Though they provide a window of time, they showed up as requested, and were in constant communication with me. they were prepared with blankets and dollies. 2 guys, one large truck, and the ability to maneuver large pieces of furniture quickly and with ease. I called on LA Mini-Movers when I was faced with a very difficult task. How do I get an eleven foot kitchen table weighing 800 pounds up three flights of stairs with two switchbacks? I spoke with Tim prior to the move and described my situation. He was forthright, sounded confident, but not overly cocky about the task at hand. On the day of the move, Tim, Nate, Chris, and Tony showed up ready to work. I was a nervous wreck as I didn't want anyone to get hurt. The guys exemplified teamwork, thoroughly discussing each move before it was executed. The move was every bit as difficult as expected, but teamwork, persistence, and strong backs prevailed. Tom and Adam were incredible! They showed up on time (with gloves and masks on due to COVID 19) and handled all of my stuff with care. They made sure to wrap everything thoroughly and packed everything so it wouldn't get damaged. I felt bad because to get to my new place there were 2 flights of narrow stairs and all I could think about was the Friends episode "PIVOT!," but they moved everything including the couches without a hitch! I was very pleased with the service we were given moving furniture to two different locations. The two young men (sorry didn't get their names) were very polite and got the job done quickly and efficiently. The first location they stopped at had a guard gate and I had failed to let them know that there was a height restriction on going through. Tom and his partner came to our house in Torrance and moved all our furniture into the garage for our floor refinishing early, on time and under budget. Very reasonable rates!!! Awesome job by Leon and Gerry! Should've found them earlier! We moved from one apartment to another one on the same floor. We managed to get everything moved into the new place but had trouble with our queen size adjustable bed frame, which is about 150 lbs. 5 of us managed to drag (poorly) the bed frame into the living room of the new apartment but needed to get it upstairs into the master bedroom, which required moving the bed frame through some very tight spaces. After spending two entire days moving, we decided to hire someone to finish moving the bed frame. After striking out at home depot (where did all the day laborers go??), I got numerous quotes and settled on LA Mini Movers, and we definitely were happy with the result. Leon and Gerry showed up as promised and quickly assessed the best way to get the bed frame upstairs. Then they went to work, covered the bed frame on plastic wrap, and then expertly maneuvered the bed frame upstairs. It took them less than 5 minutes! Then they offered to plug in the bed frame and set the mattress on top just to help out! We should have hired them to do the whole move! read more

I needed to move a large antique dresser across town and couldn't find a mover for such a small job but LA Mini Movers were willing to help. Scheduling was easy and all done quickly by text. In fact, they responded to me even after most businesses were closed. On the day of the move, Tony and Robert, called well in advance to let me know when exactly they were going to arrive. I had requested a "truck" assuming they would bring a small truck but instead they came with a full sized moving truck. Talk about coming prepared for anything! Tony and Robert were very friendly, courteous and professional. When I explained that the furniture we were moving was an antique and fragile they completely understood. They inspected the piece thoroughly and wrapped it with extra blankets. They were also very careful not to hold it by any weak points. Even when loading it into the truck they were very careful to lay it down on the safest side and strap everything down. Once they delivered the piece they also helped us put it back together. They went the extra mile to make sure our furniture was delivered safely and that we were happy with the service. Finally a word about pricing. They are priced competitively. While some places charge by the half day/day, LA Mini Movers charged me by the hour. So if you have a small move across town or only need to relocate a few pieces of furniture they may be a great option for you. I love these guys and have been recommending to everyone I know who is moving. My friends and family love them too. I have moved a couple times and Tim, who coordinates the moves, has been nothing but a gentleman and so patient with me. You all know how stressful moving is so coordination is key. Tim also has an automated assistant who helps him and both of them always have the same easy can do attitude. Really puts my nerves at ease. God bless Tim for being such a good guy! Then there are the movers. It really doesn't matter which team of movers you get. They are all 100% top notch! They wear masks, and also social distance when able. They will wrap and baby your stuff. But if you are like me and ask them not to, because nothing you have is that valuable, they will still take every precaution to baby your stuff. They treated everything I had in the most careful and respectful manner. Much better than the attention I give to my own stuff. It made me respect and take better care of my furniture. There prices are also fair. And I always tip the movers and provide prepackaged cold healthy drinks, as well as snacks to keep their energy up. Five stars for the hardworking movers- Tom and Josh. Professional from start to finish. It was our first time hiring movers and they made it easy. We moved from 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom apartment and although we thought there wasn't much to move, it took about 5-6 hours (seemed very long) because of the three flights of stairs. The sun was going down so my hubby helped a bit just to get it done. Expect to pay $700-$800 (we added a generous tip). Worth it but next time I'll ask for 3 movers to reduce time. read more
