I highly recommend Larry and his team of moving gurus. Having done a move about 6 years ago with another lesser known company, I already had a bad taste in my mouth when it came to movers. I didn't expect much but just needed someone to move my family and i back to the east coast. Larry came recommended to me by my boss. He came and he was super friendly and personable. He seems to enjoy his job and was very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and then some. He also checked back in with me after we met which none of the other quoters did. I did my due diligence and checked around for pricing with the other big moving companies and his was actually the lowest with a not to exceed quote. So we went with him with the estimate that it may take about 2ish weeks max to get my stuff. Well Jim and his moving team came and moved us out. Took about 9 hours but they got our whole townhouse out and fit it into their truck in perfect tetris order. I was actually worried he wouldnt get it all in there but he did. Him and his team were also super nice and easy to talk to. He kept in touch with my husband during the drive from CA to NC and kept us up to date on where he was and when he would be there. Guys, he got there in like 5 days. So instead of waiting 2 weeks for our stuff like we thought, he got there super fast, unloaded our stuff and put together everything and was on his way. His east coast team was also great and worked through heat and a broken ac. sorry guys! They were careful not to be too messy or mess up walls and I appreciated that. My only MINOR complaint is that he said he would be at our place at 8 but didnt show up til closer to 10:30. But that's no biggie as he was about a week early during peak season. Jim packed our whole kitchen since I knew if we did it everything would be broken. The only thing that broke during transit was my own fault. Nothing seems to be lost that I can tell. I do recommend as we did have a great experience compared to the last move. Thanks guys! Also, treat your movers well! Give them water and food! We recently moved from California to New Hampshire. Anna Armstrong was the first person to respond as we had three bids coming in. Because of her years of experience she has amazing accuracy as she prepares your estimate. What I really appreciated was that our bid was a binding estimate. In other words, some places do a preliminary and when you move, they weigh the truck and you risk it could be more (or possibly less). Knowing the fixed amount allows one to better plan. The other bids may have been slightly less, but I knew we would have the support of Anna and Ace throughout the process. Anna personally delivered the boxes and packing materials that we would need. We used Ace as part of our move (through Atlas Vanlines) from the east coast to the OC. We only used Ace for storage and retrieval of the stored shipment. We used our own movers because Atlas gave us a very pricey quote. I would say Ace was the best part of the entire move. The coordinator Susan was very responsive and patient with our questions and requests. More importantly, Susan was punctual with her information which helps us in staying sane during such a big move. #BUYERBEWARE The folks at Ace Relocation Long Beach are scammers! My husband & I moved from CA to PA back in April & had a signed contract with an agreed price. We paid it IN FULL on delivery with a zero balance due receipt to prove it. MONTHS later they start sending us bills for another $3600+ claiming the rep undercharged us! WTF?? Can you believe these fools?? Spoke to the GM there only to get unfulfilled promises of resolve as they sent yet ANOTHER bill from the accounting department - this time for $2600+. I guess they think they're doing us a "favor" by 'discounting' the total by a grand as a settlement offer? Whatever! All they're doing is pissisn me off as I'm one nerve away from calling a lawyer (AND the local TV station) about this! read more

They wrapped and cared for our belongings as if they were their own. We had every single item come off the truck that we put on. We had three companies come in and give us estimates. Larry's was the best price (BY FAR) and he was also the only person who came in and actually took the time to sit down and explain all the steps, all the costs, all the things we needed to do and answer all of our questions. Once we agreed to hire ACE, things went very smoothly. The packers arrived on time and were very careful getting everything into boxes and on the truck. We were told that everything would arrive in Massachusetts between 7/6 and 7/20 - a large window, but a cross country move so it was to be expected. The driver called us a few times to tell us how much progress he was making and, to our surprise, they got there on 7/6. Unpacking was done just as carefully, and very quickly. We thought the movers had lost something, so we called and ACE was ready to help us make a claim for the lost item with no excuses or other nonsense. These guys are awesome. They recently did our move from LA to Boston. They did exactly what they promised they would do - get our stuff to Boston when we needed it, and load/unload it from their truck with the minimum of hassle and the maximum of efficiency. Our driver, Reza, was a total rockstar. He kept us appraised of his progress across the country, and delivered our stuff even earlier than promised once he figured out that would be helpful to us. Also, they said they would charge us less if we came in under their weight estimate, and since we did (after I spent a week in the hell of throwing away, having a garage sale, and hauling stuff to Goodwill), they did. Excellent movers. I've never used movers before & I have to say they were extremely polite & professional. I was very worried about my TV's & Computer. Larry, was very patient & calming. A long-distance interstate move (in our case from California to Tennessee) can be very daunting and stressful. Some moving companies that we contacted do "estimates" by phone (?) and are really just brokers for whatever outfits they can find to actually do the job. We we very glad that we picked Ace Relocation, who provided outstanding service in all areas. Anna Armstrong was our account specialist. She gave us the best imaginable help in personally coming to our house (several times) to do eyes-on walk-throughs, giving us detailed estimates, providing moving tips/guidance, and bringing packing boxes/tape/paper. She was professional, personable, supportive, honest, and reassuring. Anna was always there for us (in person, by phone, or by email/text). The whole moving experience would have been overwhelming without her. She also followed up with phone calls after our move to make sure we were totally satisfied. Jeanette Dousharm coordinated our move, keeping in touch with us throughout the whole process. She was cooperative and helpful in scheduling (including making changes) the pick-up and delivery dates, coordinating with the van driver, and checking in on us before/during/after our move. As for the actual move, Jim Lowe and his crew were awesome on both pick-up and delivery days. They were hard-working, skillful, efficient, and courteous in all areas (including packing, disassembling, loading, unloading, reassembling). I'm smack dab in the middle of a move that is being handled by Ace. The communication has been so valuable. I couldn't ask for a better crew. 3 men have packed my entire house in 2 days. The options are all being made clear. They are kind and considerate with every step. These people have seen it all, and the result is they anticipate my moving needs before I do. When I said a room was ready to pack they looked around and spotted the things I might want... like my phone charger ! They completely attack a room once you say it's ready to pack and believe me EVERY thing gets packed ! Ace Relocation did a great job with my recent move from LA to DC area. Larry Buckle estimated the job and was spot on for the number of boxes and very close with weight. He estimated the job in 2 different ways and even dropped in on request when we were overwhelmed with our self-packing (our job was part custom-pack and part self-pack). Susan Matheson is the moving coordinator who did a great job and even corrected a mistake I had made (we purchased partly new boxes and partly used.) We recently completed a 30-mile move from Orange to Los Angeles County using Ace Relocation. We had 13 years of stuff to move, including two kids and two dogs. To my delight, Anna Armstrong, our top-notch Ace move consultant, and the A+ team that moved us made our relocation seamless and actually fun!
