custom cabinets at a much better price. I am so glad I paid attention to the posts! That's how I found Sacramento Millworks. His price for my project was comparable to the quotes I received for stock cabinets. Raymond is a carpenter and a designer. Because of his experience, he handled everything. He walked me through everything, including a trip to the granite and tile shops. I just picked colors. He was very patient. Most of contractors I've worked with recently send employees to do the work. They just pop in here and there until it's time for payment. Raymond was on site working with one helper everyday.
