I called and spoke with Todd regarding raising our sectional sofa which was too low to the floor. Sent pictures and measurements of the legs. Wanted to go from 2 1/4 to at least 5 in. (we are tall people). Todd came out with sample legs and what a difference. I have a custom piece from Mexico called an "Alibrije". It's a mythical wooden animal that is half horse and half phoenix. It fell and a couple of its wooden feathers were broken. I called Todd and he came to check it out to see if he could repair it. This man made magic. He was able to repair the broken wooden feathers back and fixed the wooden structure. Todd took longer than what he quoted on the original estimate. He added more money to the original amount as he said I needed new feet on the bookcase. I think this is something he saw when he visually inspected the furniture and should have been included in the price. When it was delivered there was a large dent in the wood on bottom of bookcase. He had to take back to shop to repair. Weeks later I opened the bottom middle drawer and noticed the back of the lock plate was not properly attached. I made a mental note to call him to fix it. I totally forgot as I never opened that drawer until recently and then saw the unattached plate again. I called Todd and sent him a picture. He refuses to fix this and went so far as to tell me that I made this happen! Are you kidding me? I would never break something and call someone to come fix it! Completely unprofessional response to this! He didn't even come to look at the drawer. He would be able to actually see it is nothing I could have done. Horrible experience! read more

My project was an entertainment center alteration. Todd is a craftsman that does high quality work and is pleasant to work with. I have a nearly twenty-year-old hutch that bolts together with three other pieces to form an entertainment center. It's made of alder wood and has a medium-colored stain. To make room for a larger television, Todd carefully removed a fixed shelf, narrowed each side of fluted vertical trim by sawing off two pieces 5 feet long by 1 inch wide on each side, replaced the shelf's facing with a longer facing, color matched the entertainment center's stained finish as close as possible, and then carefully stained and finished the new wood to match the original piece. I was totally satisfied and thrilled with the final result! He executed exactly what I had envisioned, allowing me to install a new TV larger than what the entertainment center was initially built to hold. Considering such a project was stressful because an error might not only ruin the hutch but also the look of the entire entertainment center as a whole. The cutting needed to be precise, and the staining needed to be carefully matched so as not to stick out like a sore thumb. Todd accomplished both. I also appreciated how he listened to what I was envisioning, so carefully loaded and unloaded the piece for transport to his workshop, and kept me informed when the stain he was expecting was delayed a few days. In addition, I felt his charges were reasonable, especially for the expertise and dedication he brought to the project. Highly recommend! read more

Unfortunately he scratched the tabletop all over, and if that was not enough, we created hazy spots in the finish by placing hot items on the table without good enough insulation.
