Worst experience!!! We moved yesterday. Eric was HORRIBLE!!! Looked like he was on drug. He tried to charge $50 extra to move our refrigerator. His work wasn't professional at all. My table, lamp and wardrobe were damaged and broken. They were taking a long time driving from my previous place to new place which is 8mins away. They took over 6 hours to move us from 1 bedroom apartment. I did moving with different company before that was 3 hours. I call them because they got good reviews. It wasn't clear when he was trying to give me to total. Didn't deduct the deal I bought from yelp. End up over charging credit card. NOT RECOMMENDED!!! read more

Overall, I was happy with my move. I requested 3 movers- all were thorough with handling and caring for my things. They did plastic wrap some things that were unecessary- it took them 3 and half hours for an 800 sq ft apartment. Oh well. I moved only 10 minutes down the road, but it took them 27 minutes? I have them very detailed driving instructions and even had him follow me and my boyfriend. They still made a very obvious wrong turn. Minus the unecessary extra driving time( and extra half hour of charges), I was happy overall and would recommend. read more

DON'T BE FOOLED BY ALL INCLUSIVE HOURLY RATE! At first it might seem to be a good deal,they don't charge extra for distance or amount of stops, but these guys are really really REALLY slow.They walk slow,they wrap slow,they carry things slow.Im not talking about heavy things. We moved 700 sq ft apt and stopped at 2 nearby locations that took us 7 hours. Only bed among all the furniture needed to be assembled and my friend had to assemble it himself otherwise it would take even longer. We had a few problems with this service. I honestly don't know how they received five stars. Here are the reasons I am giving a poor rating: 1. They messed up on our reservation and mistakenly scheduled it for a different day. 2. They miscommunicated several times that the movers were on their way when in actuality they weren't. They advised us they would call us for updates within a certain amount of time but didn't. We constantly had to be proactive to call them. 3. At the last minute to tried to reconcile by putting a crew together. That crew ended up showing up six hours later. We were supposed to be out of the property later that evening. They ended up breaking our belongings and management didn't compensate for it. I have moved several times and this is the WORST experience! I will not use this company again when I move and will definitely deter friends and family from using them. Companies who have poor miscommunication and don't compensate for their poor services properly will eventually go out of business. Please change the way you treat all your customers. read more

Had a great experience with this moving company. Called them day-of on a Saturday and they were able to accommodate. The sales rep on the phone was extremely patient, kind and helpful. A month later and I even remember his name (Mason)! The pricing is very fair (if anything - cheaper than other companies) and the dollar amount is no BS. They set the price and that's what it is, no hidden fees or additional anything. It's an hourly rate of ~$130 and it includes EVERYTHING with minimum of 3hrs. 2 movers, a large truck, tax, gas/mileage, boxes and/or supplies for moving (boxes are returned so they are able to re-use), you name it! Again, NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE for any of this. I think cash price is $10 less than credit card. We ended up using their services for ~3hrs and 45mins. All we paid for was the 3hrs and they pro-rated the 45mins since a whole hour wasn't used up. Obviously, there's tip for the movers too but they absolutely deserved it because we moved on an extremely hot summer day in LA and they didn't do any dilly dallying - they were working 100% of the time. I personally don't mind - but I suppose the movers can look more professional. Again, the weather was super hot and they did an excellent job on making sure all my items were packaged safely for the move. read more

I hired 3 movers for a Saturday move (late-August 2017) with what I estimated was 4-5hrs of work to do. Nick, Paul, and Bob were my movers. They got it done in 3 hrs. These guys were right on time, called 30min before arriving, and gave a generous window between arriving and actually starting the clock. Just to give an idea of logistics for my particular move - I was living in a 3rd floor 1bdrm apartment (approx 750sqft) with an old, slow elevator. I moved into a ground floor unit across town (~8mi away) but right next to the street. If I didn't have such a difficult move-out location, I probably could have gotten away with hiring only 2 people. However, having 3 movers in my situation was ideal. One guy wrapped and staged boxes, the other two speedily took stacks of boxes down to the truck. It was honestly kind of amazing how fast they moved all my stuff. 3hrs later and I was living somewhere else. Full disclosure, I am incredibly paranoid about my expensive electronics, so I had already moved my TV/computer/gaming stuff and most important family heirlooms (mostly so I didn't misplace anything super important to me during the quick move). However, I believe that if I had moved nothing myself, these guys worked fast enough to still have it done within my original estimate of 4-5hrs. That being said, if you have very valuable or fragile items, you need to communicate with them beforehand. These guys work really fast, if you tell them it's fragile they will accommodate. But you may need to separate these items out ahead of time, and make sure they're labeled appropriately. Let them know what is fragile or most important to you before they start, so they can appropriately sort and stack those items into the truck. All provided materials and equipment mentioned in my confirmation email/reservation were accurate and included with the hourly rate. I originally thought saran-wrapping things would be time consuming and unnecessary, but these guys made it look easy. Stuff was wrapped and unwrapped fast, and it kept everything clean. I had cold waters available for them, they needed to charge their phones, but mostly they just spoke to each other, coordinated, and moved fast. There are other movers out there who may be a bit more careful, but they'll work slower. They may have newer equipment or a better looking truck, but they'll cost more. Movers Long Beach are not only the best value, but these guys work hard, fast, and do their best to wrap things quickly and deliver them without damage. If you do the groundwork, make it easy for them to get started, and ideally have a preference for where things should go during the offload, your move will go faster than you thought. I was so satisfied with their professionalism and speed, I didn't mind at all that I paid the 4hr minimum + tip (~$500 total, including tip) for just 3 hrs of work. They hustled and gave me an additional hour of my life back, when they could have easily taken 4-5hrs and gotten paid more. If that doesn't speak to the quality of a local moving service, I don't know what else to tell you. read more

After some back and forth with the check (the first one came to me dated 2016 instead of 2017 so I could not deposit it), I received my refund. They also assured me that they are updating their training and sending managers out to job sites to shadow/review teams to make sure they are working effectively. This was supposed to be an 3 hr load time move out, instead the two movers took 5hrs 30 mins to move out. The condo is 850 sq feet. We had all boxes all packed. It's a two bedroom but only one bedroom was needed to be moved out. We have a marble dinning table, two med marble corner tables, a queen size bed, couple of Tv's. But the truck was full. Yes part of the delay was the elevator, even though they are only So called movers, it shouldn't take 5 1/2 to move out. I'm just complaining about how long it took. I don't know if a refund will be on order but this is an legit complaint. You should hire more experience workers in the future. read more

I contact this company through the yelp and I thought I had scheduled their services when I called them they told I nerved give them the deposit, which they never told me about! I couldn't go to another moving company because I thought everything was taking care. All this happened on the day I need to move to told they could add to the schedule late afternoon which I agree! big mistake!!! To move one bedroom apartment it took then 7 hrs between two guys. Horrible! The two guys they sent, Alex and Bob, argued about how to load everything the whole time. Then half way in, they told me I needed straps. Ran to lowes while still being charged for these guys to slowly pack the truck and bicker like a bitter married couple. Everything we had was packed already and wrapped in our garage ready to be placed in truck. I moved everything light out on the driveway to help and it still took them 3 and a half hours to load the 17 foot truck which they did horribly. They literally threw things on top of things. Everything was scratched or broken. Pictures to show. Hire someone else! The positive reviews have got to be done by workers. These guys didn't have a clue what they were doing. We have moved several times, doing the loading ourselves, and we never end up with broken or damaged items. On top of it all it only took my husband and son 1 and a half hours to unload. read more

I live in a second floor unit and they got my 3 seater couch w/chaise up 2 flights of stairs in appx 30 min. They were courteous and respectful of the furniture that YOU paid money for. A $50 deposit was payed over the phone prior to pick-up; they communicate with you on approximate pick-up / drop-off times and even beat my expectations of timeliness. For $225 ($50 deposit negates the $50 truck rental fee) $65 and hour (cash)/$75 an hour (credit card) I had the best service! Called yesterday for a last minute move the following morning but no one answered the phone. 5 minutes later, the office called me to apologize for missing the call! He was able to provide a truck, 3 movers, and a reasons quote over the phone. I needed to move my mom's ornate, glass and antique style formal living room and dining room furniture, including a 7ft by 6ft glass china cabinet. The guy didn't even sound phased. Today, they arrived 30 minutes early (charges did not start until the promised 9am start time)! Tony, Alex, and Constantine were ready with boxes, dollies, wrap and tools to break down furniture. Finished packing, travel, and unloading 30 minutes less than the mandatory 3hr charge!!! They even took the time to amuse my 8 month old niece, such sweet guys. I had a small storage unit and these 3 wonderful gentlemen were able to organize the unit to fit everything and make more room. I can't say enough great things about these people! We needed some help moving some larger/heavy items last week. We were impressed by all the 5-star reviews - not a single review less than that! - so we made a reservation. The two movers showed up with smiles on their faces and ready to go. We were nervous about our furniture, but there was no need. They treat this stuff better than any mom treats her newborn baby! They wrapped up everything in blankets and plastic and treated it with incredible care. After they finished bringing everything into our new place, they let us inspect it to make sure there was no damage before we paid. He lost one of my items (it got picked up by a cleaning crew after it fell off the truck, but I was able to get it back), he didn't know how to lift things, wrap things, or do things efficiently. The other mover had to instruct him the entire time. Kind of slow overall. On arrival, I started helping so we could move at a normal speed and they got the message and picked up the pace. The 2 guys were very professional and very strong (a couch had to be lifted over a second floor banister and lowered to another man onto a landing on the stairs). I used this company bc of they had the best Yelp reviews. Then I found out later, it's because the hound you and hound you to write one. So bear that in mind. Also, it depends on which crew you get. I had Sherzod and his guys. The good: They worked hard, were efficient and were professional. The bad: The boss, Sherzod, made me feel like he hated me for the first 2 hours of the move. I was actually afraid of this guy. Every time i would give a suggestion, he would stop the whole operation and make me sign a long waiver. This happened, i kid you not about 5 times. I got the idea that he wanted me out of the way and silent. He actually shouted at me "Hey I know how to load my own truck!" Of course you don't have the option of cancelling, this is your only move day so I was as nice and compliant as I could be and he loosened up toward the middle of the move. They moved me from my old house and into storage. When it was time to move from storage to the new house, I used Secure Moving Service in Huntington Beach and it was ten times better. Also, when I paid my deposit, it went to an international bank. I called and asked for a refund and to use a domestic bank and the second deposit also went international.
