I love a good Acai bowl. I have never been to the Acai bar in person, normally my family will pick it up for me. They have a number of options and toppings that are available to make the bowl tailored to your taste preferences and health goals. They also partner with Grub Hub and during the mask mandate, I was able to order a couple acai bowls to be delivered directly to a couple of my family members. Everything was so easy; placed the order, picked a time, paid for the order and added a tip for the delivery driver. This made life so convenient. I didn't need to leave my home (in a different city) and my family and the delivery driver didn't even have contact making the delivery safe for all involved. Both times I've been to açaí bar, my experiences have been disappointing. The first time was when I got their açaí bowl and saw that the açaí bowl had more granola than the actual açaí. Today I was really craving a smoothie and decided to give their pineapple mint smoothie a try. It was not a smoothie. It was a slushy. I paid $9 for a slushy that I didn't even want to finish. I take my son my music class every Tuesday and I always see this place every time since it's right next door and wanted to give it a try. Today is the day that I finally get to try this place, since I have a long day and won't be able to stop for food. I thought about getting the açaí bowl but that wouldn't be convenient for me since I'll be driving. I ordered the açaí smoothie. Once I got inside, I told the staff that I'm here for pick up and gave her my name. Update: as much as I LOVE this place I've been back here twice, and both employees were not wearing their mask properly each time I went. Nose completely exposed. I'm not trying to be a karen but when they make the bowls they lean over them and having your nose exposed makes wearing the mask pointless. I've been looking for a good Acai bowl place and I am happy to come across this one! I ordered the $8 Acai bowl with three toppings. The toppings were really good!! The fruit was super fresh and the granola was really good and crunchy. The actual smoothie part was really think and has more of an ice cream consistency. I really liked this because I hate when my smoothie bowl melts super fast. But I can see that some other people (my boyfriend) might think it's too thick and frozen. Since they use one base for all their bowls they might make that fresh and then freeze it, so that might be why it's so frozen. But I personally liked the texture. The portion size was really good and it was plenty. I also really like how they mix the granola in with the Acai part instead of just putting all the toppings on top. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because they messed up my boyfriends bowl. They gave him bananas instead of blueberries and we tried to go back to change it but there was a line and we didn't want to go around the other customers (who weren't wearing masks). My friend and I were looking for a healthy and refreshing açaí bowl after hiking a nearby trail. We found this spot on Yelp and decided to give it a try. They comply with social distancing and have it setup with the cashier in the doorway so as to not let any people in the tiny shop! Thankfully they had a small table in front and we were able to sit since the order took a little bit to get out. My friend ordered the Berry Me Bowl and I opted for the Açaí Berry Smoothie (drinkable since I had to drive). It was cold and refreshing and although I tasted more blueberry than anything it wasn't bad.. just an observation. So I guess my only complaint about this smoothie is that the chunks of dates kept getting stuck in the straw. My suggestion would be to either get bigger straws (like the ones used for boba), or throughly blend the dates to avoid this in the future. read more

This place is soooo amazing!! You can customize your bowl which is what I choose to do although they do have a few pre made bowls which i'm hoping to try out in the future. I will definitely come back. Peter was so great and friendly and mentioned the yelp check in for a discount so that was very sweet of him because he didn't have to go out of his way at all. Revising my first review after I went back yesterday... I decided to take Peter up on his offer and I'm glad that I did! My bowl was delicious. I got the same thing as before just with less peanut butter. This time I could actually enjoy the Açaí. My fruit was fresh and sweet and the granola is everything! It's great as I'm able to order ahead and just walk in to pick up my order. My favorite has to be the Berry Me Bowl filled with strawberries, blackberries, blue berries and goji berries. The fresh fruit and the açaí blend calls for pure deliciousness. I tend to get the Vitality size as it is the largest size available and I believe is worth its price. Just found this new Acai spot in Pasadena and I must say the Acai is on point! Not too sweet not too bitter. Good selection of toppings. Priced very fairly especially for the area. Staff were really helpful and knowledgeable. They've got Bulletproof cold brew on tap which is the best way to wash down Acai in the morning. I got a Nature (small) size bowl with Hemp Granola, mango, and banana. Kept it healthy and said no to the Nutella (I got resolutions to keep!). The Hemp Granola was bomb!
