Overcharged and Underserved…read more Our 8 year old minivan was a mess, so we knew it would be a challenge. We ordered the most expensive package, the Extreme for extra-large vehicle. The website said it was $279 and could take up to 7 hours. The guy from SVAD came out for the pick up and looked at the van and said the interior would need extra work and asked if they could skip the exterior cleaning so he could still "get it done under $300". I said that would be fine so long as it was very well done and the door jambs and seals were cleaned and conditioned as well (which is part of the extreme package deal). He agreed and took the van. He later called my wife and said he would need an extra $150 for extra time to work or he would bring it back unfinished. We needed it clean, so she said yes. Here's the kicker, they brought it back in 7 hours! That's the time their website says it typically takes. So we were charged for extra time that wasn't used. We also paid extra (by forfeiting the exterior work) for an interior job that was very poorly done (see pics). So for just under $450, we got a mediocre interior cleaning, and they did not clean or condition the door jambs and seals (see pics). I could have done that myself for about 20 bucks at the carwash, and probably would have done a better job. There are still stains on the carpet that I was able to remove with carpet spot remover. There was still loose debri like wrappers and sand on the carpet, the pockets on the seats were not cleaned and still had toddler-produced toxic waste in them. As a biz owner myself, I hate it when people leave negative reviews without attempting to contact me and giving me a chance to make it right. I emailed SVAD and requested a refund of the extra $150 they charged us (I did not ask for full refund, though I felt I had grounds to do so), it has been 1 week now with no reply. If you do business with these guys be sure to get your expectations and pricing in writing, best to stay away altogether. I should add that the gentleman from SVAD was super nice and friendly, I wanted to support his business and was very disappointed with their lack of effort and communication.

I made my appointment 2 weeks prior so the fact that I wasn't made aware of this fee until the night before the service is crazy. I opted to cancel my appointment all together, I'm not a fan of how they manage their business. He communicated well, and did a great job finding mold in places I didn't know to look, which justified upgrading from a tier 1 to a tier 2 mold option. There are two small dark spots on my light gray leather that he was unable to completely remove, easily ignored. My only complaint is he did not have the ingredients listing for three of the solutions he used for cleaning (understandably filled at the shop by someone else into refillable spray bottles). I declined the front headlights to get tinted so when I was on my way to pick it up I got a call saying if I wanted to get my headlights tinted they would do it for 25% off or something like that and I still declined. I show up and both headlights are fully tinted. Then she says oh, well we will did that for free. Lol, yeah. 5 days after this I noticed two big chips in my hood. I took it back and argued with the owner for about 15min about it. I believe they stretched it way too thin and when I said that is what I thought he blew up. He offered to redo it but I would have to pay. We left it at that. I don't recommend this place because it seems once you pay and are out the door they don't care about you anymore.
