Terrible experience. I communicated before booking that I was on a time constraint. The crew arrived almost 2 hours late with poor communication and false excuses about delays. They came unprepared with no proper tools, no moving blankets, and even asked to borrow my drill and plastic bags. Several walls were damaged due to careless handling, and they were sloppy and unprofessional throughout the move. One mover was argumentative when I expressed frustration, and they tried to claim bed screws were "bad" simply because they didn't want to assemble it properly. My boyfriend ended up moving most of the furniture himself just to keep things on schedule. After all the stress and inconvenience, they offered only a $40 discount. I wish I wasn't under pressure and that I had other options because I would have cancelled. What is worse is that they don't acknowledge or address your full concerns. They pick and choose. Thank you guys, so much! I had to move out of my storage and into my new place, yesterday, and didn't think I could find anyone to help me. I yelped to find any movers nearby and found you guys! I thought everyone would be booked since it was so last minute but they picked up the phone and scheduled me in! 3 guys for $176 an hour seemed a lot but they worked hard and pretty fast so it was WORTH every penny! I helped a little (or... hopefully wasn't in their way) but we emptied my 10 x 12 storage unit in just under 2 hrs and then met them at my new place and even with stairs, they hustled and worked hard! Whew! Their teamwork was great! They took everything up 2 flights of wooden stairways (sorry guys!) and didn't stop. They had a timer on so they were honest and trustworthy! Recently, my family used this company to move several household items, furniture, clothes, etc. from a storage facility in Long Beach to a residence in Los Angeles. During the pickup at the storage facility, a valuable bicycle was stolen off of the truck. Since this item was on this company's truck, we expected compensation for the item that was stolen. However, the company refuses to reimburse us for our loss. Needless to say, we are extremely disappointed with their decision. I went with movers for a heavy item for them to break it. Should have been honest and said they couldn't do it and I would have just been out 100$ instead of my bed and 700$. No apologies, no nothing. Tried hiding the fact they even broke it. On my quote request, the first thing I said was I DIDNT WANT IT TAKEN APART, only to walk into the room and them taking it apart. Instead of talking to me about it, my husband was pulled aside to confirm with the second gentleman that was there, that he did in fact take back the 100$ tip they were previously handed. They CANCELED my move on the scheduled day and left me high and dry... do not use them... I booked a move over a week in advance. First, a moving crew arrived at my apartment a day early and i was not ready to move. Turns out they input the date incorrectly, but agreed to move me the next day. Attempt two: movers arrive at my apartment, tell me their truck isnt big enough and leave!! They assured me they would be sending a bigger truck which did not happen. I call Movers Long Beach and was told there's nothing they can do, and can't send a crew to me for another week. But i'm already packed and my lease ends in 2 days. At this point, I had no options. I tried calling at least 40 other moving companies. Movers Long Beach provided terrible service, inadequate scheduling and no accommodation after they failed to send a properly sized truck (they asked no questions about the size of move...) This is the second time I've used this service. The first time was in October of 2019. That experience was awesome. They sent a crew of 3 guys and charged $163/ hour. These dudes HUSTLED toting 3 boxes at a time and finished in 6 hours. Boxes were placed in the rooms labeled. No damage to belongings or property. They must be under new management because yesterday's experience was another story. Our 2021 crew consisted of 4 guys and this time they charged $240/hour. I figured with the pandemic, supporting local business, awesome first experience, why not? Major regrets now... yesterday took 10+ hours and we did NOT have that much more stuff. I requested for 6 wardrobe boxes, they only brought 4. It was painful watching them move one box at a time, leave clearly labeled boxes in the hallway downstairs when they should have been placed in a room upstairs, destroy a desk and entry way table, leave a hole in the wall, bring boxes and furniture that were supposed to be left behind for donation... we definitely will never use this service and cannot recommend this business to others. read more

Very efficient. I hired the 3 men crew with the 3 hour minimum. They initially were a bit late but After a call to dispatch, Sean and his crew arrived. Avery light 2 bedroom move. No big appliances or heavy furniture. They knocked the job out in 2 hrs. And got paid for three. With a $60. 00 dollars tip. All the guys were hard working and deserve the tip. Loved that they showed up masked; I took everyone's temp - and they were good to go. I thought they were going to give me a 30 min head's up but they called when they were in front of the condo building. I saved a place for them so they could park easily (FYI - YOU - the customer - is responsible to pay their parking ticket - so it is up to YOU to make sure there is a legit space for them to park or you pay the fine if they get caught). It's a 3 hour minimum - with a $10 per hour cash discount. My job from pick up to drop off was 1.5 hours. So they were paid for 3 hours of work, right? I didn't tip as much as I would have if it were even 2 hours or more, so in retrospect I felt bad but at the time I felt like I overpaid for the work. One of the guys came running after me after they were paid - asking for more tip. He said he's hungry and needs to eat. Really? I gave him another $10. That stayed with me all day.... Anyway - bottom line - these guys are good. The company is great - dispatch and customer service and very professional. The guys are on time and they're absolutely the real deal. So, here's a story with a happy ending... When the crew arrived on the morning of my move things did not get off to a good start. The young man in charge of the four-man crew I hired was incredibly unprofessional. No idea what his issues are/were but, long story short, he announced he would not take the job and drove off with his guys. Of course I reached out to the folks at Movers Long Beach and, after some heated venting on my part (sorry Chloe!) and apologies for the situation, they assured me that a crew would be sent out to complete the job. It was a hot day. The three-man crew that showed up, directly from a prior job earlier that morning, were absolutely phenomenal. I was prepared for tired bodies but instead I got machines! Very professional, polite and courteous machines. These three guys finished in three hours what the morning's four-man crew estimated would take them seven hours. So, if you have a move and Turbo, Huugie and Nimba show up at your door, consider yourself lucky. These guys are the best. They'll earn every cent of the tip you give, and then some. I went with my intuition using Movers Long Beach. I had no experience or suggestions to try them out but I was in need of some reliable and immediate help. Called about a week a half in advance and luckily they had an opening for me during the week day. The initial call was easy because I was able to set up an appointment date and go over the details as far as pricing and the kind of specific help they would provide. Although I did not move to far I wouldn't have been able to do it without Movers LB. I strongly can vouch that they took great gentle care of my household items and personal belongings. Everything was in tact and not one thing was off or missing. The move itself was painless for me because I didn't have to do a single thing so that was great! I felt bad for the workers cause i had so many tiny things and certain instructions for them and they were able to cater my needs and adjusted/accommodated me very nicely. read more

You may be thrown away with the great reviews, but be careful, you might get fooled with their "professionalism". I got helped by Ali and his buddy, they were fast, polite, and good at what they do. I was impressed by the service until one thing that made me really mad and dissatisfied. That was my floor. When I went downstairs to grab something, I had a call which lasted 15 mins or more, when they noticed I was busy, they used their 4-wheel dolly inside the apartment, they used it to unload light boxes!! When I was around, they parked the dolly just by the apartment door and never got the dolly inside, but when they noticed I was taking a call, they allowed themselves to drag their dolly and scratch my vinyl floor. Right now, my new apartment has already been ruined. When I came back I noticed these lines and prints but I thought it's dust and just need some sweeping and cleaning. But guess what?? I have been cleaning my floor for the third week now, they never gone. I thought they would know better, I thought they would become more careful. Very disappointed. read more

I have to say these guys are amazing workers! Maksat, Vadim, and Kirill really worked hard for their money. The only negative is that they were 10 minutes late but they notified me they would be late. I was astonished as to how fast they were moving and how much they were taking care of each of my items. I thought the move would be quicker since packing a truck and unpacking was fast I didn't think that carrying from one end of a building to another would be more work. I cannot complain as to how hard these guys worked. So far nothing is broken and everything that was furniture was protected and treated as if it was their own. I asked for three movers as I have learned that although this is more expensive up front it makes the moving process faster and in the end doesn't cost more. All three showed up wearing masks. They were careful and thorough. There was some minor damage which is expected in a large move. We were happy with the service and they were very professional. They wrap and use blankets to cushion your items plus they offer to dismantle items if needed. Don't hesitate to call on these movers. read more

When she called to ask about it, they said it would cost her extra to have them come back out to do it. When the men came, they said it should have been done the first time and seem surprised she was being charged extra. Overall the movers were decent... the move started off well, maybe an hour into the move they asked for a quick break I said sure... they took about 15-20 minutes smoking (cigarettes). They took 2 more smoke breaks which I felt was cutting into valuable moving time. Asking for a smoke break is just unprofessional to me. The second issue I had was, they could not fit the second part of my couch into my new place. Took about 30-40 minutes trying and standing thinking how to get it in. I suggested an idea and it was shunned. They gave up and said there was nothing else they could do for me so he gathered the paperwork for me 'to sign off the contract. The least they could do was wrap my couch back in the plastic wrap. Yes they left me with my couch outside... My boyfriend arrived 10 minutes later and was able to get the couch in with the help of the neighbor with NO problem! So I requested compensation for the wasted time and my wish was granted. A check was sent via mail. Would I use them again? Yes minus the smoke breaks. read more
