However, I was charged an additional ~$400 in fees to transport my possessions up/down stairs that were not disclosed in initial messages, and was only revealed after the move was performed, too late to dispute or negotiate after the work was performed. In the contract there is no mention of stair surcharges either, so it feels like the individual movers that performed the work added this on top of the contracted fee. The movers did not speak English fluently which added to the confusion over payment and breakdown of costs. Overall the job was performed as expected but the final costs were way more than expected.

To make a very long story short, we were verbally promised delivery within 7-10 days, latest was July 10th, of the pick up date. That did not happen. They even blew past the 20 day delivery window in the contract. Our delivery did not show up until July 27th. All the while we were receiving harassing texts demanding the rest of the payment or else they would turn around. And when the truck did finally arrive, only the driver was present to unload it. We paid for loading and unloading services and were basically left on own with the driver to unload. I have a physical disability and was unable to help, so my partner bore the burden of five grueling hours of unloading a 26 foot moving truck with the driver. We contacted the company after an hour or two passes and still no other movers arrived and were told that, in fact, they WERE there! They even argued with us saying that the movers confirmed they would be there in 45 minutes, 2 hours ago. And yet. No movers. Also the driver used a slur in front of my partner and I about a group of people that I belong to. Absolutely disgusting.

In fact, she wrote a new date on the ticket I had returned. I couldn't believe it. Take a photo of your return ticket before handing it back. Dishonest place.

I bought a new house and I needed to move in my furniture from a condominium to the new home.The first moving company I called had a high fees,plus I had to pay for supplies such as : boxes, wardrobes, shrinkwrap, tape and drive time. I set the date for moving,but the company called and canceled the move one day before the move because they went out of business. Through my coworker referral, I called the same day to Twilight Movers.There was no deposit fee, free supplies that I could use and free drive time if it's under 10 miles .They came in the same day and they made a free estimate. The next day the guys were at the door exactly at 7:00am. They wrapped all my furniture in blankets and they used professional dolly's to move all my heavy items such as: refrigerator, armoire, 2 couches etc.They were extremely careful with my belongings. I lived in a two story condo and the guys had to go up and down on the stairs they were super careful with my walls in the unit. They did such a professional, fast and clean job . We first noticed this place in downtown St Pete, but as this location is closer to our hotel, we ended up enjoying our breakfast here. Glad we did, because being in the suburb, it has easy parking and a large store space. Decorated in light wood and white, it's very "hygge" and inviting. They even have a huge table to encourage communal dining and getting to know your neighbors/locals. If you come here, during your drive, think about what you want to be if you were an animal. You'll be asked, as that's how they call out your order, so you can remain anonymous. And that's how we end up dining along side an eagle, a raptor, a jaguar, a rabbit and the whole zoo. As expected, the biscuit is fresh and flaky. We have to ask the counter for butter, and the maple syrup is so good, I didn't smear it on my biscuit, I dunked my biscuit in it. Okay, this is mostly a biscuit and chicken place, but their bluegrass grit is excellent! The grit is creamy but not overly cheesy. The various toppings, including a runny egg, makes every bite tasty and varied. If we had more time in Tampa, this is definitely one place we'd go more than once!! read more

They were friendly, accommodating, and were spot on about how long it would take. They helped with packing but didn't just start taking things and boxing it; they asked what we wanted them to pack and take. They worked tirelessly and were a well-oiled machine. They brought all equipment they said they would provide- dollies, wardrobe boxes, shrink-wrap, moving blankets, tape, and boxes. They asked where I wanted my sofa to be located, which way I wanted the headboard, and where the tables should go. I highly recommend their services. If I could give a negative star review I would. Ghetto southsider was one of the 3 that came. He clearly had done time and his mouth showed as much. I initially let it go bc I needed to get the move done. These guys hadn't moved one piece of furniture yet and there was awkward "con"flict. It was the most confrontational situation ever. This dirtbag told his supervisor, "fuck this guy "D" I ain't moving his shit". I remained calm and told them to leave. I called the owner Andre and he was very indifferent. He could care less. From the first phone call .When i spoke with Andre he was very helpful and trying to work on all my demands , he explain to me what is included in the price . The movers Dory Greg and Erik they called me 30 min before they arrival after we went through a walk through the apartment , they started to work and they did not stop until they finished. I have nothing but wonderful words to say about Eric's team, who did a fantastic job moving our 4 bedroom house and our full garage in an amazing 6 hours, exactly how they estimated a week prior. The day of the move LUIS, FERNANDO, and JUAN came. I had already packed the majority of my apartment in boxes because I was planning on moving everything myself but there was a few things I didn't box up and they were able to do it for me. I have a two bed two bath apartment and they were able to grab everything and load up the truck in two hours! I swear these guys hustled! They wrapped my dresser, tv stand, tv to protect it from damage. When we got to my new place (which is about an hour and a half away) they also were so fast and efficient. And they finished on time for me to go back and pick up my daughter. Thinking about my original plan I don't think we could've done it safely and efficiently like they did. Now I wouldn't want to move any other way! I get so worried because I hear horror stories about your belongings getting damaged but I promise you won't regret this moving company!
