Umid and his partner made my move an extremely efficient and calm experience. They moved everything with the utmost care and consideration, wrapping everything carefully. Any hiccup along the way (tables not fitting through doorframes) was handled with calm and swift problem solving. They went above and beyond to help with anything I needed. Umid even put my bed together before he left! Moving is the WORST, so do yourself a favor and hire these guys! Upon putting the last article into storage, he pulled out his phone and said "ok stopping timer now" so I could see they weren't overcharging. I thought that was very sweet. Neo Movers are true professionals! They did an incredible job fitting all of my things into 4 small pods. Everything was wrapped so carefully; and they thought of ways to protect my pieces I had not even considered! The storage pods were packed like an intricate puzzle to perfection! All of the the guys were so polite and thoughtful. They never complained once even when I knew they were absolutely exhausted! My job ended up taking much longer than I had anticipated; but they kept going until everything was finished (and even managed to leave perfect spaces for the last few items I needed to put in at the end). I highly recommend this crew! My only one suggestion is that you should plan on the job taking longer and costing more than you might expect (not that they were in any way unfair with their pricing - I definitely got my money's worth from this crew) - they must be paid at the time of the move by credit card or cash (the rate is less expensive if you can use cash). I ran out of money - and I think I stressed everybody out at the end which I felt terrible about - so be sure to bring plenty of cash to cover extra moving time, moving materials, and tips for the guys. I ordered a couple of pizzas at the end and broke out a couple of six packs of Pelligrino sodas which the guys really needed after such a hard day's work. I have never hired movers but since my wife is pregnant we wanted to make the move to our new house as stress free as possible. Tim and his crew was able to it for us for a good price and with great care and respect for our belongings. I don't think I'll go back to moving by myself and going though to hassle of renting a truck and breaking my back when I can hire a clean, punctual crew, that can deliver all my furniture intact without scratch or ding. These guys saved me! The 2 guys I hired to move my one bedroom apartment into the pod bailed on me the night before my move, which left me frantically calling movers early that morning. Bill hustled to get a crew to me within 2 hours that day! Yes, within 2 hours of the call! He was very helpful and amenable to working on the price with me since I knew I wouldn't need the 3 hour minimum they and all other companies I called required. My husband and I recently closed on our first house and needed to move seven years' worth of stuff from our 2BD upstairs apartment, including several pieces of solid wood furniture and a big fridge, so we decided to hire movers for the first time. Neo Movers was super communicative and friendly through the whole process--they recommended 3 movers and a 26' truck and it was exactly what we needed. I needed to book a move from Santa Monica to a remote area about 2.5 hours away. I called a number of movers for an estimate and quickly determined that most movers charge according to the size of your home -- 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, etc. This flat rate system is fantastic if you're a disorganized hoarder, but if you're not, you're being charged more than is necessary. I found that Neo Movers doesn't do things this way -- they charge by the hour and discuss your situation to give you a pretty good estimate as to what you'll be looking at. Even though I knew that by law they'd be charging me double hours for the long distance move (they charge for their drive back) I was still looking at about half the rate of any of the movers who charge according to the size of my apartment. Even with the far better estimate, or perhaps because of it, I was nervous about booking with Neo Movers. I was looking at photos of multiple trucks but they didn't have a lot of Yelp reviews. I've heard enough moving nightmare stories to be suspicious. I called them to discuss my move and asked about the lack of Yelp reviews. The guy explained that they just haven't been around long enough. My suspicions and my need to save $1000 battled it out and I finally took the risk and booked the move. They helped me save even more money by suggesting 2 moving guys instead of 3 as I'd essentially be paying for an extra guy on a long drive there and back. The moving day arrived and I still wasn't convinced these guys were legit and would show up at all, and if they did, if I'd ever see my belongings again. The movers Roman and Damir arrived exactly on time, were extremely professional, polite and friendly. I was already packed but they still wrapped all the large pieces - art, sofa, desk, etc. They were very careful with everything, extremely efficient, and packed like they had been doing this for years. We all arrived at my new place 2.5 hours away at the same time and they unpacked the truck as quickly and carefully as they had packed it, using extreme care with everything. When they finished, Roman detailed the charges which were exactly what they had predicted, with no surprises, and it amounted to about $1000 savings over Santa Monica Movers and a few others who had given me estimates. On top of the savings, it was nice to do business with a newer company that really appreciated my business. Despite my initial concerns before booking, I give this company my highest recommendation for price, professionalism, efficiently, care, and for just being good, decent guys. read more

Tom and Bob and Oggi were so incredibly awesome!!! They moved a GIANT sofa through a narrow doorway with no problem at all. I thought we would have to remove the door but they managed to get it in without and didn't scrape or touch a thing. Kind of magic! Awesome job. I've never really used movers before because I've heard horror stories about things getting broken, stolen, or just people being jerks and what not but after this last move with Neo Movers, I gotta say one of the smoothest moves I've ever had. I would totally go with Neo Movers again or recommend to anyone moving. For me moves can be so stressful recruiting and/or bribing friends with pizza or drinks, with Neo the movers they just came in and were super friendly, fun, and clean. I was thoroughly shocked wasn't such a pain it usually is. This is coming from someone that has moved about 5-6 times in the last five years. One of the initial reasons I used Neo Movers, was because of how affordable they were, especially in the Santa Monica area or west LA. They took my big TV off the wall and wrapped it carefully and helped me by getting screws with anchors off the wall too!
