BUYER BE AWARE! If a negative number was possible a (-) 5 would be my review as someone impacted by their roofing project. They blocked ingress and egress of (5) five homes in our HOA with their vehicles and we had other NO OTHER access outside the neighborhood. PEOPLE HAD TO DRIVE ON SIDEWALKS to exit the community!! The homeowner and site manager saw no issue with the lack of access outside of the neighborhood. THIS WAS AFTER A CONSERVATION WITH THE HOMEOWNER AND SITE MANAGER AFTER AN HOUR AN HALF OF BLOCKAGE. Don't expect your neighbors to do the right thing. Oh and by the way the manager stopped by in the afternoon to "apologize" for the neighbors inconvenience... HOLLOW WORDS... I act with reviews and dollars as should you. Who doesn't need to get to work or take children to school after 7 AM? What labially does the homeowner and company take for eliminating access for emergency vehicles in an area? If I could post images of this lack of planning and creative solutioning; I WOULD. So over 6 years ago I contacted this company and a person named Adam came out and sealed some vents for me on my roof. I had just purchased my home and wasn't charged, he just said keep him in mind in the future. Welcome to the future! It was time for a new roof and I had his contact info saved in my phone. The whole process went smooth, dealing with the insurance company not so much, but that has nothing to do with the new roof ;) Adam was professional and ordered the product after giving me an estimate and making an adjustment I requested for some extra vents. Fast forward a few weeks later and as promised the crew showed up at sunup around 7AM. They worked to get the existing roof tore off within a few hours, did repairs, they started new shingle install. Everything was wrapped up by approx 3PM. They did a pretty good job cleaning up, however a few nails remained on the roof as well as in the gutters and a tip from a caulk tube. Not a huge deal, but worth the mention. There was also a piece of shingle trimming in the gutter. All in all I am completely satisfied and would recommend their work. Ace Roofing just transformed my house with a stunning standing seam metal roof, and I couldn't be happier! I was initially hesitant about the cost, but when both neighbors are flaunting their metal roofs, and your wife keeps commenting how great they look, resistance is futile. I was initially on the fence about the cost, but after getting three competitive bids, Ace came through with by far the best pricing, so it made the choice a bit easier - so glad I went forward. Maston's crew were absolute pros--efficient, experienced, and did an incredible job. The new 6-inch gutters? Perfect finishing touch! I had a minor issue with the gutter installation, but they came right back out and fixed it, no problem. Now, the only small downside: when they removed my skylights, instead of cleaning them before reinstallation, someone decided to draw faces and hearts in the grime. Cute? Sure. But now I've got to climb up there and clean them myself. I would've preferred they took care of that detail, but hey, everything else was top-notch! We reached out to Amous to repair hail damage back in April, and signed a contract to get our roof replaced as well as trim on our chimney while they were up there. The actual roof didn't come in until August (4 months later) because the wrong material were initially ordered, and during the job we had to deal with - Insufficient materials, dragging the installation process out three days - Roofers trying to cut corners by putting new shingles over 20 year old underlayment - Damage to landscaping lights - Damage to our fence - Trash and materials left in our yard - Ridge vents on our shed that were thrown away and not re-used. At the end of the day we're left holding the bag to re-paint trim and find someone else to do the chimney. The finished roof looks nice, but I'd say this company is average at best, and definitely not worth 5 stars. The pictures attached show how our house was left when crews left (bare plywood, new shingles on old underlayment), chimney not touched, some of the damage and trash, however there's still more (damaged lights, empty cans, etc.) not pictured. read more

DJ and crew did an incredible job from start to finish...from creating a custom wrap for our chimney flashing, to stripping, re-decking and shingling our roof in just one single day, that we asked for more extensive work from their team. After spending a portion of our own career in the construction trades we were very impressed with the quality, responsiveness and integrity of the team at ACE and would highly recommend them to neighbors and friends (already have on several occasions these last couple weeks)! They also coordinated services with our insurance and another contractor with minimal effort on our part to help ease the project management side!! I recently had my roof replaced due to hail damage. Being new to the state, I had several questions regarding the entire process. Clay was knowledgable, patient, and helpful throughout every step of the process. As an unexpected bonus, he also is great with dogs! My one-year ridgeback, Star, can be hyper and stubborn (and of course, she's a natural protector - not always welcoming of strangers). This old tree in my backyard will be the death of me but it's good to know Ace Roofing is on my side and will save the day. This is the second time Bill Sprauer from Ace has come out within a couple of hours of contacting Ace and taken a look at my roof. The first time, last year, he fixed an issue with an exhaust pipe within minutes and I hadn't had an issue since even through a couple of bad storms. This time, a darn branch from an old tree (which was previously trimmed) fell last fall which damaged a shingle and punctured a hole into the roof. Once again, Bill has taken care of it within minutes and without charging me a cent. Bill, as always, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He does not pressure you into unnecessary repairs and even provided a referral to a good drywall technician. I'm technically still under warranty with another company but having not heard from them after numerous calls, I decided to try my luck with Ace. I recently had a roof leak due to damage around the roof pipes (Venting system). Ace roofing came out and gave an estimate that was reasonable. The damage appears to have developed over years of those spots being gnawed on by our local critters. (Squirrels, raccoons ?) They took numerous pictures before, during repairs and afterwards. I appreciated the photos since senior citizens shouldn't try climbing on their roofs. (Two story house with two levels of roofing). The very next day heavy rains came through and no additional leaking has been noticed. We plan to have the whole asphalt roof replaced with a metal roof shortly. Ace indicated if they handle the replacement, the cost of that repair would be subtracted from the replacement cost. That is good customer service. read more

Where to start - These guys were fantastic. Last year during the heavy September rains, we had a leak around our chimney and called around for bids. I had some roofers say they would not do such a repair. But Adam came out and was willing to do the repair and he also bid a new roof. At that time a new roof was more than we could afford, however, we realized we needed to plan it in. We did a temp fix to buy us some time to get the funds we needed. When it came time for the reroof, I remember how Adam was so prompt and willing to help us in our time of "need". I called a couple of other roofer for bids. The Ace Roofing bid we got really addressed our area of concern - the chimney - more than our other bid. Adam explained all aspects of the job - ventilation, skylights, roof slope in one section. He even was willing to get the guys to pressure wash the chimney too so I did not need to do it. We decided Ace was the right company for the job and in just 1 week the guys were scheduled to come out. Friday morning about 12 guys converged on the roof. And by 6pm that evening we had our new roof. All the old chimney flashing was replaced (other company wanted to just keep it) and a team came out to remortar the chimney as needed. The guys were courteous and did a great job protecting our pool from getting dirty. Adam came back on Saturday am and did a run around the property to make sure there were no "loose ends", no nails lying around and answered more questions from us. I can't say enough good things about Ace roofing, Maston and his whole team. Austin had a terrible hail storm recently and our roof got pelted. Maston was out and on the roof the very next day for an inspection. He said our roof met the criteria to be submitted to our insurance, got the name of our insurance company and set up a time for them to all meet at our house and evaluate. Being our first time replacing a roof, we had no idea what to do or expect. Maston was there and walked us through the whole experience answering any and all questions we had. Once we got approval from insurance, Maston provided us with shingle samples and basically all we had to do was choose our favorite and send the info back to him. When the day came to replace the roof, the entire team worked quickly and efficiently. They were very thorough and even worked in the pouring rain making sure to get everything done. My main concern was nails or scraps being left in the yard that my dogs might step on. So first off, everyone knows Texas weather is just dumb. So dumb. Frustratingly dumb. So of course, a recent hail storm decided to literally ruin my roof. Things were going too well for too long. I come home one day and there is like a bubble, in my kitchen ceiling that I want to poke so bad but I don't because I am an adult. The next day, it is gone so my thought was "whew that could have been bad" and I go to work. Fast forward to 13 hours later when I walk inside my house and my ceiling is no longer where my ceiling should be. Ok. This is fine. I found my cat, swept up an excessive amount of insulation, and called my claims adjuster to let him know. Fast forward, it is January 7th. I do the quote option on Yelp because this is the first time I have ever had any major work done on my house and the people my insurance appraiser referred had terrible reviews. I am contacted almost before I hit submit and Adam is out within days to look at my roof and ceiling. Honestly, it was creepily fast. He worked with my schedule and was there when he said he would be. He got out a ladder and climbed up on my roof and even put a tarp up so it wouldn't continue to rain inside my condo. I could hear him walking around and while I was very pleased with the thoroughness of the inspection, I was also super anxious he would fall through and die and I would never be able to sell my condo ever in the future. Luckily, he made it down in one piece, explained everything and even took the insurance appraisers estimate so he could review what they thought and work directly with them. The roof install? Never even saw it happen. I just came home and had a brand new roof. Adam kept in touch through each step of the process and I never felt like I was being talked down to.
