Found this team on Yelp and they were so quick to respond! I admit I procrastinated a bit and most other bigger moving companies were booked up for a Saturday/weekend move, but A2 was thankfully available (and also happy to support a smaller, local business). This was also my first time hiring movers so I was a bit nervous but everything turned out so well and this was honestly the best decision and money spent. Never doing a move on my own again because I'm definitely calling up these guys next time too! My two movers were Faruk and Nick and they were super communicative about heading out and over to point A via text with an eta as well. They were also on time based on my initial confirmation. Nicest guys ever - super patient with all questions and definitely handled this job with immense care. Cost-wise - they charged hourly which is sometimes intimidating but they were SO QUICK. It ended up being less than I mentally budgeted, which was a great win in terms of value! I didn't have any appliances but I did have a sectional, mattress, frame, and even tall cat tree, along with multiple HUGE storage boxes that I pre-packed (hey, a girl needs her clothes). I opted to disassemble most things so that it would be quicker for the team but even then, they definitely came ready with all the necessary supplies to make sure things were wrapped up, protected, and travel-friendly. ALSO with my luck, of course it was POURING RAIN the one day I decided to move across town (to Los Angeles where there is minimal street space and flooding issues). My apartment is on the 2ND FLOOR up an incline and uncovered. With permission, the team waited patiently in their truck - no charge - until the rain calmed down a bit so that my stuff wouldn't get wet and damaged. Once the rain calmed, they were so quick to get moving and get the job done. Shoutout to them for being so mindful, especially since they're hourly! Overall - AMAZING experience. You can tell these guys care about the quality of their work and the overall experience for the customers. Will definitely ask to request Faruk and Nick again for my next move, and would 1000% recommend to any family/friends/peers. TRUST ME, get the movers. They're the greatest luxury you get treat yourself, especially since you're already stressed with moving prep. read more

I had a great experience with A2 Movers last week. Movers are worth every penny, and the team--Ben, Joel, and Mike--made the whole process smooth and stress-free. They arrived right on time, worked efficiently, handled everything with care, and were very easygoing throughout the move. Ben did a great job communicating with me during the process. He made thoughtful suggestions, like packing my vacuum last so I could clean before leaving my old place. All my belongings arrived safely with no damage. They also helped move items to my on-site storage and even repositioned furniture in my new apartment so I could see different setups--super helpful and appreciated. That said, I'm writing this review because I was asked to do so both before the movers left and again later that same day. Gregory, our onsite lead, was responsive, well organized, and his four-person crew worked very hard. My advice to anyone moving is to be realistic about how much stuff you have. I got three quotes. One company estimated one-and-a-half 27-foot trucks, while Royal and another company estimated one 27-foot truck. My move-out apartment was 895 sq ft with a large patio. Before moving day, I made two 10-foot Home Depot truck trips myself with the delicate and bulky items: my electric bike, Peloton, and other things that don't stack well. Royal filled a 27-foot truck with everything else, efficiently using all the available space. We did go a little over the estimate because of rush-hour traffic. The only part I didn't enjoy was the payment app prompting for a tip at checkout. After a long moving day, that was one unnecessary stress point because I never know what's considered an appropriate tip for professional movers. Fortunately, I had already planned ahead with cash tips and cold Gatorades for the crew throughout the day. I highly recommend Royal Movers. They made a difficult move much easier. The reason why I am writing this review is the affordability of their price, high productivity of their movers, and the high level of service they provided during the move. First of all, I want to mention that I spent almost a week to search an appropriate company for my move to our new house (it was special for our family because we, eventually, bought the house after renting almost 8 years) which I wanted to be less nervous and with good memories. I decided A2 Moving as a responsible company for my move according to their price and communication process. So, the first part was done by choosing the right company. Secondly, everyone who has ever had experience of moving knows that the main and important part is going to start when movers come to your place. All the movers I had before were late at least for 1 hour or just showed up without any confirmation. This time, surprisingly for me I had a call from the movers 30 minutes' prior to the arrival time asking me some additional information regarding the parking space for their truck. Then they arrived 5 minutes before the confirmed starting time. I hired four movers and all of them were efficient during the move. Essentially I want to point out their organizational skills. One of them was wrapping all furniture inside, two movers were moving them into the truck, and one mover was playing Tetris inside the truck:). I thought I would have requested for two trucks but they were able to put everything into one truck. Finally, we got to the new house and they started unloading immediately. Everything was highly organized because each of them knew what to do. They put all my furniture, boxes, even miscellaneous into the right place where I asked for. Overall, my move from 2 bdrm 2 bath house into 3 bdrm two story house took 10 hours with 1.5 hours of double driving time. Regrettably, several items were damaged during the move, and we are now faced with persistent adhesive residue on our dishes. When I reached out to the manager, Nick, he shifted the responsibility onto me without offering any solutions. Consequently, I found myself compelled to engage another moving company to handle the remainder of our items, incurring additional, unforeseen costs. In our history of interstate relocations, this experience stands out as the most taxing and unprofessional. It is my hope that this feedback proves beneficial to others. - - I would like to express my disappointment with the recent move that your company facilitated. While I appreciate your efforts to move my belongings, there were several issues that arose during the process. It took a team of 3 over 11 hours to load a truck, despite most of the house being packed and everything disassembled. Additionally, there were other heavy items that needed to be moved, along with a shelf that was not packed in the kitchen. Despite these items being communicated to your team, they were not adequately prepared to handle them. As a result, I had to hire another company to move these items separately. Furthermore, I was extremely disappointed with the level of customer service that was provided. There was a clear miscalculation in terms of the amount of items that could fit in the 26' truck, and no additional support was offered to your team or compensation for the rest of my belongings. Second FANTASTIC experience with A2. This time (06.2024) Farukh and Arsen moved me so effectively and efficiently and were also 100 percent lovely to work with! I have a few delicate pieces. Which they wrapped with great care. They also moved some 'buy nothing' gifts to my garage and wrapped them up too - whoever gets them with feel like they have presents! Will absolutely use them again. Absolutely recommend them to you and any other friend too! *** I wish I could give 20 stars! Every stage of their service was on point. Nick, Omar and Eric were spectacular!!! They arrived on time, expecting 3 hours - it took us 7, but they never stopped moving or smiling. They wrapped things up so well, they could have dropped them from the top of Staples Center without causing a scratch. Still, they took great care with my things and with both my former and current homes. I had directed a big box to the garage for later sorting - Omar noticed a box with my French press and smoothie maker and ensured that it made it to the kitchen and that I knew where it was. I'll be grateful for that every morning until forever! Among the 3 of them, all spoke English and a few other languages, including French, Russian and Arabic. One was pursuing a masters in engineering. Totally overqualified for what I needed, but it made a hard move fly. A2 was the first to supply a quote. We had Team Han from A2 Moving move the equivalent of a studio apartment's worth of furniture between a condo in LA to a house in San Diego. THEY ARE FANTASTIC. The primary reason we needed them was 1) for a very large, heavy sofa to get through a complicated doorway and hallway angle. It took Living Spaces delivery men an hour to figure out how to get the sofa IN however Team Han figured out in just 5 minutes how to angle it OUT. So fast! They even debated moving it over the balcony (they considered everything!). Also, 2) We had an $8,000 Sleep Number bed that needed to be carried out delicately (note: we disassembled most of the electronic parts ourselves the night before). I was truly worried about this one. But upon delivery, everything is working now again! A2 Moving/Team Han are SMART, careful, POLITE, very fair, strong, thoughtful, professional, and know how to get stuff DONE right. THESE GUYS ARE SOOO GOOD. On the receiving end, they unloaded everything in under 45 minutes including getting that sofa, the bed, and other things up to the 2nd floor!!! I haven't finished unpacking everything; but so far I'll gladly use them again for more moves and highly recommend them!!! Also note, we move pretty often ourselves. So we thought we had considered everything already (all boxes labeled, numbered ourselves; wires and loose objects securely fastened; all objects in one place, etc). Well, the A2 Moving company was chosen by our main headquarters. The guys have been on the service market for an impressive number of years, and at the current time they have earned a good reputation, ehich is why our company has long been cooperating with them when needed. Personally, I would add that here works cool managers! We were answered promptly, clearly and without unnecessary information. In general, our road was to take only 50 miles, but since the whole office was moving, of course we decided to hire a crew of specialists to help us with it. They, in their turn, showed us the licenses and we got a guarantee for the safety of all the things during the move, which is really great, because we were to transport computers, headsets, expensive furniture and a lot of brittle items. One working hour was estimated at $110. So, I would say that the prices for services are competitive. For precautions: everyone came in masks, gloves, with their own sanitizers, trying to keep the distance between us all the working time. We're a family of 4. We have 2 small boys. My fiancé is the one who hired them. Moving from a one bedroom apartment, to a 3 story town home, I really didn't think that we needed to hire movers. (Thinking we could do it all, renting a U-Haul for 6 hours) I was wrong! We STILL NEEDED THEM!!! We only had this weekend to move since it's Christmas weekend, and we needed to be out of the apartment by the end of the month. (Us working Full time.) Farouk and Dan were amazing! They are so polite and friendly! Such professionals! There was no way we would have packed everything, the way they and They handled all our belongings so well and carefully. Full-Service move from LA to SF. (398 miles) Bjo and Bek arrived at 8 am our place as we scheduled, they surveyed how much boxes and furniture and started moving. All of our items were handled respectfully and moved delicately. They worked quickly and even managed to lift our heavy dresser up two flights of stairs much quicker than expected, given it was a large bulky piece of furniture moving through a very tight space. They even took apart our bed frame really quick which is a surprise as it took my husband an hour the last time. They arrived at evening our new place in San Francisco and started unloading. I'm sure they were exhausted and didn't stop driving. All my stuff was not broken or mishandled in this long trip. It took them about 2.5 hours to unload and finish the move. This is the second time I've used A2 for a residential move within the past 18 months. This time from Burbank to Pasadena. I scheduled the move online about two weeks out and finally the dreaded day had arrived. I said dreaded because no one looks forward to the actual process of moving. However, from my two experiences, the actual movers were professional, polite and for the most part efficient. Prior to arrival, I received a phone call from David who was one half of the two men job. He noted that his driver, Alan, could not find street parking outside my building. Eventually when they did, David did not start the time until they secured parked. The move was straightforward, no hiccups. They had a system where one would stay with the truck, securing the items which were not yet moved while the other brought the other items up the elevator and into the unit. Our move was on Sept 5, 2019. This is the second time I have used A-2 Movers - owner Nick once again was kind, quick to respond and reasonable with the cost to move me again. This time it was further and the two young men, Ricky and Bic were fantastic! They worked hard to pack and load non-stop, with only a few minutes for lunch after everything was loaded. They were patient, respectful and their disposition was well mannered, They never complained and always answered my questions with a smile. They had a long journey to and fro with no complaining. Victor and Ernesto were amazing! They were professional, friendly, and made what could've been a really stressful move feel so much easier. I was pretty anxious about the whole moving process, but they were reassuring and efficient from start to finish. They handled all of my furniture and belongings with care while still working incredibly fast. They also kept me updated on their ETA, even when they were slightly delayed because of a fire, which I really appreciated. These guys are amazing! We were quoted for a couple guys to move our 4 bedroom home but they sent more guys from the start to make sure everything was moved quicker. They made sure to shrink wrap furniture to prevent and damage during transit. All was "handled with care". We had ALOT of stuff to move to a storage facility and they did so quickly and efficiently. They worked so hard the whole time and with a sense of urgency (but not carelessly rushing) we actually had to tell them to take a break! I bet they are all good at tetris because they packed the truck and the storage facility so neatly! Looking forward to the same crew helping us out of the storage and into our new home. Sulant was very professional and courteous and explained the companies process and gave me a quote with his suggestion of how many people I need and the time it should take to complete. I asked if I could add a stop at my daughters house to pick up somethings and he agreed to do that. we set the day and time they showed up a few minutes early removed my belongings from storage , picked up the items from my daughters and delivered and setup all the things I requested under the 3 hours he had quote. They took it upon themselves to do it with out my knowledge or consent. When I contacted them again they refused to answer me . Finally got a text with these lies. On top of it the movers did not speak English and were terrified that if I field a claim they would be fired - since they were not legally in this country .
