Been waiting for this gem to open up for weeks now! IT'S OPEN! Came in and grabbed the coffee shake and an açaí bowl. The wait and anticipation was SOOO worth it! Everyone needs to try this place. Met the owner and some of the employees, and they were so sweet! Not only did I get deliciousness, but my experience was perfected with the service! THANK YOU AÇAÍ BAR!!!!!! read more

Just found this new Acai spot in Pasadena and I must say the Acai is on point! Not too sweet not too bitter. Good selection of toppings. Priced very fairly especially for the area. Staff were really helpful and knowledgeable. They've got Bulletproof cold brew on tap which is the best way to wash down Acai in the morning. I got a Nature (small) size bowl with Hemp Granola, mango, and banana. Kept it healthy and said no to the Nutella (I got resolutions to keep!). The Hemp Granola was bomb! It never got soggy while eating the Acai (if you know you know!). Family owned and they're super friendly. Worth a visit! read more

This is my new go-to Açaí place, especially during the COVID times. They have a super easy & reliable online ordering through Square with wonderful picture and description of each item. It's great as I'm able to order ahead and just walk in to pick up my order. My favorite has to be the Berry Me Bowl filled with strawberries, blackberries, blue berries and goji berries. The fresh fruit and the açaí blend calls for pure deliciousness. I tend to get the Vitality size as it is the largest size available and I believe is worth its price. I can usually get 2 servings if I eat it by myself. Definitely a delicious, healthy, & satisfying treat. read more

Revising my first review after I went back yesterday... I decided to take Peter up on his offer and I'm glad that I did! My bowl was delicious. I got the same thing as before just with less peanut butter. This time I could actually enjoy the Açaí. My fruit was fresh and sweet and the granola is everything! I still think there should be an option for real peanut butter. Skippy has too much sugar added. Great customer service from the young lady that helped me. I should've got her name, but her energy was great like she wanted to be there! That's always a plus when supporting small businesses. read more

I picked up two drinks, one for me and my sister, and I got the Acai Berry Smoothie for both of us. The employee at the time I visited explained the menu options when she found out it was my first time stopping by which I thought was really sweet. However, as much as I wanted to love it, the Acai Berry Smoothie didn't taste much like acai or berries; there was an overpowering flavor of peanut butter which I thought was kind of unpleasant over the course of the smoothie. read more

Wow, I am extremely pleased with Acai Bar. Simple, Quick, and Exciting. You are first introduced with the owner when entering, and what a kind man he is, super great and fun conversation and assures you that the acai will be good. As the acai enthusiast I am I have grown extremely picky with the bowls I eat as some places make the acai too watery and others too hard but man oh man acai bar has the perfect in between. The texture of the acai is just so satisfying and all the toppings are extremely fresh making it such a perfect combo. I had gotten there second smallest size and instantly regretted it!! Because I just wanted more. With the business being so brand new, A week in! and having such quality is quite impressive will definitely be a regular here at Acai Barr! Ciao read more

Delicious Acai and great service. I don't live in the area but this is the second time I've been to Acai Bar in Pasadena and loved it both times. I was so disappointed when our local açai place closed down a year ago. Then comes the "Acai Bar" to save the day!! Peter the owner, & his great staff, couldn't be more gracious & nice to all who walk in! My family & I walked in with our pups & we felt at home right away! There Açaí bowls are DELISH!!! They have a very good variety of bowls, & you can build your own as well!! I had their berry bowl, which had various berries, bee pollen, & goji berries. I will be back for it!! The Açaí is like no other that I've tasted ! It's just the right amount of sweet, with out being overly sweet. The smoothies are also fantastic ! Açai Bar will be seeing a lot of me!!!!! read more

This is how I received my bowl. Açaí was frozen. Not enjoyable at all. Not worth the $16. Will not be ordering here again. Completely disappointed. read more

Awesome new Açaí spot on the corner of Hill and Washington! Incredible options like coffee shakes, smoothies, and Açaí bowls. I had the coffee shake and tried some of tthe Açaí. Both were phenomenal. THE BEST ACAI AROUND! Not joking. I discovered Acai Bar during the COVID 19 pandemic. I was concerned to go out to eat anywhere in fear an infected person will handle my food, but the gal who waited on me had enough PPE on to make me feel comfortable. So, I sat in my car outside Acai Bar and made my order online (through Yelp, in fact) and 5 minutes later, it was brought to my car. I took it home and gobbled it all up! And you know what, it was the most delicious Acai bowl I've ever had. My toppings included bananas, peanut butter, some yummy granola, and bee pollen. They have many more toppings to choose from and I intend to try them all!! Go try it, you'll be glad you did. read more

This has to be one of my favorite Acai bowls that I have had so far. One thing you have to do is to remember to add granola, if you want it. I unfortunately forgot to add granola but it's ok cause it still tasted amazing. It's such a cute little place. I love how modern it looks inside. It's been on my mind lately and I really want to go back!! Definitely recommend!! read more

This place really has my heart! Literally will miss this place when i go back to my country! Dont ask me twice about the flavor of the acai! It's thicc, not watery, the level of sweetness is great, everything about it is just right. The berries are fresh, they have the gluten free option for granola, and the flavor of the almond butter is great too! But, the most important is the amount of topping they give to my acai bowl, a lot! literally i only have one and a half month left to eat this amazing acai :') gonna be back for more , or everyday maybe to enjoy it while it lasts! (This is my second review tbh, my first review is great too haha) i wont be busy writing a review if the food isnt that great. read more

I have an açaí bowl from Açaí Bar almost every day! They are the absolute best. They use the freshest fruit and I make it as healthy as possible with hemp hearts, chia seeds and granola, and it still is amazing. Plus they are so fast! I just wish there was a little more nutritional info since it's such a big part of my diet. Definitely the best açaí bowl and smoothie place in Pasadena! It's been a few months since I posted that review and have been back MANY times since. If I recall correctly, even on the next visit, they had added social distancing decals to the ground and everything was running smoothly. I don't think I have ever seen a business react so quickly to something like that and it is refreshing to see! The bowls continue to be outstanding! Can't recommend Acai Bar enough! read more

I like their açaí bowls but they overcharge and don't disclose prices. I tried to order a Butter me up (the 8$ bowl) and the girl cashier adds 3$ worth of additional seeds/dates. I specifically asked for only strawberry as an addition, but she added seeds and dates. I also asked the cashier for the 8$ bowl and she said "yeah I got it."Apparently she didn't because I had to go back in there and ask for the receipt, which showed $3 worth of extra charge. It's not a huge deal but it is annoying because I like this spot. I don't want to be charged extra for nothing and I assume everyone else doesn't either. Could be better. read more

I came here a few weeks ago. This place has a good location; street parking is available! What I liked the most about this place was their decor and outside patio. I ordered my bowl (one of their signatures). The bowl had everything I wanted except for granola. The owner, I met shortly after ordering, offered me free granola which was very kind of him. We went off talking about my Jeep and cars for good minute. I would definitely come back if I'm craving an acai bowl in Pasadena! They have smoothies and three signature bowls. You can also build your own bowl. read more

Acai bar - Berries on berries - Acai Bowls Near Me - Pasadena, California

This is a wonderful place, but you definitely don't get what you pay for, as it's incredibly overpriced. The containers they provide are barely filled, usually it's a scoop or two of açaí with a ton of free space remaining in the container. Aside from this, it's delicious. On occasion, the customer service can be a bit subpar, some days it's good, others it's pretty bad. There's nice seating outside and it's conveniently located for quick parking and pickup. Like I said, my only grievance is you don't get much of what you pay for servings size, especially considering the price. Regardless, would still recommend this place, it makes for a tasty treat! read more

I have ordered many times since my first review and the food is still great however I am downgrading my review to 4 stars as I primarily order through delivery apps and there have been multiple times where the açaí bar staff has missed including selected and paid for ingredients into my bowl which is very frustrating to say the least. read more

This just became my favorite place to grab an açaí bowl. My first time coming here was during the COVID19 pandemic so of course there was no indoor access. The consistency of the açaí blew my expectations, it was super creamy and didn't melt quickly unlike some other places I've tried. You can add just about any toppings you'd like...yes they have Nutella! The employees are so kind, Peter was very accommodating and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. Very convenient location since there are no acai shops in north Pasadena but it tastes just ok. They do not give you much in terms of toppings and if you get the largest size they do not fill it up all the way. I would rather just make the drive to that old town spot, root and rye or something. Also this spot is pretty pricey for what you get and the parking is limited because of millie's. read more

Was skeptical about ACAI BOWLS because they dont look to appetizing to me. Well i decided to step out of my lil box and explore and ordered from here off the Grubhub app. I ordered there already premade bowls and just added my own toppings. Delivery was on point. Opened up the bag to reveal to me my bowl of ACAI at first look I wasnt sure, so i said to self " grab the damn spoon and try it" Self did just that and BOOM was I in heaven. I dont know what i was expecting but it wasnt that and I was not DISAPPOINTED. IT WAS MIGHTY DELICIOUS. So delicious in fact tht i almost ordered me another one. Safe to say they have become my favorite and iam so happy i stepped out of my lil box and tried something different. Will be making a in person visit soon!! read more
